After listening to Old Man Elda's request, Namir was making good time to where the traveler in need had sent him. If these white wolves were as ferocious as some of its native kin on the Dark Continent then the red haired combat beast would have some fun for a chance. He wondered how large of fangs these things had, and if they were much bigger than him. Well there was no need to think over the matter, he’d just have to see for himself in person. The excitement of the hunt had Namir’s heart racing, and so his pace sped up considerably, nimbly trudging through the grass at his full speed.

In the distance, the cliffs that Old man Elda had described to him were coming into view. And surely enough a grove of trees surrounded the area. Approaching the tree line, now in a silent creep, the Fanalis leaped into a nearby tree and proceeded as such toward the cliff pass. It was a narrow cavern roughly 4 meters wide to varying degree. The rocks were worn and looked to have been split by an unnatural force. But a trail cut through them which helped expedite travel through this particular route.

The smell of blood filled Namir’s nose and the sounds of snarling and tearing of flesh could be heard from the echoes of the cavern. Making his way to the top of the 20 foot steep cliff he could see the poor Camel, dead and in pieces as two massive white shaggy furred wolves tore apart its carcass. Survival of the fittest at its best, it was now Namir’s time to prey. He contemplated the best strategy for taking on his prey for they hadn’t noticed him above yet. His eyes peeled at the sheer drop, it was nothing for him to leap down and strike with sheer might, but there were two of them, things might get a little messy if he didn’t separate them.

The idea magically came to his head, he could use his whip. The gist of it was to latch onto one of the wolves and send it flying away, leaving the other open for a full on skyward assault. It was perfect. All that was left was to get closer and rope in his prey. He sidled his way over the cliffside carefully, cautious not to alert the vicious wolves of his approach. He came within 13 or so feet of them, down the cliff face while he unhooked his whip- Cat-Tail –from his waist.

The wolves noticed his presence and peered up at him with growling maws, in that instant with a snap of his wrist he cracked the whip through the air and it stung and wrapped around the nearest wolves leg. Whilst holding onto the wall face, Namir thrust his arm skyward and sent the wolf helplessly along the path the whip now took. The massive white wolf, two times bigger than he was went hurdling helplessly straight upward into the air above Namir and even above the cliffs. It was a magnificent maneuver. Now all that was left was to eliminate the other wolf in one single blow. Easy enough.

So with one wolf now some 15 feet above him, and another 15 or so below, Namir’s plan was an assured success. Or so he thought. He was ready to try another maneuver to pulverize the wolves head into the dirt, likely resulting in a bloody pulp of a mess. He leapt like a lunging cat off of the wall, turned a quick flip through the air and came rocketing downward upon the wolf with startling momentum. He pulled back his fist and swung down hard as the already massive white wolf grew larger and larger in his view. He came crashing down to the solid rock below only to miss his target as the wolf jumped back out of the way. A massive dirt cloud and shards of rock were sent flying like shrapnel at the wolf, pelting it and clouding its vision with dust and debris as it whined in pain.

Through all the confusion and the dust in the air, Namir nearly forgot about the other wolf as he peered skyward to see the large furry creature plummeting from the above. He wasn’t sure if the fall would be enough to take his prey completely out of commission, so he steadied himself, leaned back, and as he met eye to torso with the beast, he struck out with a powerful kick to the large wolf’s ribcage. A deadly cracking noise could be heard and felt resounding through Naimr’s body. The wolf’s body contorted and a short whine barely escaped the sad creatures collapsing lungs. It was sent catapulting thereafter many meters, flying and crashing outside of the cliffs cavern. That was one wolf down.

Catching his breath for a moment and reveling in his success, Namir had forgotten about his other prey. He had let his guard down in the whole adrenaline rush of the moment. Lunging through the thin cloud of dust, the other wolf's claws bore into Namir’s back. Pain seared the Fanalis’ senses, bringing him back to the present and heightening his adrenaline rush even further.

With an angry scowl Namir turned and swiveled on one leg to avoid letting the creature bore deeper into him. He planted his foot and with an abrupt upward motion, brought a kick to the airborne wolf’s gut. The kick had lifted the creature a few feet further into the air leaving its lowered head at about eye level with Namir. He glared at the creature eye to eye in what seemed only milliseconds. It was made clear who was the true animal here. Quickly catching his balance, a wild, frenzied punch burst forth, smacking into the jaw of the beast and sending his body spinning to the ground; a death blow that surely broke the predator’s neck.

After the excitement had died down, Namir slumped to a mere fraction of his sustained fervor and slouched over to catch his breath and hold his wound. Hopefully these beasts wouldn’t be getting back up. He wasn’t sure if he could take on another one without seriously getting injured.

Training Thetmha Nemr (Crashing Tiger) - 509/500
Move Training:
Name: Thetmha Nemr (Crashing Tiger)
Tier: Tier “C”
Cost: 20 Stamina
Class: Offensive
Weapon Type: Bare Hands
Range: Melee
Duration: 1 Post
Cool-Down: 3 Posts
Description: Namir leaps high into the air approximately 15 meters with a maximum range of 10 meters forward as he comes down rocketing to the ground in front of the opponent with a thunderous punch as he smashes into the ground at the speed of 15 m/s. The force of the impact and the forward thrust of his punch smashes the ground to rubble in a 2 meter circle in front of his target, showering debris into them with the force to knock them on their back for C-Tier damage in bruises all over their body. The breaking of bones is highly unlikely, but the dust blown up from this attack can likely temporarily blind a foe.

Magoi/Stamina - 40/80

After surveying the motionless bodies of both wolves, Namir dragged them over next to the mutilated carcass of the dead camel. Luckily the luggage was still intact that Old Man Elda wanted to retrieve. The Fanalis being a hunter pulled out a dagger and began to skin the wolves, as carrying them back would prove difficult along with all the luggage he’d be hoisting back with him.

It didn’t take him long to fully skin the beasts and tie their fur coats to his back. Hopefully the old man wouldn’t be worried about why he was taking so long and think him dead. No matter, he’d make his way back post-haste and lift a burden of worry off the old man’s shoulders. There was a certain warm feeling one got from helping others out. And despite his injuries for his task today, Namir was in the happiest of moods. He carefully grasped all of the luggage in his hands and began his march back to where he had left Old Man Elda behind. Hopefully he was doing okay, Namir thought to himself, not too particularly worried.

He’d make sure to properly dress his wound upon getting back and finding a fresh source of water to clean up. Now all that lie before him was an arduous trek back with his newly acquired heavy burden. Piece of cake.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
