It was a cloudless day in the sands surrounding Heliohapt. The sun was directly overhead baking the land and heat shimmers would slightly distort any landmark. Natalia was standing on a particularly tall sand dune looking out towards the distant city-like outline.

Hmm… I could make it back to the city by tomorrow if I hurry but…” Before she could complete her thought her stomach let out a mild groan of discomfort. “I kinda of want some food” She mused as her hair was gently blown by the wind. “Well it’s not like I have any appointments to keep and it’s been a while since I’ve had cactus.” With that thought Natalia checked how much water she had left in her surprisingly large canteen and started to walk in the direction of a relatively close oasis.

Two hours later, the blonde woman had uprooted and carried three large cacti to a location near the oasis. Although the desert heat was unabated she had not lost any water to sweat and her clothes were barely ruffled.  She then proceeded to carefully remove all of the spines from the cactus and placed them into a pile where they were exposed to the sun. This entire process had resulted in numerous spines being lodged in her hands and forearms. As a result she spent the next hour carefully removing the spines so they didn’t break of in her skin.  She added the removed spines tipped with her blood to the pile to dry and proceeded to scan her surroundings for wildflowers.  After picking five satisfactory plants, she proceeded to maneuver nearby rocks into a fire pit.

When the sun had fully set and the moon was starting to rise, she had prepared, boiled, and seasoned enough cacti “squares” for eight full meals. The numerous holes from the spines had closed up without a mark and her stomach was much more content. As someone who could only taste the nutritional quality of food without an actual ability to judge taste food with pleasant textures held a special place in her heart. Boiled cactus was one of them and as a result she had its preparation down to an art form. These particular examples had been seasoned with ground wildflowers which gave them a robust flavor even though the Imuchakk only had the extremely favorable reactions from others. She could measure the boosted nutritional quality which had left her satisfied in the first few bites hours ago. The desert was frigid at this time though this caused no trouble for Natalia. Still there was a large fire on the flat space near the oasis as Natalia had decided that fighting animals for food like cacti squares could damage the squares wasting them. They sky was cloudless and the entire area was basked in the glow of a crescent moon.

If someone was to look from a distance they would see a golden haired woman staring at the moon with a stable fire, a sizable canteen, and a large tied pouch nearby. If someone were to approach she would not move immediately unless called to directly as she was focused on the giant body in the sky.

OOC: Food, water, and a strong fire to warm the area.

Frustrating. Perhaps that was too weak a word? No, more dire than that. Excruciating. This place was excruciating. The incessant blaze of the sun burnt fair skin and made it turn blistering red, if one was unlucky enough to not have any kind of protection. The Moon mocked and laughed at travelers while they passed by, shivering from the immense cold that felt more like an arctic tundra than a desert. And worst of all was this inescapable sand. Sand literally everywhere! No matter which direction you looked, sand was all the eye could see! Sand up your dress, sand in your shoes, sand covering your face, sand scratching at your skin. Boy, sand seemed to be in abundance here. If there was any use for it, Heliohapt could become the strongest nation in the world overnight, thanks to a powerful amount of SAND.

In the middle of this blistering desert, full of dunes that depths that no person without courage and power traveled, was a single person. Well. Perhaps more than just one person, but for now, this story is about only two. One of these people was off gathering some cacti to feast upon. The other was nowhere near so lucky as to have such survival skills.

Xen Li Ren felt her skin scratch and scrape. Flawless, pale skin became burdened with blemishes, scratches, that created minor discolorations of white and red across her formerly flawless skin. Had she not been carrying a fur coat that she used to hide her head during travel, her body would also have been covered in terrible tans that would have made her porcelain skin into something terrible. Tanned, roughened hide that would do her no good after she left the country of Heliohapt. The short girl had moxie though. She had been traveling for days, while being a nonresident of the country, and had somehow made her way through on guts and quick-thinking... As well as a single oasis she'd found in the desert a day ago. She'd crafted a canteen out of plant material(to the best of her ability. Her fingers, covered in prick marks from the cacti she'd tried to use before finding a tree by the oasis, was a testament to her lack of skill), and managed to carry enough water to last herself up until now. There was a slight lilt to her breaths that made them shallow, her flat chest rising and falling in time with the sounds of heavy breathing that overpowered the empty silence of the desert without a single difficulty. The occasional gust of wind billowed through the dunes and whipped up the sands, getting them into the girl's dress, though she managed to push herself through the walls of sand that tested her will and her pain threshold. Her feet, covered in only slightly-pointed shoes, had blistered feet inside of them, tough callouses that marred her normally beautiful appearance, and left her dissatisfied with her trip immensely. Each blister was a reminder that she would need to visit a salon of some kind, with what little money she had, in order to give herself the full package. Filing away the growth of her nails so slight that no man would notice. Filing away the blisters that made each step feel as if it were on knives of hard steel, heated from the sun, instead of sand. Giving her hair, slightly longer than it had been a few weeks ago, a cut so that it was the same short bob it had been going in. Her pores hated this as well. In fact, if not for the fact that she was attempting to find a city in Heliohapt, in order to build up her knowledge of the country, she would never have deigned to allow herself to go through such a grueling, brutish adventure. And since she preferred to not pay with her body to a bunch of bandits whose motives were questionable at best, it was through sheer luck that Xen Li Ren had made it this far.

But luck was running low. Anger powered her through the hatefully-heated hours, combined with the slight distraction of the pain in her feet. Her body was drenched with sweat, and her dress clung tight to her lithe, slender frame. Each movement she made was raw and lacking in the practiced discipline one usually had when traveling. These were harsh, forced movements that drug limbs through sand, that let arms sway to and fro, that let her head lilt forwards slightly, as rivers of saltwater made their mark on the country that was her face. Her body groaned in protest, screamed in desperation, but nothing would stop the girl from escaping this desert. Not even fate itself. Not even a band of bandits or slaves could get her to stop herself now.

As night came, the sweat-slicked figure removed the fur coat that she had covered her head with, and threw it over her shoulders. The buttons were kept in perfect condition, and the soft, black fur enveloped her in an embrace as warm as a mother's love, and nearly twice as appreciated. The gentle caress of beast-fur on her skin kept her from feeling the immense cold as harshly, even as the fur dampened with the leftover sweat on her body. The chill traveled up and down her spine, and yet, the girl didn't stop moving. She refused. There was a limit to her willpower that had long since been reached. Now, there was only blind rage propelling her forwards. An intelligent girl, she had used something traumatic and terrifying to keep herself conscious. Memories of a former life. A former name, burdened her with movement. She could not stop. She was not allowed to stop for even a half-second. Not for a millisecond. If her muscles stopped their ceaseless work, than this decade would have been almost entirely for naught. Teeth grit against each other with enough force to crack, though the young girl managed to keep herself from doing so. Instead, she glared ahead with eyes brimming with hate, at a fire in the distance.

Moving without conscious need, the girl powered forwards, running along the sand and falling forwards, the sand catching under her nails as she continued to crawl her way up the slope without a single hint of stopping. Her eyes were fixated on the source of light and heat, one of the only throughout this entire godforsaken desert. The woman went unnoticed, in favor of the fire, as the young girl stumbled and clawed her way through the sand, into the camp, her body aching and screeching for release from this eternal burden that she bore. Her muscles cried and her bones screeched as the dehydrated girl, on the edge of unconsciousness thanks to dehydration and hunger, made her way into the woman's camp, and managed to bring herself to her feet as she ran. This attempt to self-flatter was quickly dropped, as the woman fell forwards and dropped to the ground, after a stumble that left her unable to move in the slightest, collapsed in front of the fire. Her head was turned slightly, hiding her gorgeous, feminine features from whoever this roaming woman was, and leaving only well-kept(save for the sand) hair and a black coat, as well as the pale skin of an exposed leg, facing Natalia.

The fire was raging, fueled by the dried spines of cacti she had collected before, and strong enough to warms up an area of 5 meters around out it to a cozy temperature. Natalia had been reminiscing about time past when something unexpected happened. As she stared at the luminous arc in the sky her nose picked up a fragrance that she had never encountered before. She turned her head towards the fire and took a few seconds to internalize the change she had noticed in the distance.

Well can’t say this is the first time this has happened” she thought recalling the nine years of “unique” experiences she has had in these sands. The imuchakk walked closer to the mysterious figure and was able to form a fairly accurate mental scenario of what had occurred.“Hmm…that hair quality and leg shape, most likely a female, apparel is wet, top layer of skin most likely sunburned if the leg is representative. That style of clothing also suggests she was not the most prepared for whatever she wanted to do in these sands” The girl thought to herself. Seeing little point in just leaving her guest on the desert sand she immediately began work. Effortlessly flipping the girl on to her back she examined her and her condition. Now talking aloud she said in a slightly bouncy tone “Hi there!  If you came all this way just to see me I’m really happy and if you didn’t I’m still kinda happy because this reminds me of a scene from a story book. Just sit or lay right there and I’ll have you good to go in no time”. Regardless of whether the girl was conscious, the older girl would take off lightly worn poncho setting the girl on top of it and revealing a ridiculously large bust contained in a sleeveless, skin-tight, black top that covered the top quarter of her abdomen.

Standing above the girl her golden hair and miraculous figure that the desert climate could not blemish would be softly illuminated by the moonlight. She would nudge the pouch the contained the still warm cacti squares towards the exhausted body hoping their fragrance of vitality would give allow her to draw some strength. Natalia would then proceed to walk away from the girl and warm fire to acquire the left over “leaves” of one of the wild flowers she had used earlier. She would juice the leaves into a paste like substance slightly out of view until she had roughly a liter of the gooey substance carrying it back to camp in a left over hollow cactus shell.

Having dipped one of her hands into the goop, the blonde woman whimsically motion towards the girl until she was right above said under the silver crescent moon “This might tickle a bit but don’t move. Okay here we go~.” Feeling the circumstance warranted it Natalia would remove most of her guest’s clothing and proceed to vigorously massage the girl with the prepared paste if nothing was done to stop it.
Regardless of how that went Natalia would then sit on the opposite side of the fire and offer to share her supplies welcoming the young girl with smile.

OOC: Goop is made of Aloe Vera and will help with soothing and appearance of skin as well as sun burn wounds. Massage will ease muscle tension. Seasoned cacti squares and plenty of water are readily available.

The fire was warm... It wasn't blazing or terrible, like the sun was, and instead was a gentle bake that heated her up from inside of her fur coat. Her body trembled slightly from the mixture of dehydration, cold, and now heat, that she was experiencing, and she let out a sigh with vibrato. Xen Li was unable to get her body to move. Too long in the desert had caused her to feel as if she were on the verge of death near-constantly. Her movements had long-since died down, and now she remained next to the fire, soaking in its warmth and bathing in its light. The heat was already starting to dry her hair out, thank God. And then it started. Movement. Xen Li could tell, even on the brink of consciousness, that somebody had approached her from behind. Damnit. Bandit? The woman started to think to herself, what to do, what to do... Her staff was buried at her back, since it was too valuable to use as a walking stick. Her eyes became intense and focused, furious-looking, until she was suddenly lifted like a ragdoll. No "kya" came from this girl though. She'd expected something like that. That was the start. Her arms, despite the endless ache, slipped through the sleeves of her fur coat, and grasped at the thing on her back, grasping at her staff on the off-chance that it was a bandit that she couldn't handle with just wit. The girl remained quiet and nigh-motionless, swaying back and forth with the bouncing step of the large... Thing that had picked her up. Unable to see who had picked her up, Xen Li again started to debate whether or not to smash her staff into the skull of the person's head, and attempt to concuss them with a harsh, unforeseen blow. Then, she found that she was laid down onto something a bit soft and faded. The young girl's eyes opened, and her body twitched almost imperceptibly. The girl stared up with an expectant, hate-filled, menacing glare, her lids open, her brows furrowed, and her lips curled into a snarl... Until she realized what was in front of her.

An old lady. The young girl glanced away, taking in a deep breath and letting her head fall to the side. The worst that could happen was having her head exploded with a fist, right? This older woman had even said that she would treat her injuries. Though usually not so trusting, the youth took this in stride. She was atop her staff. Thank the Gods it hadn't broken, and if she needed to, she could harm the woman by firing the Geisha's needles at her. The woman had a large bust and athletic figure, a clear contrast to the young girl who, while almost entirely flat-chested, had a more soft and gentle figure, with gingerly sloping curves and soft skin, instead of hard muscle. Brilliant reddish violets met the gaze of the tall, darker-skinned woman, unflinching and unyielding. That hate-filled expression hadn't faded in the slightest. Instead, there was merely a disturbingly unblinking stare, carefully watching.

Food was offered to the silent young girl, and she glanced at it quietly. It was warm-smelling, but it also had an awful stench to it that she couldn't stand. Or perhaps, she was delirious from the intense heat baking her body. Slowly, the girl pushed at the poncho, her arms trembling as she managed to bring herself upwards, no longer laying on her back. A quivering hand snapped out and snatched up the plant, bringing it to the girl's plush, soft lips. The gates to her mouth parted, revealing a slight gleam in the gentle moonlight, and the fruit was sampled. Even when on the brink of death, a hostess had her dignity, and this would not be sullied at a meal. Slow, quiet bites of the thing were taken, letting the juices of the food rush into her mouth. It might have tasted a little bit like plastic, but it was warm food with enough water inside of it that it satisfied both hunger and thirst at the same time. Unconventional, but that was fine. The young girl tucked away this information in her mind for later, and took in a breath, before casting a sideways glance at the woman who had let her eat.

The older woman was milking flowers. Xen Li raised an eyebrow at her, and continued to eat the single square. Her bites were small, and despite the taste, she chewed slowly and deliberately, as if at a meal with a King. Each of her gestures were simple and small, lacking the grand desperation one would have expected from someone who'd been on the verge of heat stroke just a few moments before. Her teeth, still a pearly-white in color, chewed and gnawed at the food, eating it in reserved silence, while the other woman did something or other that seemed tribal in nature. The Kougirl simply rolled her eyes, and let her legs rest comfortably, in the hopes that by tomorrow, they would be good enough to not only walk on, but run on.

Yet, the older woman seemed to have other plans, as she approached Xen Li. The youth raised an eyebrow challengingly, and then snapped her hand out, grasping the woman's wrist. What the girl lacked in strength, she made up for in vigor and the sharpness of her nails, the untamed keratin biting into the tall woman's skin and attempting to dig into it, firmly teaching the woman a lesson about personal space. "I..." A gentle, sweet voice, not unlike the soft coo of a dove, addressed the older woman, as Xen Li met her gaze with firm, unwavering determination. "You will not touch my clothing. If I need to apply something directly to my skin, then I will do it myself." The girl had the aura of royalty around her: Haughty, arrogant, and unyielding even on the most simple of things. "I do appreciate you helping me, but a hostess must maintain her modesty when in private, even if only on principle." The girl snatched the cactus shell from the woman, and took in a deep breath, before dipping her fingers into the goop.

Strands of the strange, paste-like, amorphous substance dipped between her fingers, and trickled down them like melting ice cream. It was cool and soft in her hands, like liquidy putty, and the girl shrugged off her fur coat, letting the prime material fall to the sand on top of the woman's poncho. Her arms were covered in scratches, and most of her body, save her legs, was surprisingly free of sunburn. Her fingers, dipped gently into the substance, slowly spread it out with elegance and efficiency, each movement an artist's brush stroke, rather than a mere medical procedure. Her movements were drawn out and exaggerated ever-so-slightly, but at a slow enough tempo that even this action seemed like a respectable and time-honored tradition, rather than an attempt to soothe herself. Despite the fact that she was touching burns and scratches and scrapes all along her body, the girl seemed to be incredibly resolved, even as she dug in firmly. Her lips were curved in a gentle, sloping smile that never ceased its kindness, and her gaze was focused on her own body, as the other woman left her to her own medical treatment, and offered her some supplies.

After a few minutes, the young girl had finished applying the paste to every inch of her body, albeit little by little. Most of it had dried thanks to the aridness of the desert, but Xen Li wasn't complaining about it. Finished the ritual-like application, the girl stood herself up. Despite the pain that still traversed her body like a cancer, her lips remained in that gently-sloped smile, and her hands gathered at her waist, as she bowed tenderly to the woman. That same dove-like voice spoke with a cool sense of impartial gratitude, her back not sloping even an inch throughout the bow. "I appreciate your assistance, Madame. My name is Xen Li Ren, and I am on a journey to Heliohapt in order to visit its capital, and make way through. I seek to engage in the hostess trade, as I bring the beauty of the Nadeshiko with me." She spoke while facing the ground, standing on her blisters and bringing her feet together. Eventually, after remaining bowed for a full ten seconds, the young girl stood up. "I apologize if I have offended you, but as a woman and a hostess, I cannot simply show my body at any time. So long as I have my dignity, I can continue to view myself with pride and understanding." She spoke calmly and directly, her hands still in front of her, joined together, with one draping slightly over the other. "I appreciate your offers, but my modesty is among the few possessions I still carry with me... Now then... You have not spoken your name to me." The young girl tilted her head slightly to the side, giving it a cute look, while she made direct and complete eye contact with the larger woman. There was not a hint of jealousy. Not a hint of any emotion besides a cool, calm gratitude, and pride that had burrowed into the young girl's chest. "I would like to know the name of the person who assisted me in such a dire time, as it would allow me to repay you eventually." The girl continued, before stopping, and allowing the woman to speak. Xen Li's gratitude would be demonstrated at a later point, when she'd figured something out to actively show her appreciation while not lowering herself to a mere barbarian of some kind, thoughtlessly engaging in some kind of physical contact with a person whose name and status she was of yet unaware.

Ah I see she is well enough to move” the dark skinned youth thought as five white fangs bit into her skin. She puffed her cheeks a bit as a result of her having her massage rejected rather than the gripas it failed to register as damage in Natalia senses.

The imuchakk, currently seated, would look at the slender figure of the girl as she slowly and methodically applied the ointment to get a better sense of her condition as well as personality. The pale light of the crescent moon elevated her smooth motions which Natalia thought would have given her a transcendental feeling if the inherent mechanicalness didn’t detract from it. She took in all the girl had said with a smile, bobbing her head to the each side occasionally. Locks of her hair slightly obstructed her face as she sat on the opposite side of the flame. Her body was covered from the waist down by her pants which were hiding the full extent of her curvaceous  hourglass figure as well as protecting most of her skin from the desert winds though her unique physiology meant she did not really need protective clothing at all.

Taking note of the girls still posture as she bowed and asked for her name she wondered why a hostess from Kou would make the long and treacherous journey to Heliohapt. She would stand and maintain the eye contact the girl had established as she flicked her large bang upwards fully revealing long full eyelashes, large dark brown eyes, and a tanned, aesthetically gorgeous face. Her shoulders slender and her abdomen showed only the slightest hint of muscle on her frame being toned and feminine in shape at the same time. Flawless skin and perfect symmetry was the norm throughout her entire body and that did not change even in the frigid desert night.

“Hehe… I should remember not to enter the personal space of a lady without permission
” the girl said in a lighthearted tone of voice. “You can call me Azrael; I am a 19 year old world traveler minus the world part. My current goal is to go on an adventure. ” the Imuchakk would say with one hand on her hip and the other hand closed with the thumb pointing to her chest. “Your wellbeing is mostly enough for me. Nice to meet you Xen li Rai… Xin Li Ren…” Natalia would say increasingly wrong names until she uttered “Your wellbeing is enough for me. Nice to meet you …… Xei!” she nodded, satisfied ,before she repeated “Yes nice to meet you Xei.” skipping seven steps in familiarity generally required to give nicknames.
“You’re free to stay as long as you need since the sands treat everyone equally” After remembering her condition compared to hers she would add “I think” to the end of her sentence. ”I am also heading towards heliohapt. I would be really happy if you let me join you when you’re ready leave.“ The girl would say as she leaned closer into her decorated guest personal space haven quicly "forgotten" her previous lesson.”

OOC: If Xen li Ren was well enough or paying close attention she would notice a small bit of black rukh flying away from Natalia when she said Azrael as well as a general absence of the signs of white rukh though she could see some if she tried.

Though a fair pair of eyes met her gaze, the girl did not cease eye contact. Her posture was still, perfect, and measured in order to ensure that it would be as comfortable as possible, while still graceful and gentle. A still flower, that resisted even the strongest breeze. With petals of sheet alabaster that glimmered like a gemstone in the moonlight. Xen Li's eyes were slightly lidded, almost imperceptible, as she ensured the continued eye contact. A strong body was not meant for appearances. Xen Li cared relatively little about the person's figure, but drunk it in as a matter of course. Her eyes flickered over the body and noticed the hourglass figure. While attractive to a vast majority of men in its sensual appeal, Xen Li was unimpressed. A large bust was a gift of the gods, not something obtained through hard work. Though she appreciated the muscle, it was distracting from the curves of her body. The girl aesthetically judged the woman, grading her appearance. Tanned, but muscular. Without blemish, but also almost entirely exposed, with her midriff out. A B+, perhaps. Close to perfection, but without the modesty of a woman, it was as if she were appreciating some rare and foreign beast... Which may have been more correct than Xen Li understood.

"Please ensure that you remember. Gratefulness is no reason to eliminate modesty." The girl chided her older and taller counterpart with a voice almost unnoticeably harsher than her previous voice, her slim and youthful features resisting the urge to pout, and instead remaining in that kind appearance. Her gorgeous, gem-colored eyes peered firmly into the gaze of the woman as she spoke, and her ears took in the sound her mind worked naturally to process such information. "Thank you, Miss Azrael." There was a slight bow, as the young girl spoke of her goals and desires. "Ah. Then you are only a near-half-decade older than myself. You seem to be of a more... Mature appearance." The girl spoke while bringing her hand to her lips, covering her chin and mouth. Her eyes widened slightly, in a mixture of play and jest, though her acting was flawless. "An adventure is something far too much for a young girl such as myself... Though I too am a traveler." The girl removed her hand from her lips, and her eyes closed, drawing attention to her smooth, flawless lips, shining more than the dull light of the stars. She placed her hands in front of her once more, and stared into the woman's face, watching her carefully as she spoke of gratitudes being unnecessary. "Please. I will eventually find a way to repay you that will make up for what you have offered me today. Peacefulness." The girl bowed her head in such a tender manner that it seemed almost wrong for her to be treating another person as such. Though the woman started to call her several names, Xen Li's face did not change. No, her features remained in that warm, calm, collected state, though her mind throbbed with the oncomings of a headache after each set of seconds. Her gaze fixed onto the woman as she finally and deliberately decided on mixing her names. "Xen is sufficient. I will refer to you as Ms. Azrael then. And I will stay for a night in order to rest my muscles, and then will continue towards Heliohapt-" The girl stopped as the woman said that she would follow Xen to Heliohapt. The girl didn't even need to think it over, and instead reached out, and grasped hold of the larger woman's hand... Since she was so close.

"If you wish to travel with me, I would be honored to have you join me, Ms. Azrael." The young girl took both hands in her own, and gave the hand a light squeeze, while she met the gaze of the woman. Her smile was so sweet and kind, that were she a goddess, her smile would calm the ocean during a storm. Her fingernails were kept from puncturing or grasping, and instead caressed the skin over Natalia's hand, as if drawing light circles. Her touch was sweet and warm, an innocent lover's grasp over her more experienced partner's hand. Her eyes were kind-hearted and warm, and the young hostess slowly removed her fingers, not bothering to engage in the art of sensuality with this woman. What happened by habit happened by habit, but what didn't would be held back. Xen Li stood herself up and left the woman. "But for now, I'm afraid that sleep is a necessity." The girl scooped up her fur coat and wrapped it around her body, using her coat as a blanket and laying across the cool sands. Her exhaustion had overtaken her, and she lay down calmly and cooly, her eyes closed, and her breathing steady... Not yet asleep, but nigh-unable to move. She'd kept her staff, and therefore, her magic, hidden from her companion. This would continue to be hidden until the need to use her staff had arisen.

I have a few things to take care of before I rest myself but I’ll be very close by, Sleep tight Xen!” The girl would say as she watched her young acquaintance lie down. Natalia would then take a few moments to internally contemplate the character of the girl she had just met. “A 15 year old hostess traveling through the desert to spread her trade, how … unique. Her body language sends out signals of sensuality a bit too well given her state; her tone and expressions serene, elegant and … calculated. She is either a rare breed of person or makes a point to give of that vibe. Most likely the later given her stated profession and clothing style.” Natalia would infer with the knowledge from days long past, then the remembering the feeling and movement of the girl’s hands on her own she thought “She was probably addressing me with a persona of some sort and going on that ,along with her reaction to being touched, it is possible that her true personality is an irreverent and perhaps manipulative one.” Glancing at the girl  she sighed imperceptibly and thought “I have no qualms with her either way, but she really is young. If both of us began to slumber she would be in quite the predicament.

The area of desert they were camping on was flat and one sleeping without shelter would quickly find themselves buried alive by the windblown sand. She thought that somewhere between the girl being above the and then suffocating under it she would make a cute sand angel but knew her guest would likely prefer to wake up in the morning. Even assuming she tossed and turned shaking off while she slumbered sand this would guarantee a terrible night of sleep robbing her of energy and preventing wounds from healing properly. The fire needed fuel constantly to prevent it from being blown out by winds or just dying out. If it did her coat would not be able to save her from freezing to death in the hours before morning. There was a risk of sandstorms causing them to lose her bearings as well. Then there was the actual trip itself. Assuming the young hostess new the proper routes she would most likely still need safeguards against dehydration and the sun. Natalia needed none of these protections easily able to handle the temperatures as well as retain water. “I wonder what could have caused this lack of foresight. She is either truly is exhausted which is probable, has she has determined she can be more relaxed in my presence… less likely or maybe she’s expecting me to handle it for her, whatever the cause ,in honor of meeting I shall ensure you survive the night” the imuchakk mused internally. “That coat of hers should by me sometime before she is lightly covered, fortunately the wind seems to be slow  and moving in a single direction tonight.” “While it would be nice to see her reaction to being assisted twice, it would be better if I did this quietly. I have more than enough kindling to sustain the fire, there a few plants near the oasis I can use, and”  lifting her slightly stained poncho off the ground “ I can use this can help with the wind breaker.” After she grabbed a cactus shell and her canteen, she would move away from Xen and the fire becoming imperceptible compared to its light and towards the oasis the crackling flames and sand muffling all noise her movements produced.

The oasis looked average from the outside with the diameter of the water being slightly less than 4 meters however if for some reason someone was to dive in they would find that it was surprisingly deep with the lowest point being 25 meters from the surface. Natalia how had observed this in her first encounter would proceed to refill her canteen and create more of the soothing substance from the nearby flora until she had a liter stored in securely in the cactus shell. She would then carefully tie off the space in the poncho that slipped over her skull so that it was sturdy and could be used to transport a large amount of weight. “This is too coarse to be stable for a night.” Natalia said after running her fingers through the sand below her feet. She would then dive into the arctic waters fully clothed with her makeshift sand bucket. Maneuvering underwater with the dexterity and grace only an imuchakk could possess she would scoop roughly a twentieth of a cubic meter of sand into her improvised container before forming a flail like shape with it at the bottom of the water. Then she would use a fair amount of strength to violently beat the bag on the walls and floor of the pool for 30 minutes straight turning the sand inside and around the bag in very fine slit and taking poncho irresponsibility to heights thought impossible. She would open up the severely tattered but intact cloth and stack an equal amount from the surrounding slit. All the vibrations were stopped inches away from her location with the water and sand diffusing them. She would them swim up with a noticeable bit difficulty lifting the cloth from under which has a total mass of 190 kilograms out of the water and on to land. Nearing the upper echelons of her current strength Natalia would carry the full canteen, wet sand, and goop back at a lumbering pace reaching the relatively close destination in 15 minutes.

Somehow setting everything down silently Natalia thought “If I construct the barrier to close to the fire it will dry out and become brittle. I suppose I’ll have to fuel it long range.” Natalia would then construct a thin wind barrier one meter in height and three meters in depth with the wet silt 4 meters away from Xen and the fire protecting both of them from being smothered by sand. She would sit legs crossed on the other side of the barrier donning her newly tattered and soaked apparel. Natalia would throw kindling over the barrier into the fire accurately every 30 minutes keeping watch and fueling the fire at the same time.

Nine hours later Natalia clothes had dried and the sun was starting to rise not sensing any waking movement she had let the fire die thirty minutes ago to help hide her tracks and was now lying with her back on the sand. Though she had not slept at all she legitimately had as much energy as she did when she was uprooting cacti the day prior. If Xen awoke and called for her she would spring up from behind the barrier with a childlike enthusiasm and greet her in a bubbly tone otherwise she would be appear to be drawing in the sand near her.

Xen Li's body was warm, despite the intolerable cold of the desert night. Her eyes managed to close, and her exhausted body, constantly teetering on the verge and held in the realm of consciousness only through the power of a willpower near immeasurable, finally had given in. There was no reason to remain conscious. Even had this bestially-bodied woman managed to tie her up, she could use her magic in order to escape. That was the last conscious thought that the girl had that night, and let herself drift into the realm of dreams. Of nightmares and of fates that were perhaps what had been intended.

A gorgeous woman. Perhaps not sharing a similar body to the imuchakk woman, but instead looking like a slender-figure with ample curves, and a feminine face that could put Queens to shame, let alone the woman and girl who were in the middle of the desert. Gorgeous onyx eyes that motivated men to war over their beauty. Skin that upon touch had only the slightest of springy textures, with a warmth that could break hatred's grip on even the coldest of men. Lips whose curves and smiles could perhaps end war, were they to gaze upon this angelic beauty too long. The slightness of her jawline and the long weave of hair that looked as if it belonged on a Goddess, instead of a lowly slave. She was clad in a form-fitting dress that left just enough to the imagination. Similar to that of Xen Li's, though larger in the front, and with more subdued and subtle patterns. The image of this woman haunted Xen Li this night, as that face of beauty, of unrefined maternity in its warmest of forms, slowly began to dissolve.
The warm voice that spoke loving, tender words to the young girl once became screams of unimaginable pain, as that gorgeous skin was peeled from her body and torn from her bone, leaving nothing but pulsating muscle and vein beneath, shattered bone fragments sticking out and puncturing the muscle. What had been warm eyes that spoke volumes of safety and comfort immediately were gouged, and blood trickled from the sockets, long before the woman's face was torn off of her body. Her movements, graceful and kind before, became panicked and erratic, trying to stop those who were killing her, and who were using her body, stripping her soul bare and igniting something inside of the little girl, too young to even understand the sexual activities being performed to her mother. A flame. A burning, black flame that pulsed like a heartbeat and grew further and further with each horrified second that kept her from being able to lash out in true violence and hatred. Tears spilled down the young Xen Li's face, and her lips quaked uncontrollably.

Yet, despite this strange instance, involving a terrifying and cruel dream, the girl looked as if she weren't even dreaming. Nothing good nor bad showed on her face, and instead, there was only the slightest twitch in her sleep. Eventually, no matter the horrors, one grows accustomed to them. Xen Li couldn't even remember if it had been a decade since she'd started having these nightmares, though the sight of her mother being ripped into shreds and torn apart, body and soul, no longer had any effect on her other than filling her heart and soul with corrupted rage and desire. Vengeance would be had, and the young girl had traveled the world in order to accomplish this. She WOULD obliterate any and all who stood in her way. This was her goal. Her dream. Her primary dream, anyways. Later, she would become a person who would lead a continent where such terrible things would be treated as the horrors they were, and slaves who attempted to escape to it would be executed like the garbage they were.

Many hours later, Xen Li awoke without a start. A simple awareness that the sun was rising in the east and attempting to make the girl filled with hatred once more was the instigator for her return to the conscious world, and so she stood. Her legs were covered with coarse sand, and there was a wet slit of sand that had been laid down while the girl slept. The youthful Kougirl didn't much mind, instead standing herself up and grasping hold of her black fur coat, and lifting it. It had been a good-enough thing to lay down upon, but now was covered in sand. Her hand reached out, and the first thing she did in the morning was brush the sand off of her gorgeous coat, before donning it, despite the heat. Her gaze moved towards the woman whose camp she had invaded the night before, and the girl rolled her eyes. It was like speaking to some child of the wilds. "Ms. Azrael." A cool, detached voice spoke to the imuchakk woman, as the human girl turned around to face her directly. "I believe that we should head to Heliohapt. We won't necessarily be lucky all of the time, so we shouldn't assume that we're going to hit another oasis like this, so I recommend that it would be in our best interest to merely gather some things and continue our trek." Reaching into the back of her dress, Xen Li pulled out her staff. A walking-stick like staff, it seemed to be less designed for magic and the like, as much as to look impressive and regal at first glance. The girl held onto her staff, and then walked over towards the woman, closing the distance between the two of them and staring down at the Imuchakk. "When we get to Heliohapt, I believe that the two of us could enjoy ourselves and make some money. After that, I can pay you back." There was a slight warmth in the exhausted girl's voice, and her exhaustion was held back by her pride, her chest(albeit almost imperceptibly) stuck out as she started to gather some cacti-bits, and stuff her pockets with them, providing herself a food source that would at least allow her to continue for a few days, if she starved herself properly.

Her back was straightened, and her muscles ached, but it would all be worthwhile, were she able to finish her work and make her way into Heliohapt, where she could learn some more unique things about her trade, and the sensuality involved in Heliohapt's culture. Her gaze intensified at that. The thought of improving her skills and making herself more capable as a person, a manipulator, was a true motivation. She held back the devious grin that played at the tips of her lips, and instead took in a deep breath, letting her chest fill out, before closing her eyes. Her breathing slowed down slightly, and she brought herself under control once more. Her legs started with their movement, pushing with dangerously-tense muscles, so tight that her calf muscles were almost visible with each step she took. She looked around, and, eventually, found the heat-distorted outline of a city, in the distance. The young hostess tapped the ground with her staff, and looked over her shoulder. Her lips curled into a warm and almost-loving smile as she made a gesture with her staff, towards the outline. "Let us get moving, Ms. Azrael. I would like to get work as soon as possible, so that I may pay you back properly."

Springing up at the mention of the word fun, Natalia would stand and face her new traveling partner. Her poncho had lost some color compared to the day before but, it was hardly noticeable. “If you’re going to insist on repaying me, help me pick out a new ribbon for my hair when we reach the city “aware of her companions desire to reach Heliohapt. The Imuchakk girl would then collect her canteen and then outstretch her hand which held the sealed pouch containing the liquefied remnants of desert plants towards the younger girl.

Xen,I made this for you before I went to bed last night. It’s the same stuff as before, I was thinking you could use it to protect your pretty skin from further damage.” Regardless of whether it as accepted or not the girl would continue on the full trip to Heliohapt was the foreign girl arriving there at noon of the next day if nothing happened to them.

IC: Natalia has offered Aloe Vera to Xen for her skin. They will have arrived in Heliohapt if nothing delays them such as hostiles.
OCC: I’m curious does Xen know Natalia is an imuchakk or where you just using that as a descriptor?

The young girl blinked in surprise as her new compatriot suddenly snapped upwards and stared at her. Xen Li's brow was slightly quirked, and her lips twitched unnoticeably. She was the younger and smaller one between the two of them, and yet this woman seemed more childish than she was. Xen Li recalled her own personal growth periods, and let her head hang, and slip from side-to-side. No. Age did not constitute maturity. Perhaps this young girl, despite the Black Rukh that surrounded her, did not have a particularly similar story to Xen Li.

The attentive young girl did, however, notice the slightly faded color of the poncho and mentally made a note of keeping the older woman interested in assisting her through the purchase of another poncho. Then she said to help her find something like a ribbon for her hair. "I'm certain that, with time, I will be able to find something that draws out your golden hair perfectly." Xen Li's head tilted to the side as she chuckled at her own statement. Gold went beautifully by itself, but were she to find a white or black ribbon, it would most definitely suit the body. Perhaps a violet color as well, though that would require an entire restructure of Azrael's outfit, in order to use violet as the regal color it was intended to be.

"I appreciate it." Xen Li smiled warmly at the woman, and took the pouch, holding it gingerly between her fingers, and then tucking it into her dress. She had a bit more space now that she was holding her cane, and continued through the desert, towards the city's image, with a spring in her step, and plans bubbling in her mind like lava. So many ideas... So many plans to use. Xen Li, with her back turned from the Imuchakk woman.. Finally gave a more reasonable smile. Malicious gleams in her eyes like those of a cunning Dragon's. Teeth pulled back like the jaws of a shark, ready to snap. Xen Li had terrible and wonderful plans for Heliohapt... And upon arrival, she would, herself, discover something spectacular to do, in order to make money... And gather up her power.

OOC: I'm using Imuchakk as a descriptor. The fact that Natalia has golden hair is a massive throw-off considering the almost ubiquitous blue hair that Imuchakk are known for, and therefore, she has only thus far been lead to believe that Natalia/Azrael is a large-bodied wilds human.

Ok!” The girl would say happy that her new traveling companion had accepted the gooey fruits of her labor. “Well then let’s get going Xen” she would say not noticing Xen malicious smile. She would walk with the girl through the desert occasionally stopping to share water with her companion as well and monitoring her condition. It would take a full day to reach the city though the girls would get there without much difficulty.

When the city bounds were only meters away Natalia would stop and face Xen. “We’re here, welcome to main city of Heliohapt, the “Dessert of the Desert” as I like to call it” she would say chuckling slightly. “Ok maybe I just made that one up but, more importantly is there anything you want to do?” the imuchakk would ask her clothing swaying lightly in the desert wind. “I would like to get something to eat and then take a nice cool bath.

Since they were in the city proper now they were free to explore the actual city Natalia was prepared to continue together in the city, split up for now and meet together later, or go the separate ways entirely.

"Hellooo.Azrael to Xen" Natalia would say as she stared at her companion for a few minutes wondering if she would make a move. After an hour of intense staring passed Natalia had come to the resolution that the small women had fallen asleep standing up. "How inconvenient. Well I'll just move her somewhere safe and find some nourishment for my self." As the Imuchakk was about to touch the young woman she remembered the young lady's reaction the last time she tried. " It would be a bit cruel to leave her to fend for self assuming she's stuck in this state but if she is perfoming some strange form of meditation she won't be to pleased if a move her." the golden haired woman thought as she performed an exagerrated sigh to she if she could get a reaction. "A barrel of laughs this one." Natalia would suddenly pause as she continued her thought train.

"A barrel of laughs."

"A barrel."

"barrel."

Natalia as mind blessed her with a answer her mouth twisted into a childlike grin as the plan would allow her to make a pun for herself.

"Barrels~" the imuchakk would hum as she skipped into the city proper. One hour,32 empty barrels, and some creative stacking later, Xen Li was covered in an empty barrel fortress shielding her from the elements at the edge of the city limits and hiding her from any unsavory individuals.

"I think this stop anyone from bothering you.To be honest I was almost scraping the bottom of the .... Barrel." losing her composure the imuchakk would say " I'll see you around~."

As the Imuchakk broke into childlike laughter she would make her way into the city of Helioapht wondering how much she would have to pay to repair her clothing.
