The Fanalis watched Garret as he counted the coins, appreciative of the gesture rather than having him toss a pouch of gold at her. She hadn’t expected the Kou man to rip her off, but the additional coin he counted out caused her to arch a brow. At least, she thought there had been extra. Perhaps she had lost track of counting along in her head and it really was the proper amount. After receiving payment, she hands over the blade before tucking the coin into one of the inner pockets of her cloak. ”I hope you put that blade to good use.” She comments mildly, an edge of humor to her voice. It wasn’t that she doubted Garret’s display of skill, but as a swords woman she was sincere in her words.
