Good Deed

Good Deed:

As usually, for Val, it was a very normal day. He just walking feeling the humid wind, hitting his face. Soon I will go to Balbadd to see the so called dungeon Val really wanted to go but did not have enough money.
He walks down a street in the middle of the town. It some time of parade. Maybe a holiday or something. It was very humid at least a 100 degrees. As Val walks down he spots a woman. She is wearing a robe with a beautiful silk. She is holding a bag which looked like it was full of pearls or jewels. She is walking very elegantly with figure. She must be from Kou. Well let me just ignore. Val continues with the parade. He looks at the different balloons and dancers. Then he hears a scream. It sounds like a scream of help. He turns to the direction he hears the sound. It is the same woman. She is jumping and crying in anger. She points at young looking teenager running away. He has the same bag the woman had. Val knows that he had to do that right thing. But he also realized he did not want to hurt the kid. He draws his swords and readys them. He runs off, ready for a fight. He is ready to give justice.

Val starts running. He realizes that he can't see the thief very well in this crowd so he needs higher ground. EH looks at a ladder near a tall building. He reaches it and start to climb it. He takes a step at a time. He reaches the roof and gets ready. He looks at the edge and gulps. It is a long fall and if he drops completely, he will die. He looks at the thief and know he is wasting time. He scoots back and charges to jump. He jumps at the next roof and is able to roll safely. He chases the thief through the roofs to finds a better angle. He takes a shortcut to catch up to him. He is finally at least a mile ahead of the hooded figure. He looks at the pole underneath him. He jumps down and slides safely able to see the thief. Val waits behind a rock to surprise him. After a couple of minutes, the thief appears near the rock, sitting on it looking at the jewels. Val knows he has to be silent of he will be caught. He is able to look at the thief's face. It looked like a young teeneger with dark, black lines around his eyes and looks as if he has not eaten anything for days. He is wearing a nice dark brown robe with holder for a dagger. The thief opens the bag. He puts his hand in the bag, trying to find some diamonds. He takes some out and looks at the beautiful pearls and jewelry. He mumbles to himself. Val gets his sword ready to strike. HE slowly stands up behind the person. The thief has not noticed that Val is behind him. Val then says "Gotcha!" and hits the opponent's head so hard he drops to the ground, stunned. Before the thief reacts, he falls to the ground with the jewels in the bag falling in a Thump noise. He withdraws his sword and picks up both the thief and the jewels. Later that day he drops the thief off at the nearest bar and returned the jewels. As a reward, the nice women gave Val a reward. Now Val is close to leaving Reim in order to go to the dungeon.
