As the sun began to peak over the horizon, stood Mononku looking out over the water with his spear in hand, yesterday he had gotten an order for twenty fish from a vendor in the market area. He stood there in the early morning air as he began his way down to the water. The water was a little colder than he was used to but he adapted fairly quickly as he stood there in the shallow water up to his thighs waiting. He waited there for ten minutes as the fish began to gather around, and that's when he lashed out his spear skewering a rather large one which he pulled out and took to shore, though this time he had a basket for the fish. He then left that area and repeated the process a couple time until he had already caught five by the time the sun was in the middle of the sky. Mon eventually went a little deeper to see if he could get some larger fish, and he was successful in catching two or so, but the fish seemed to be in a rather short supply lately, 'Probably that shark.' Mon thinks to himself as he walks back into the water. This process continues for another three hours with barley any fish appearing,as he brought his latest catch up to his basket, ' that makes thirteen.' he thought to himself as he began to go back into the water. This time he risked going into deeper water as he was waiting under the water as still as could be the fish began to gather, until they darted away suddenly. Mon felt a feeling of dread wash over him when this happened and immediately began swimming back to shore as fast as possible. Mon was maybe ten meters from shore when he heard the water behind him splash, however he didn't turn around as he kept swimming until he was on dry land once more. That's when he finally turned around to see what happened, there in the water was the triangular shaped dorsal fin of a shark. 'Well that's just peachy now I'm going to have to move my fishing else where for now. As he was grabbing his basket of fish and began to move he heard a splash again an looked back at the monstrous beast that was a little over average for that type of shark, the shark spanned seven meters in length and must of weighed close to 3628kgs. 'That things a monster' Mon thought as he made haste out of that area. After finding a new place about two miles away to fish at he made sure to be more cautious then earlier but he managed to finally catch all the fish without another incident, it only took 4 more hours he thought as he trekked back to the village with the basket of fish i his hands. Arriving back at the village Mon gave the large bucket of fish to the vendor he thanked him, after that Mon just wandered around the village the rest of the day.
