The Sun and his pale sister hung low in the evening air, casting long shadows upon the empty streets. But there, amidst the clouds darkening the sky, stood the spires of the Hinamoto palace like a lighthouse in stormy seas. While the square lay deserted below, the grand Nagatacho estate - the governmental building of Kina’s Clans - was awash with visitors, both samurai and ronin alike. They mingled freely, this great sea of warriors, their faces covered with intricate masks.
As the relaxed evening intruded upon Night, the great sea of warriors began separating into six streams; one column for each Clan. Marching side-by-side, they ascended through the estate’s many floors. Upon the second floor, they marvelled at the traditional tapestries hanging taut upon the walls. Upon the third floor, they admired its ivory sculptures, made long ago by masters of the craft. Upon the fourth floor, they wondered at the cascading fountains, the silvery moon reflected upon their waters. Ascending its five floors, the estate’s beauty unfurled around them like the first blossoms of a cherry-tree.
Reaching a richly-decorated entranceway upon the fifth floor, the six streams converged into three greater bodies, one for each oaken door; the Morihana with the Kogata, the Hinamoto with the Shikizui, and the Kazeharu with the Toh. Standing before this entranceway, everyone would be requested by name to enter one of three doors: First, Silva and Terao would be invited into the right one, noticing Manami blushing across the room, and accompanied by Emi and Tenma - whose looks would provoke adoration and envy - who would be seated behind Shinsho. Second, Lagi and Eight would enter the left room with Yussef, seated behind the grinning Abe, while Julius and Altan would sit near Higa. Trent and Noir would enter the left room afterwards with Khalik, seated next to Kazuo, behind Ryujin whose brother Samejin was noticeably absent. Menat and Casrare would enter the middle room alongside Ryou, with Tobinaga and Hiroki following soon after, greeted respectfully by Abe and Ichiro.
The Clans were thus separated into three groups, each one entering into different rooms. These rooms all connected onto the larger Denpato Chamber through a sliding screen, but they could neither see nor hear the other rooms. Each room was organised as such; the close family of the Clans took the front row, their vassal lords upon the second row, their esteemed samurai behind them, with affiliated ronin and mercenaries upon the last row. Some of these samurai and ronin stood out; in the right room, they might notice a scarlet-robed lady wearing an eyepatch and a large man cloaked in grey, sporting a red lotus; in the middle room, a dazzling woman covered in exquisite tattoos, a stoic woman wearing a crow-mask and a quiet priest with an eerie smile upon his face; in the right room, a petite woman wearing a butterfly-hairpin and a woman wearing robes emblazoned with a red lotus. A great cast had assembled upon the stage of the Nagatacho estate. Their play was the Summit between the Clans; who would play the villain, and who the hero?
These masks are essentially formal-wear, donned during official meetings such as the Summit. This is a time-honoured tradition dating from centuries ago, the supposed idea being that vassals and their warriors would hide their faces from their lords. These masks depict mythical yokai, such as tengu or orochi, and have been gifted to you by your respective Clan (IC); an example, the Hinamoto’s vassals wear oni masks bearing long horns. Feel free to describe your masks, or provide a picture, as you enter the Nagatacho estate!

Name: The Blind Man’s Sandals
Tier: B Tier
Type: Magic Tool [Sandals]
Magic Type: Ultimate Ninja
Appearance: A pair of simple sandals, laced with braided cotton. However, there is a thin piece of metal upon the underside whereupon lies the magic circle. These sandals are so unassuming that they have been exchanged between many different collectors, who did not realise their true value.
Function:- Tiptoe through the Window - When magoi is poured into the sandals, the user becomes invisible, scentless, and soundless - as long as they are stationary or keep to a slow walk, and do not come within two metres of another person.

- Silva's Makuuchi's Braid:
Name: Braid of the Victorious Makuuchi
Tier: B Tier
Type: Magical Tool [Belt]
Magic Type: Strength
Appearance: A simple belt, made from what seems to be either dark-coloured straw or fine metal - the actual material is unknown - which proudly displays a magic circle upon its fronts. Surprisingly, it seems to adapt to anyone’s waist size by magically elongating or shrinking, which has benefitted the various champions whose bodies it has adorned.
Function:- From Bottom to Top: Pouring magoi into the belt, the user stomps and releases a shockwave of strength magic. Those on the ground within five metres will take B Tier damage from the shockwave. Those on the ground within ten metres will lose their footing from the shockwave. 10 magoi to cast | 5 to sustain
- From Top to Bottom: Pouring magoi into the belt, the user stomps and creates a ripple of strength magic. The ripple expands quickly into a sphere of ten metre radius that deals C Tier damage, knocking backwards those it touches by five metres. 10 magoi to cast | 5 to sustain

- Noir's Blazing Tekko:
Name: Blazing Tekko
Tier: B Tier
Type: Magical Tool [Handguard]
Magic Type: Heat
Appearance: An ornate 15 cm handguard that may be affixed to one’s sword, between its hilt and blade. One side is decorated with red flowers and golden leaves, while a magic circle resides upon the other.
Function:- Die in a Fire: When magoi is poured into it, the handguard will ignite its sword with a raging fire that will deal additional B Tier damage upon hits. This fire will also allow the sword to act like a torch in unlit areas, and the handguard may be taken off its sword to simply act like a portable torch. 10 magoi to cast | 5 to sustain

Name: Scroll of the Higa
Tier: B Tier
Type: Magical Tool [Scroll]
Magic Type: Steam
Appearance: An odd scroll bought by the Kogata, along with two others. If one looks hard enough at the excerpt of poetry written upon the top, a second set of writing can be seen underneath. But it is not formed from any normal letters, but rather some strange glyphs...
Function:- Billowing Cloak: Pouring magoi into the scroll, the user forms a hollow dome of steam of a five metre radius around themselves. The user can see roughly what is outside the dome’s veil, but cannot be seen by those outside. If someone tries to cross the steam veil into the dome, they will take C Tier burns. 10 magoi to cast | 5 to sustain

Function:- Glazed Double: Pouring magoi into the scroll, the user creates two statues looking vaguely like themselves, made from ice. These frozen statues may be placed anywhere within a ten metre radius and have the durability of a C Tier item. However, once a statue is destroyed, it fractures outwards and inflicts C tier shrapnel damage to anyone within two metres. 10 magoi to cast | 5 to sustain

Function:- Tag-Out: When magoi is poured into the binder, the user may procure four six-inch talismans from within. These tags may be thrown or placed upon any surface which, when disturbed, will spark a five meter diameter explosion that deals D Tier damage and gives five metre knockback. 10 magoi to cast | 5 to sustain
- Bomb Voyage: When magoi is poured into the binder, the user may produce a ten-inch talisman that, when placed upon a surface, can be remote-detonated at the user’s direction.
