Black... as far as the eye could see. The girl lay there cradled in darkness, feeling nothing. Seeing nothing. Hearing nothing. Nothing but memories of a war long past, a love long and lost, friends now gone. Her hands gripped upon something tighter as the scenes played in her head, like memories in the fog. Hours seemed like days, Minutes like weeks. The encroaching darkness devoured every memory in it's wake. The darkness came ever closer, until... she felt the loving touch of a hand caress her shoulder. Not just one but two. This was the first thing she was able to feel in a long while. Slowly but surely cracks of light had begun to show. It was so bright but soon the darkness simply shattered revealing a field of flowers. She had heard a name call for her, and whipped around fast to see. However before getting a clear look at the face a bright white light blinded her.
Blinking awake the girl felt... groggy. As if she had been asleep for years. Her eyes adjusted to the room lighting seeing the faces of two men she had not seen in a long time. Their faces were as shocked as she was. "D-Dad? G-Grandpa?" All at once Lestacia's emotions had flooded out. She had not seen these men in years. A tearful reunion ensued. Looking more around the room Lestacia could see that she was in her old room in Magnostadt. Her hair had gotten longer, her body aged to that of a young woman. She was shocked after she looked at the mirror in front of her. "H-How long was I out?!" The two men looked at each other nervously. "HOW LONG WAS I OUT!?" The girl shouted, and the on to give in was Lestacia's grandfather. '6...'
"What? Days, Weeks, Months?" Lestacia Frantically spout out.
'Years...' Her grandfather stated. 'But do not worry we kept you well thanks this entire time with the help of your father. He knew a very talented Physician who assisted us in keeping your body in top shape.
Edmunds words had begun to fall on deaf ears as The platinum blonde began processing what the man was saying. So during the 6 years she was out, the entire Kou war had been done. Tears had begun streaming down her face. She had been out this long. What happened to her friends? Had they all died? Had they all forgotten about her? What about Adrastos? Did he cast her aside and think her dead? Snapping back to reality by her growling stomach the girl's Father would set a fresh plate of stew on her lap for the girl to eat.
"Eat up Fire-Fly!" He'd say giving her a slight smile. He had been happy she was awake but knew she'd be wanting to leave as soon as she ate her fill. Lestacia gorged the stew down and asked for seconds before putting on her clothes. Grabbing her weapons, Lestacia would head out after having a coupe hours worth of conversation with her folks. Once more she'd head out the door using her strength magic to fly High over the city of Magnostadt. Magic seemed to come back to her naturally as the rukh flared around the girl as if they were glad to see her awake once more. The girl would land gracefully upon the street below and enter the smithy she landed in front of. She shop had been closed for 6 years however Lestacia switched the lights. They'd flicker to life as the dust riddled Magic shop would reopen for business. She removed the cloths and boards from her shop and switched the sign to open for the first time in years. When was it last a magic tool had been forged in this shop. She had no clue however Lestacia was going to start to make sure she hadn't lost her touch.
