Name: Amai Onigaku
Country Affiliation: Kina
Race: Magician
Tier: D
Class: Magician
Age + Birthdate: 16 4/13
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Sapiosexual.
Personality: An easily misunderstood person, Amai lives to create and try to contort and coalesce whatever she believes the norm is. She seeks to understand the world around her, but will also question everything to it's purpose and history and question that as well. Amai also has very little control of her emotions, expressing every bit of joy or rage as if wearing her heart on her sleeve. The only sort of behavior you can count on from this Kinan woman is that her behavior will continue to change, as she incorporates what she learns her experiences into a unique refinement of her personality. Her outlook on life sees the extreme good and the overwhelming evils, flipping between the outlooks on life. She will socialize with people as she deems fit, seemingly a friendly face that belongs in a crowd, but afterwards she may end up becoming a hermit spending time in the mountains by herself. Typically, she will go with an unconventional manner and be very outgoing, but she has also learned the rules and conventions to see the best way as to break them. Amai refuses to shy away from anything, as her sense of fear is suppressed by her curiosity of life.
Likes: Sweets. Amai has an enormous sweet tooth, while she likes other flavors, she prefers something saccharine, such as candy and fruit.
Math. Arithmetic seems to have an infallible nature suitable to unraveling the mysteries of the universe.
Drawing. Unable to read or write for the most part, she is able to quick sketch to communicate.
Dislikes: Repetition. Repetition is a mental trap, like a mental labyrinth and spotting the same landmark twice.
Literacy. A skill that usually takes a lot of diligence and effort to practice. She's functionally illiterate except for major keywords.
Hard work. Anything that requires a lot of effort and grinding and time, is something loathesome to the normally gifted child.
Aspirations: Everything. She will try her hand at any goal, or at least part of it as it suits her mood for the time being. Unfortunately, while Amai might have tons of potential, it is wasted by the amount of directions she seems to go. She is easily affected by the here and now, if she sees animals dying, perhaps she will either organize to collect the furs of such animals in a meticulous manner to create a self-managing company, or she'll politically rally for an anti-poaching movement. Her ideas are plentiful but sometimes she will delight in someone elses aspirations even more than her own... until she feels it's repetitive.
Phobias/fears: Nothing! Except... maybe a promise. To her, a promise is a vow that must be upheld. To her a vow is a fate worse than slavery as one is the prisoner and the jailor of their own fate. She refuses to make any promises. At least, as a slave, she has the option to try to escape, or die, or resentment. She fears being trapped or restrained, and a promise is the worst of all traps.
Face-Claim: Kyou Kai
Hair Color: Black
Eye Color: Black
Height: 157 cm
Weight: 47 kg
Appearance: From the Onigaku clan of Kina, Amai seems to look like your standard Kina citizen, albeit a little more on the slim side. Silky black hair and matching eyes. The slim-figured woman dresses like a priestess, having connection to the Morihana clan, forced to become a priestess to elevate the name of the Onigaku. She dresses in a ceremonial robes, that she somehow managed to dye in her favorite colors that remind her of her favorite candy, a peppermint. She's styled her hair back tied into a single lock. She carries a ceremonial sword for the staff as a symbol of her priesthood.
Rukh Alignment: White
Special Features: None.
History: A girl unwelcome to the clan she was raised in. She had no favor in her clan as she was not a dungeon beast, otherwise known as a Mononoke to the clans of Kina, and her own clan was founded by one. Amai is the halfbreed spawn of one such Jellyfish Mononoke from the Onigaku clan, and magician who was also a priest from another minor clan. There were many good years between them. Her father was overjoyed at how similar they were, and while the mother who was happy to just have a family would take care of both of them. Mononoke only seemed to be safe in Kina, and at the time, everything seemed okay as if having a magician-showing daughter was the best for her safety.

She naturally spent a lot of time with her father whom she resembled. He had made the effort and made some head way and was able to teach her magic as a priest but would have to keep certain things away from their mother as magic was a secret craft only known to the clergy of the nation. During their limited time not training together, they would indulge in moments of learning of botany. Her father seemed to enjoy cataloguing the plant life they saw, describing and testing them in detail, and mostly used pictures, and take little notes on the side. What intrigued Amai so much at first during these botanist excursions were the fruit. She wasn't inspired at all at first, until she had bit her first exotic fruit, developing a taste for sweetness, and it was only afterwards that she only liked fruits for quite sometime, but it was only until her father taught her about peppermint, a mix of watermint and spearmint. She enjoyed the scent a bit, but actually tasting it was almost unpleasant, until her father used some magic to create a candy out of it. It was far sweeter than any sugar-covered fruit, with a unique, refreshing flavor. And it was only then that her curiosity began to spring. She would grab her own books and draw her own thing, exploring the details of every facet of life she could imagine.

Until the latest festival, where the Onigaku were promoted for their efforts with the Morihana creating strife within the family. Home life was fine, she would have dinner with her mother and father, but nearly every day throughout the week, Amai was with her father, and Amai's mother thought it was fine, despite sacrificing a relationship with her own daughter for the most part. But the dynamics of the family began to shift, now within the Onigaku clan there was a sudden rising, and with it an emboldened and resentful mother. Morihana has a sharp decline as well with the loss of one of its leader, and Amai's father went missing and presumed dead.

A daughter trapped and controlled by her mother, for the sake of obligation and spite, but Amai wouldn't have that. She would know freedom once more, leaving Kina and seeing where the world would take her.
