Job Name: Rising Jackal: The Ruin III
Job Rank: D-Tier
Job Location: Heliohapt
Job Reward:3,000 Huang and 50 EXP
Job Prerequisites: Belit
Job Overview: With a large amount of dust spilling out and the dark abyss in front of you. You enter at your own peril inside the long-buried tomb. It seems like fate has smiled upon you as you can read the many inscriptions (if from Heliohapt) and understand that this was once the temple of Jackal God. What awaits inside is yet to greet you, though the skittering of chitin and flapping of wings is like an ill omen.

Passing through the dark corridor and into the light, Belit let out a groan as she rubbed her eyes and let them adjust once more to the change of fully dark into the illuminated room that was before her eyes. The room her eyes saw was grand and beyond words, statues of a man with a jackals head were all around her, vases and pitchers set up as if in a grand hall, and the largest of the statues was surrounded by long decayed flowers and offerings of drink and food.

A bronze brazier was set in front of it on a black marble plinth that reflected light across the room that somehow shone from above, through some opening large enough to bring light, but small enough to not be traversable.

Taking slow steps she was still in awe, the walls were covered in letters and symbols, each one recounting either tales of victory and conquest. Or noting down donations towards this temple and who was buried in its limited but favorable crypt bellow it. It could have been argued if they were lucky or unlucky. Since those that were buried were also the ones that constructed and drew the blueprints for this entire ceremonial and architectural marble of ancient wonder.

The air still somehow smelled of ointments and sandalwood that was surely burned in the depths of the temple. Or maybe in one of the many hanging smokers that would distribute the etheric smoke that the oracles used as a conduit for their powers of clairvoyance to tell the future to those that paid the price for such things. Shaking her head she moved around the room trying to see if there were any visible doors, switches something she could do to get past this room and further into the building. Her eye was caught on the few scripts she could passively read.

The script was old and more ancient, but still bore a resemblance to the current form that was being used. Tracing a hand she silently moved her lips as the words formed in her mind.

"That which wishes to pass shall bring an offer to the guardian afront. Show respect as you pass the resting halls, and no harm shall befall the those found wanting will have their stature reduced by a head."

Fiddling around with what she had left of the meat and some cloth she wrapped it up and brought to the burning brazier and placed it underneath. Doing so made her take a closer look as there was a pressure plate that got pushed in and the large Jackal guardian was moved to the side to reveal a carved in an opening that lead further into the crypt.

This time the paintings and walls were mostly worn out and ruined from the sand which got into the chamber, she could see a few scarab beetles but nothing out of the ordinary. Coming out from the entrance she was faced with a winding path that had statues of the Jackal God, in front of them some statues had their heads cut off and Belit was sure that the trial ahead was a riddle she had to solve.

Looking at the statues she mimicked their pose and continued walking the path towards with her left leg ahead and her right behind. Without much trouble, she passed the traps where skeletons of those more unfortunate and apparently unaware of the script fell. The door in front was covered with scarabs, and as she pushed them aside it opened fully. Riches were right in front of her...
