With Yaku's stay under the care of Lady Soushui over, Yakuroro decided to go the rest of his trip back to Magnostadt on foot. The plan was a camping trip of sorts where Yaku would travel through the mountains and sleep under the stars, but as it so happened, he actually came upon a small village. Nestled away among the many peaks and valleys, this village was hardly touched by the empire's influence. It seemed like they were expanding their city and needed lumber. Yakuroro heard about this job as he was enjoying some food at a stand for travelers to gather, rest, and resupply.

He didn't exactly have any appointments back in Magnostadt, so helping out wasn't a problem for the large Imuchakk. "If you need strong men, I've got time to work." Yaku spoke from behind the foreman who was looking for volunteers. The old man had seen his fair share of big men, but the 8'2" tall Yakuroro nearly took a year off the man's life by shocking him. But for as scared as he was, the foreman also gained a large smile as he was sure this giant of a man could get the work done. "Well, the job is to cut down 10 trees." The man said. Yaku looked around at the area they were clearing for the city expansion and then nodded, "You need 40 trees. Got it." Yakuroro said before setting off into the wilderness without so much as an axe to help cut down trees.

The foreman tried to stop Yakuroro before giving up and writing him off as a prankster. But some part of him wanted to believe that the large man would deliver good on his word. After all, they would indeed need 40 trees total, but that was assuming they had one man do all the work! The foreman's hope was not forlorn as the blue magician headed into the wilderness looking for the right group of trees. They needed to be old and have already had many chances to progenate and seed new trees. This meant he had to go deep into the woods of the mountain to old woods that were rarely walked by the likes of man.

There deep in the Jade Mountains, Yakuroro found a nice patch of trees that suited his standards that weren't so old that they wouldn't produce good lumber. The Magician positioned himself so many of the trees were in a straight line ahead of him before swiping his staff through the air and shouting, "Glacial Arc!" A 5m long curved blade of ice was formed behind Yaku's staff as he moved it through the air. Upon completion the blade flew forward cutting through several trees cleanly downing about 43 trees in total. The Imuchakk grinned at his handy work and moved to collect the timber when the sound of a growl caught his attention.

As it turns out, Yakuroro had wandered into the territory of several big cats. The Imuchakk turned to see four tigers all read to pounce at the intruder that had just remodeled the forest that was their home. Yaku didn't want to kill the beasts, but it didn't seem like they were going to give him a choice as one began running at him at a speed of 5m/s. "Flood Domain..." Yakuroro's spell would manifest a large ball of water which he sent flying towards the first tiger that rushed for him. When the ball of swirling water currents picked up the first cat, Yaku moved it farther to the other three cats. When all four had been washed up into the current, Yakuroro pulled the sphere of water back towards himself and jumped into the drink.

Using his Imuchakk swimming speed and their unique whale-like skin, Yakuroro was able to control his movements in the currents where the tigers could not. The underwater warrior tribe's blood in Yakuroro's showed itself as he kicked off the water and crashed one each of the Tigers with a B-tier strength kick to the stomach. The blue magician held back the blow just enough so it wouldn't crush the beast and simply render incapable of holding its breath. That tiger would soon drown if Yakuroro wasn't quick, so he turned and spotted the next stripped feline that was trapped in his swirling water currents. Kicking off the water, Yakuroro propelled himself toward his prey with a fist cocked back. Once he was in range Yakuroro punched the tiger in the shoulder with enough force to send it flying out of his water ball and into a nearby tree breaking its limb but not killing it.

Fearing he might drown one of the tigers, Yakuroro ended his flood domain. The Imuchakk landed on his feet as the sphere of water suddenly stopped its currents and fell in place. Three cats would fall around him and one was already out of commission. "Whip!" Yaku shouted forming a 5m long whip of water. The blue mage snapped the whip to his left and then to his right striking both of the remaining cats while they tried to struggle to their feet out of breath. The damage dealt was minor, but it was enough for the beasts to understand that they were beaten. The two least injured tigers carefully moved away from Yakuroro while watching him. The Imuchakk watched the tigers back as they each grabbed their injured kin before sulking off in defeat.

With the thread removed, all there was left for Yakuroro to do was haul all this lumber back to the village. The giant Imuchakk managed to haul 10 back by himself and marked where the rest could be found on a map before handing it to the foreman and accepting his reward.  The foreman was very grateful and apologized for doubting Yakuroro, but he Imuchakk traveler simply shook his head and assured the man that all was well and that he took no offense. Yaku wouldn't have trusted the world of a random wanderer either...well he would have, but the blue haired mage knew that most normal people wouldn't. Regardless, Yakuroro's job here was done, so he set out for the road to Magnostadt once again.
