Job Name: A Little Spoilt Drink
Job Rank: B
Job Location: Mt. Raiji
Job Reward: 200XP | 15,000 Huang
Job Prerequisites: Pledge yourself to the Kogata
Job Overview: A Kogata shinobi has scouted a Kazeharu village, reporting that their local well has supplied their Morihana allies camping nearby with much-needed water. You have to ensure that these Morihana soldiers cannot quench their thirst so easily. You must deal with the Morihana soldiers guarding the village, then choose to poison either the village well or the Morihana camp's canteens.

Morihana Soldiers:

The Kogata clan had offered the five foreigners who had been initiated into the clan special housing with a few servants. They would each have rooms and a personal butler or maid, provided at the Kogata clan's expense. There was an open entrance with several centerpieces such as a chandelier, a painted portrait of the clan leader, several intricate columns supporting a walk way on the second floor, which housed 3 wings, each with a quadrant of rooms and their own living spaces. Beneath the wings were several types of rooms, such as enormous kitchen, a staff room and even more to be explored.

The lodging was luxurious with fine tatami mats, lacquered hand-crafted furniture. A combination of Zounese and Kina decor covered the walls of the mini manor. Eight was relaxing within his quarters, reading a book on insects trying to identify the one he had seen in the plains, thinking if it would be of any use to him. As he flipped through the pages, a knock at the door interrupted his thoughts. Placing the book down, welcoming his guest. His maid opened the door, it was another fanalis woman, this one a bit older than the ones he had known.

Normally bubbly and cheerful, a stark contrast to Eight's demeanor, this time her behavior would mirror his own. "You have a formal emissary waiting for you in the Red Room." The Red Room was a formal dining hall in the manor with a long table. After delivering the message, the maid would bow and excuse herself, running down the stairs that lead up to the walkway, where all the rooms were.

Eight made his way to the red room, and there was a formally-dressed representative who awaited at the far end of the table. Eight beckoned to one of the butlers whispering to him as he sat somewhere of the 8 seat-long table.

"Another meeting? Tell them that i'll be there. "

Lagi said as he looked up from his desk, briefly stopping what he was working on in terms of experimental drugs. Every now and again, Lagi would start to think that his skills shouldn't be dulled and that he should still practice making different kinds of drugs. Due to this, whenever he wasn't doing things for the Kogata clan or enjoying the festivities without wearing his Requiem Jynx mask like he is now, he was doing work for the Dark Hand. Lagi was still the leader of his own organization, as well as being responsible for an entirely different race. This meant that his hands were full at the most inopportune times, but that didn't mean that he was going to back out on helping eight. If there was one thing that Lagi wanted to make as clear as day and powerful, it was his word. If Lagi made a promise or said that he was going to accomplish something, he wanted the power of his word to be a strong bargaining chip for others. It meant that his resolve on fulfilling any sort of deal that he made was unmatched when he put his mind to it. However, there are times that he would need to lie or stall. Lying is something that he would use sparingly because it would be just as powerful as telling the truth when it came down to it. Nobody would know the difference if they were being deceived, and unfortunately, that was one of the most effective ways of being successful.

"Consider it done, Lord Jynx."

As the messenger went away, Lagi started to slowly pack up and put his research away. He was already dressed and didn't need too much of his gear when it came to heading over to a meeting. The tools and his weapon were enough, Orie was enough. As long as he had those things, he considered himself to be tough to beat, and that was only if the Kogata clan one day started to think that they could pull and fast one and kill all of the outsiders as soon as they did the dirty work for them to take over the rest of the Kina clans.

"I'm sure they wouldn't be that stupid to ruin a powerful resource and relationship. But so far, we have no guarantees....."

Later on, Lagi arrived at the secure meeting place while wearing his Requiem Jynx mask. He was directed to something that was called the red room, where eight was already present with a formally dressed individual. Not feeling the need to have to introduce himself since he was wearing his trademark mask, Lagi decided to sit in one of the chairs patiently before hearing what this man had to say. In the meantime, he kept an eye out to see if the others were going to show up anytime soon. Or, it could be just him and eight that were called.

“Hmph…” Dalia sat with her arms crossed with one leg over the other on the back of the young Kogata Ninjawho was only a few years older then her. The boy sighed looking a bit annoyed as he laid on his stomach resting his chin on his arms letting the young girl sit on him.

“Is my back not comfortable Ms. Dalia?” He asked trying to still sound respectful despite the little he had for her currently.

“It doesn’t suck… I’m thinking.” She said with a grumble.

“That’s relieving I suppose…” He muttered to himself glancing back to her the best he could. “May I inquire about what?”

Dalia groaned. “If you neeeeed to know and butt in, I’m trying to find ways to impress 8, my butt wipe of a teacher… if you can even call him that.” She muttered the last part looking off. “He hasn’t taught me squat yet. He’s just focusing on that other girl.” She said tapping her finger on her forearm with the arm that was over her other keeping them firmly crossed. “He shakes her hand, smiles at her and everything. But does he do that to me? No! And he hasn’t even kidnapped her or tortured her or anything! Not even one family member killed and he does more for her.”

The boys eyes went wide hearing this staring back at her with careful eyes before gently asking. “Ms Dalia… do you need-”

“I’m fine… I chose to run with him… I know it’s dumb but… I don’t know” She grunted out getting up letting the boy up. “I’ll figure it out later. Stay here unless you need food or something… I need to go to something butt wipe has planned and I don’t want him breaking more of my things for something stupid like making me follow orders rather then just asking.” She said with a huff waving the young man away. Daichi despite clearly not liking her had in fact treated her well despite how she treated him… and some times in their few interactions since he was given to her by the clan seemed genuinely concerned for her… so in return she would try to avoid getting him too badly hurt or killed.

She made her way towards the fancy house that her group was placed in upon finishing their missions. One that she actively chose not to be in outside of food and talking with the others about missions. She honestly didn’t like the idea of being inside the house to stay. Staying in a house for a long period of time was boring and never led to anything good. She’d rather sleep outside like she always had. Even if there wasn’t the chatter of her family around anymore. The stars and wildlife was more than enough to keep her company. That and the butler annoyed her and treated her like a child. She already had 2 babysitters she didn't want, she didn't need a 3rd.

She walked up to the house with a sneer, this normally would be a jackpot but now that she's not in a raiding party all she could think of was how  they were the jackpot for someone else to try and raid and dream sweet dreams of making them cry and burning their whole house down. If there was  a profession to burn down an entire village besides bandit that she could do she’d so go after it in a heart beat… Fire your temptress of destruction. She walked into the house looking about. Where was 8? Didn’t he have a thing for them? Or was that just in her head hoping there was something to do given how booooored she was.

One of the maids rushed but skidding to a stop spotting Dalia before telling her of a meeting 8 was in  though before she would say if Dalia was invited or even wanted there yed she just made a b line to the meeting room and made her way in shooting 8 a look that he’d firmly knew that meant ‘I’m bored, find me something to do soon, or I’LL find something myself.’ She then made her way to the corner of the room slightly shifting her head looking to Lagi which was a s close to a wave or greeting in a friendly manner she currently was going to do. She then sat down in the corner with her legs criss crossed and arms crossed not wanting to sit in one of those fancy chairs and waited for something to happen.

The redhead would feel very awkward with all of this... services she received in Kogata manor, all this personal maid assigned to assist her with everything she needed felt suffocating... it was as if they were placed beside her to observe what she was doing. Not to mention this big room she was using all by herself, it didn't feel warm at all like how a bedroom should be, it felt... big... cold...and again, suffocating. Altan always thought that maybe if she had her own room, a big one, it would feel really nice and comfortable, but she was wrong, it was not as nice as she imagined. She would rather sleep inside the tent with other people, she would rather find it was hard to roll your body or even to move a little bit as you lay down so you wouldn't wake the other sleeping beside her because it was so crowded.... But what was wrong with her... she was usually composed, she wouldn't be thinking too much like this. However her head kept trying to bring her back, reminding her to how nice it would be if she stayed with her clan, spending time with the clan members and do a lot of things together with the others. It was as if her own mind wanted to frustrate her with the longing feeling... as if something bad would happen.

"You seemed down, Miss Bey." The maid would approach the redhead, "Would you like to drink a warm tea? It might be helpful to calm yourself down."

Altan would look at the maid, wondering if she should just listen to the maid and drink some tea to calm herself down, but she was being too cautious about a lot of things right now. "No..." The Fanalis shook her head, declining the maid's good intention, "Thank you for offering."

The maid would nod quietly before stepping back, giving Altan more space for her personal bubble before excusing herself to leave the room. The Fanalis would then take a deep breath, slowly trying to calm herself down, making her heart to pump blood less faster. Perhaps she was experiencing a quarter life crisis... perhaps... well, that was the most logical reason on why she was so frustrated at homesick. Or... could it be that her period was close and that was the cause of her being super sensitive and negative. Altan sighed before she put both of her arms up, stretching them before putting them down and let another sigh escaped from her lips again.

Soon, Altan would look at the door after hearing knocking sounds, she would give permission for the maid to come in. "Miss Altan, please head to the Red Room. I will escort you."

'The time has come again...' The Fanalis thought to herself before she stook up and followed the maid, didn't bother to look around the manor's decoration, her eyes would only focusing on what was laying in front of her. As she arrived to the room, Altan would see a peculiar individuals who dressed formally...sitting on the chairs along with Eight, Lagi and Dalia. The redhead wondered if it was that formally dressed individuals who called them all to have a meeting... or was it Eight, who seemed to act like the leader of the group. She would sit anywhere, didn't have any particular spot that she wanted to choose and she would wait...

Julius
The Kogata had taken in Julius and his two little friends, one a female magician he was currently training in lightning magic, the other one of the shinobi he had grown accustomed to. The three of them were going over some plans he had finished in Reim. While the young woman with him might not have felt the same way Julius did about the world she did agree that her brother would have never gone missing if not for the way Kina operated. The Shinobi with him however agreed that greed was cancer within the humans and that perhaps the world Julius preached to them would be better. Still, he had his doubts as did the young woman.

"Still, hurting the people of Reim to hurt the government? Do you not think that it is a bit much?  I understand your logic behind your actions but some of them are just trying to live. "

The shinobi would speak his heart which was important to Julius, after all, he would not force them to take part in his plan. The young woman who was so innocent cared deeply about returning her brother however this seemed a tad much for her.

"I agree, don't you think that there is perhaps another way to reform the world without bringing a country to a deadly state? "

Julius reached for his stave as he stood to his feet. They simply did not understand.
"Any ideas of the old world would simply reappear without a mass reset. Doing for one's self is what got the world in this sickening state. If the people acted for each other, grew together build for each other, and shared all then the world would be a joyful one. Instead, we have things like ploys for power.  Look at your home of Kina, or Kou as a country. All three of us native to the lands of Kou, yet so separate.  Kou has bounced from war to war while Kina's clans for years seemed to have switched parties and allies to have some levels of power.   While this might seem normal if the clans were united under one flag and lived as one truly without hate then they could become greater than most areas in Kou's borders.  The fact that they seem to be edging towards battle over such a small region of the country over ideals so ancient the ones who started it have died out.  The Country of Reim is no different, sure they switched from a Kingship to a Republic but they have failed their people. They kill and fight for sport! The people pay to see others killed or harmed for entertainment and joy.  There is no reasoning with those with power, as those who gain it are destined to use it more and more to benefit them simply because they can. The Greed of money and power consumes them in full until others suffer barely able to eat or even have a place to sleep while others toss out food that could be used to feed starving children. Due to the lack of income for these people, what other choice do they have but to turn to crime to try and survive? The world I created will be one of equal gain and equal work.  No one is hungry, no one is rich.  "

Taking a moment to let his words sink into his companion's minds, they would be interrupted by a knock on the door.

"Julius, you have been summoned for a briefing.

Looking to the door his crimson hues would stare as if he would wish the man to die from this side of the door hoping his head would burst and fill the flood with the juices of the body.  When there was no thud Julius sighed.

"Of course, I'll be right there. "

Gathering his hat and coat Julius looked back towards the young woman.
"Go over that book on lightning magic again. When I come back I expect you to be able to have a new spell in mind
Looking over to the shinobi Julius just smiled.
"I wonder what they have us do this time. This clan is by far the most gruesome I'm sure they want to have someone else killed.  Act accordingly until I meet up with you tomorrow.

With that said, Julius would exit his room closing the door behind him before going to the meeting room.  Once there he took his seat and nodded a hello to his fellow outsiders. He couldn't wait to see what they had planned this time around.

A nod of the emissary's head signaled to the servants of the castle. They knew their tasks instantly, a single butler and maid on each side of the shinobi went around the room and stopped at each window to close the black, lacquered shutters. With a sharp snap at closing of each window, they left the room at the end. After the doors closed behind, a large thud could be heard through the doors, likely sealing the door behind them.

The shinobis arms were crossed as he spoke from his chest, behind the face covering. "First, I must thank you for all your help. Kina has a history of refusing foreigners, Kogata falling in line with those decisions. But now that the High Priest has suggested that we open our borders, we took full advantage of the fact. Thanks to the five of you, Kogata Daimyo has more power to leverage than ever before, with our knowledge and the power between all of you. Unfortunately, the other clans have allied themselves. The Shogun, Hinamoto clan, the ruling clan with many secrets, is allied to the Shikizui, a noble clan of samurai, who stay noble to the shogun. Each of these clans have a single foreigner to their aid.  Then we have a three clan allegiance between the Morihana, the Kazeharu and the Toh. Reports show the Toh and Kazeharu were unsuccessful in obtaining any outside support, however Morihana seems to pose a threat, having the support of a few foreigners. Morihana could challenge us as a Daimyo and perhaps our path to becoming the shogun of Kina, we cannot let that happen. "

"This is why I have called you all here. We must defeat the Hinamoto clan to possess the position of Shogun. There is some flexibility in how we will go about it. We have spotted some Morihana guards resting in a Kazeharu village. Morihana being our biggest threat, we ask that you attack them now, but discreetly via poison. If the Kazeharu suffer alongside the Morihana, it might prove beneficial for us."
There was a pause as the shinobi questioned the orders from above. "But I fear if we forsake all alliances, we might become the target of the other five clans. Feel free to discuss it. The Kogata clan will trust in your decisions in this matter. Please handle this for us."

With that he threw a smoke bomb to the floor, hiding his silhouette behind the cover. Eight was stunned and impressed at first, interested in learning these shinobi arts, only to hear knocking behind him. The emissary knocking at the door to be let out, shamelessly not even looking back. The grinding of wood could be heard on the other side, doors opening for freedom. The servants went around to open the windows then excusing himself.

Eight had a growing uneasy feeling about the situation within Kina. There was too much focus on the incoming powers that came. It was as if they were pawns to be used by the clans. Was he simply being overcautious? It mattered not, even if he was to be a scapegoat, he would be using the clans for his own purposes as well. "Well, after having a few secrets divulged to us, what are you guys thinking we should do? I think this is a priority, but I will be doing some investigating after this. I think we can really accomplish something. Making the Kogata the unparalleled Shogun of the country, and the only clan we have to topple for that is the Hinamoto. Generally speaking, we could create a 5 clan alliance against them, making it easier for the Kogata to rule in the future as well. Leading by fear seems to never work." Eight ruminated the thoughts and began to work out the details of a 5 clan coalition. Leading to the least amount of bloodshed and strife, but they would need to crack a few eggs to make an omelette.

In the meantime, Lagi was sitting back in the chair as he senses the people who walked in. Thankfully, the Kogata member wasn't doing any kind of ninja things and having people try to hide their presence, even though he knew that he would be able to sense them anyway. What they didn't know was that Lagi could sense them through Orie. It was a well-kept secret, it wasn't as if Lagi would go around and tell people all of his tricks. If you give away too much, it would only be a matter of time before they start to think that they can take you for a ride.

"Dalia is here..."

Lagi said with the nod to the girl. She was pretty interesting in the sense of how insane she was. That firecracker seemed like a handful to Lagi, he kind of wondered how eight was handling her from time to time. However, on the other hand, she was still young. Lagi figured that as Dalia grows older, she would either get worse or start to mature. Luckily for him, he would be able to see her growth to the end due to not aging. PArt of him wonders how she would turn out.

The next person that arrived was the rather mysterious archer that goes by the name of Altan. He had no idea who this woman was from a hole in the wall, but she was being receptive to what Lagi was selling in regards to this alliance, leading him to truly believe that there is something to gain from her being associated with this merry band of misfits. Upon her arrival, Lagi would greet her all the same.

"Altan is here..."

Well, he would greet them the same as he was doing since he arrived at the meeting. But there was one black sheep that Lagi didn't know too much about or very little to have a standard opinion about the guy. It was the magician named Julius, an unknown factor in this group. Lagi kind of didn't know what Julius had to gain with this association. Information is power and there was strength in numbers, that was something that could always be explored when it came to working with the Kogata group. However, he couldn't help but feel that a man such as Julius didn't have an ambition that was easily definable by one's own greed.

"Julius is here...... and that makes all of us."

Upon the arrival of everyone in the team, the small meeting was able to begin. He received rather useful information that the other clan was trying to get good outside help but failed. One of those clans, the morihanna clan, had managed to succeed and stands as a threat. There was also the fear of not being able to survive if they forsook all of the other clans. Eight had the idea of uniting the other clans, with Lagi being rather indifferent.

"Not to step all over your ambition. but the only thing that I care for eight is your dream being realized and the undisputed victory of the Kogata clan in order to make that happen. If the unification is necessary for the fall of the hinamoto clan, so be it. We isolate them and have the morihanna clan be on the defensive. I have a concoction that can be used to poison them, I'll whip up the cocktail and put it in their canteens. We would need killing to be done, Dalia and Altan can help with that. I also need insignia's of the Kazeharu clan to be left on the bodies without a shadow of a doubt to indicate they are responsible. Then maybe the bodies should be hidden but easy to find if one looked. However, the last part can be used for more chaos, manipulating the dead bodies of the morihanna group member in a distance to attack civilian members of the Kazeharu clan. The remaining insignia can insinuate one of their clan members countered, which is why the symbols were on them in the first place. This can cause an internal power struggle within the fragile union."

Lagi then let the other people think about it.

"For the record, this does sound like a plan Eight would think of, but for this to be perfect, we all would need to do what we are good at and utilize our individual talents to its full potential. When this happens, as usual, it becomes rather foolproof with what we are able to accomplish. Even though the other clans may have the help of their own, it doesn't matter to us. As usual, we will remain, and continue to remain, undefeated in the war of attrition in regards to the other clans. They will have no choice but to join the Kogata. "

Dalia nodded back to Lagi as he did so to her, he understood what she liked in plans so she didn’t mind him, he was the reason she got to see any form of blood shed lately in these plans it seemed. Dalia eyed Altan as she entered and humphed a bit, of course the other newbies were coming too. She supposed they had to inform the new people what was going on before she, 8 , and the fly man went off to do what they wanted to do. It still annoyed her a bit thinking the entire group now included the other new people now who would permanently thin out the sharinging of kills more, and also take away more of 8’s attention from her… not like she cared though. And then came the magic man shortly after who sat with the others, dalia keeping her spot on the floor nice and warm still reducing to sit with the others at the table.

She watches as everything was closed and they were closed in as the servants left before the head guy started going on and on and oooooooon about them being friendless or something? She wasn’t really paying attention and was more waiting for the mission to be said so she could start thinking of kill techniques. Destroy an opposing clan! Now that was fun-! And he had a fancy plan about… why not just cutting off the limbs or their guards and beating to death the civilians with said limbs? It would be far more entertaining! ‘Discreetly with poison’ what kinds of pansy- The smoke bomb was set loose making her cough a bit waving the smoke away. “Why can’t he use the door like a normal butt wipe!” She grumbled out.

Then hearing the knock at the door blinking. “What was the point in smoke then?!” She shouted with a twitching eyebrow. “We could move in before they know our faces appearing to be new allies given the obvious fact that each clan is accepting nee applicants to their stupid parties. We could start with the one with no outsiders since they after seeing the development and progression of the other clans would likely be wanting some of that for themselves while still being suspicious greed could probably over power the stench of questions."

"We all wait until each clan gives us a mission that would take us out of their lands and split into sections evenly across each of the clans claiming those of us in each clan were left behind for some reason from our groups. We then simultaneously poison all of their food supplies and water supplies with a slow acting poison if we want to make threats and demands or a fast acting one if we just want them all out of the way at once. If we do this to all of them at once it could prevent all of them coming at us at once when they finally realize our existence is hostile. Then we take the remaining survivors who are willing to work with us to see what we can do and then give the rest to me who wants to play nice so I can have some fun finally.”

She said simply with closed eyes itching the inside of her ear with her pinky. “Mother always did say when targeting a large flame one must close off all access to its air and it will slowly snuff itself out eating away at all the remaining air.” She said with a shrug opening one of her eyes. “Alternatively though I prefer beating the clan members with the limbs of their guardsmen till they die but from past experience you all for some reason prefer complicated plans that are the least amount of ‘killing’ or ‘bloody’” She said doing some air quotes showing her disapproval of that angle. 8 and Lagi had their own plans though so she just sat and waited for her parts of the plan knowing that no matter what way it would be one of their plans that would be picked.

That wasn't her being cynical she just knew that as a fact of life in the group. She raised a brow when he said she could help with the poison part. “How can I help with that?” She asked, confused. “I know pretty pansy girl over there could likely help a lot with that with batting her eyes and stuff but I don’t see how I could do that part of the plan.” They two though seemed really keen on the unifying blahah blahahah blahahahah boring. What ever so long as she gotta stab or bite something by the end of the day she didn’t care.

'Morihana seems like the biggest threat for Kogata for now since they have several foreigners help, huh... Interesting.' Altan listened to what the shinobi said tentatively, trying to understand every valuable information delivered towards them. She thought that those alliance among the other clan would be a little bit annoying, considering that their armies might be 2 or 3 times larger than normal. Perhaps playing dirty would be a little bit necessary, especially to cause a stir between those clans with their alliance pact, messing with them, putting blames to each other and eventually, destroying them from the inside. There would be no need to directly taint their hands with blood if they could do that, but she had to listen more to the information delivered by the shinobi first.

'Basically they want to destroy Hinamoto to get the Shogun position... but they also want to make sure that the other clan would not have the resource to prevent the Kogata in achieving their goals...' The redhead made a conclusion inside her head, wondering if all of this things might cause a civil war within Kina in the future... well, they never knew. But the archer was kind of afraid that it might be inevitable, not only that, this wouldnt be 2 sides fighting each other, it would be... 6 clans, fighting each other or maybe more if they count this lesser clans as well.

That smoke bomb was a little bit too much though for Altan's taste and she could only raise an eyebrow upon seeing the shinobi little trick to made his exit, although it was done in a clumsy way... but she couldn't really judge because it might not be an easy thing to do anyways.

All of them would start discussing about what they should do and apparently Eight wanted it to be 5 clans to be allied and they would fight together against Hinamoto. Altan did have a question about it though, how will he try to convince those 5 to be allied and actually go against Hinamoto? There was a lot of what if question inside Altan's head, like what if one of the clan betrayed them and decided to work with those Hinamoto, probably not just one but maybe two. As for Lagi, she was not surprised to hear that he could create a poisonous concoction, and the way he explained his strategy was admirable as well, it was as if he had done this often.

"I can do it." She would reply to Lagi when he mentioned she should do half of the killing part, but she would be a little bit worried about Dalia. Well, Altan didn't mind working together with that little girl. However the younger girl seemed agitated by her presence and the redhead was kind of worried that it would affect the mission... hopefully not though, it would be a pain in the ass if things got ruined just because of a simple dislikes.

It was small at first the hints of it he meant. The hints of the war that was soon to come. First, it was capturing a spy than to free the Kogata's Sinobi spies that were captured. They all lead to this, killing members of another clan. Julius had no issue with any of this, his plan was the same and his time here only proved his assumption about the Kogata and al of Kina.   Once the shinobi was done with his speech Eight and the other went on about plans and whatnot. Eight seemed to want to unit the clans, to Julius this was foolish as long as you kept them under their own banners. It would be best to wipe many of them out and make them forge a new clan under his name. Julius was against it in full as now he had enough information about the clan to finalize his choice of if they would burn or not.

"I think we outsiders are being set up, though.." He'd pause as he would stand up. Julius would make his way towards the painting behind him looking it over and enjoying the brilliant design and choice of colors. "While each of us in this room uses the Kogata Clan I would hope I'm not the only one who sees that we too are being used if not for anything but the fact we are outsiders.  I mean, have you not seen the magical items other clans have or some the shinobi here? Are we to truly think that there isn't anyone within the Clan who can handle these tasks? I mean seriously, I'm supposed to think we are the best choice for a mission of infiltration? Forgive me for judging you all but none of you are as naturally graceful as some of these warriors of the clans.

Turning back around his crimson hues would stare right towards the man known as Jynx.  The black ruhk did seem to love this man, what horrors he must have gone through to talk so simple about poisons and using them.  He'd go silent hearing the bloodthirsty Fanalis speak her peace. The poor child was simply a tool for destruction with no value outside of that. She seemed uneasy about working with the other fanails woman Perhaps she had feelings for one of the other men in the room and she felt them both being Fanalis would be an issue for her?

Jynx's plan covered everything but a role for Julius and Eight.   "I see you wish to play this game further. Julius did not let the young girls comment about them being here for hostile reasons go unnoticed either. Perhaps Eight, Jynx, and Dalia had some sort of plan he did not know of.  For now, he'd have to play the game too.   "I guess it can't be helped then.  If you think I have something to manipulate bodies I do not, all I can do is heal and make a few bugs appear. Problems of being self-taught."[/clolor]

Julius was of course lying but he did so with a warm smile as both his eyes closed and his head tilted for a moment.  His body would start to move towards the door stopping when he reached where Jynx and Eight sat pausing for a moment as he looked towards them. "Perhaps when this is done we can enjoy the festival without the mask?" Julius would chuckle as he tapped his stave onto the ground. Until then I guess now that we have a plan we should gather whatever we need and head out unless there is anything else..." His eyes would shift to a more serious look as did his face waiting to see if there was going to be anything else..

The plan was fine for what they had to accomplish, now there was the task of leaving the evidence of Kazeharu and actually administrating the poison to the canteens of the Morihana soldiers. Fortunately, Jynx was here to support Eight. Altan seemed to be quite flexible with whatever the team of black rukh threw her way. Dalia perhaps was to eager to shut them out, if she was in control, Kogata would be the kings of corpses and ruins. Death was the destruction of value.

Eight listened to his teammates, and they were all thinking. The slaver has some respect for all these people, possibly the only people. However Julius made a particularly interesting comment, possibly the thoughts that most closely mirrored his own. "Heh... heheh." Eight had to hold in his laughter  and catch his breath. "You are right. We are being set up like pawns. But in an even match, a pawn can make the difference and if they make the right moves, they can turn into a queen  the most powerful piece on the board."

Standing up, the slaver glanced at his allies once more. "I will gather our main force, I will need at least tonight to prepare." Eight would leave their meeting first, returning to his room.

Eight would spend the night away from Team Black Rukh. He gathered info on the village and the guards. There wasn't much to do with this information but for a stealth mission with little skill. He asked Naruto to gather him some stuff and information about the weather.

As night fell, his shinobi Naruto had brought some deodorizer, chloroform and some native birds in cages as well as a cage of crickets. "The seers say there will also be rain in two nights time." Eight nodded and asked Naruto to deliver messages to his allies, that the plans would be delayed by one night, and as Naruto left for the rest of the Kogata honorees, Eight would 'recruit' some Kazeharu members to the cause against Morihana.

In the dead of night, right before witching hour, Eight snuck into one of the eastern most Kazeharu villages, lined by a forest, making it one of the most solitary targets, a k a, a perfect target with no reinforcements. Eight would take his time, looking at each of the houses, looking for hints to families and not combat proficient households. He would drug his targets with chloroform and then chain and gag them, dragging them outside, getting about a dozen of them. The night of these victims would only have started, turning to slaves through pain, humiliation, threats, the death and threat of death of loved ones.

The night of the event, there were 6 kazeharu slaves of Eight, with vials of poison from Jynx, all they had to do was go in as sneakily as possible and get out or suicide. Fortunately, it was raining and they were sprinkled in a white powder that completely masked their scent, then by releasing the birds and crickets, their sounds made it easier to cover the tracks of the weary kazeharu. Among the Kazeharu, one was being powered by the magical function of Eight's Demon blade. The animation magic-possessed corpse, serving as a reminder to the others of what could happen, and as various, weak, untrained villagers, they were much more inclined to follow along instead of face Eight.

With the conclusion of the plan, Lagi got up from his seat and proceeded to exit the room.

"It'll be ready on the night of the mission."

There were a lot of differentiating opinions in regards to how they should approach the whole clan war fiasco, but Lagi was rather simplistic in regards to its execution. With the poisons that Lagi had, what he wanted to do was make a solution that would delay the effects of the poison so that it wouldn't be too immediate. Due to the fact that he was a Drug Lord that contained a vast knowledge of herbs and things of that nature, it wasn't too hard for Lagi to whip something up with the things that he had on hand.

"Ok, so for the most part, I just need to delay the trigger so it happens some other time or even a couple of hours later. The main ingredient for this is Mellow Chervil......"

The first thing that Lagi did was take three teaspoons of Mellow Chervil and squashed it with his hands and put the remains into a cup. He then reached for some Knot rosemary to stabilize the effects of the Mellow chervil in order for the delaying effects to last too long. There was a method to the madness of prolonging the activation, no one would really know where those people would be or what they would be doing during that time.

"Ok, two sprinkles of...Knot Rosemary. "

He added the sprinkles rather quickly into the cup and started to mix it together.

"All that's left is one tablespoon of river spearmint and for it to sit in pure spring water with the majority of the mixture. After that, heated up for about an hour...."

With the delaying solution being completed, Lagi set off to do his part of the job. Utilizing silent killing and scaling it to an A-Tier undetected rate, he snuck around the camp while the others handled the killing and distraction as a result of it. The following was applied to each of the canteens, along with the delaying solution. For viper's fang, Lagi scaled Viper's fang and increased the lethal dosage to deal b rank internal damage. Widow's bite was used and scaled twice in order to cause blindness for a long period of twice. Lastly, Scorpion's sting was used and scaled once for four limbs to be paralyzed in total. This mixture cocktail would be deadly, and once the poison triggered, if the damage didn't get them, the unfortunate circumstances of being paralyzed and blind would.

After finishing, Lagi would sneak back out of the camp.

"Look's like my parts finished."

Dalia’s brow twitched when it seemed only really 8 listening to her idea but seeming to just let it pass in the air like a wet fart from a nobleman due to not wanting to upset them by bringing up the thing. Why was she even shocked to see that? She grumbled and leaned back closing her eyes letting the others talk and converse. Eventually Julius spoke up about his own concerns “I don’t need grace, I got force and strength.” She said flatly at Juilice’s comment but opened one eye to look at him. “I agree though. Lead the outsiders to think they are musically using each other to lead them to believe the clan is unable to do their dirty work properly themselves so they hire outsiders."

"This way they have believable deniability if one of their attacking plans fails. Oh they killed all your stupid troops well we didn’t order that as a peace offering you can kill them as an apology. We pay the cost so they don't have to while their troops aren't in danger due to outsiders taking out their trash. We’d be stupid not to believe that was a possibility. But even worse if we still didn't get out as much as possible from this situation before it goes south.”
she said simply. Dalia stuck up her nose at Julius then said his problems of being self taught. So what if he was self taught, no one could teach you creativity if he couldn't use his to come up with abilities with his own limitations in mind that were on him.

She didn’t like the excuse though still. His warm smile bothered her, she knew part of it was his dumb stupid face but the other part she couldn’t put her thumb on it… she didn’t like that one bit. She didn’t hide her looks of distrust towards the man growing in her expression. She wanted him to know she didn’t trust him to take his smile at stupid face value. She looked to Altan though and if she saw the uncertainty with working with her she’d grown. “I’m not a baby, I don’t like you but that won’t affect my work. I’m doing this for 8, not cause I want to work with you or help the stupid clan. Weither I like you or not will change nothing on my proformance so stop being stupid and worrying about workign with me.”

She said flatly. With apparently the original plan in place Dalia shoved herself away from the wall. “You take the lead on this one Altan.” Seems her concerns of her own skills with the plan were ignored for what she was asked to do but it was her assigned task. She never bothered with poisons all too much. They are boring and impersonal. Useful but when used like this just boring and stupid. “Let’s just get this one over with.” She huffed walking out of the room looking to be in more of a bad mood then usual but also a bit disappointed.

“So why are you telling me this?” Daichi asked leaning against the base of the tree ash he stood on the tree’s branch with crossed arms looking down to the sitting Dalia below.

“Cause it’s your job to listen to every word I say okay? do b’t be stupid and take it the wrong way.” She said simply as Daichi watched her a bit and crouched down.

“Why are you telling me the sensitive details…?” He asked quietly.

“Because I can. You work for me now, and thus for our group… that and the job is to better your people, it's in your interest to not go against us or our plan okay…?” She said with a growl. He held up his hands in defense and crouched there silently for a bit as she started to the ground a bit before speaking up once more. “Get some rest and meet me here tomorrow afternoon… I wish to train and practice some new things I’ve been planning… I need your assistance in several parts of it… Also with any free time when she's about please watch Altan. I wish to know why 8 likes her so much better then me… and when she's not here please run to Kou and look into their criminal underground parts of their people who look weak and like loose ends.” Daichi rose a brow to her then. “Just do it okay?” He haid up his hands in surrender.

“Hey I’ll do it… I just wasn’t expecting that from you Dal… first time you’ve actually asked me to do some real work with you... “ Dalia looked up to him, locking eyes for a bit before he nodded to her and smiled softly. “I got it, promise.” Dalia nodded back to him.

“Good…” She said watching him for a few more moments, they didn’t like each other but he listened… that’s all she needed from him right now. She then looked forward at the setting sun. It was time to go. “I’ll be back when the job is done… don’t die. That’s an order idiot.” She said firmly walking off to meet the others. It was a night late but it was finally here.

When the time came dial made her way to her spot to meet up with Altan and nodded to her with a scrunched up nose that screamed she still wasn’t a fan of her part of this whole plan and wasn’t really feeling like being there. She though motioned for Altan to take the lead to show she was serious before when she decided she wanted Altan to lead given what the task was in this mission.

"It is to be expected though, Sir magician. We are hoping something from Kogata, possibly using them for our own gain as well in any ways and it it understandable if they are using us as well. It is mutual..." Altan would give her response to Julius, making it as her first time to really speak what was in her mind. Well, it was not like she always followed the words of other blindly, she just... happened to agree with the ideas and plans so far and didn't think it she needed to say more.

It also seemed that Eight and Lagi had something to do to prepare for the sabotage mission, Altan would call it a day for now as she waited for the whole team to gather up when they were ready to go. However it seemed Dalia had something to say to her... so the redhead decided to stay for a bit. "I dont have any problem to work with you... Dalia." The Fanalis put a different tone as she mentioned the girl's name, although it sounded more like she was just calling Dalia's name with a clearer tone. "If you are doing this for Eight, then please try to stop lashing out on me. We have the same goal at the moment and I don't plan to ruin the team's... well if i can actually call it a team, however, yeah, I dont plan to mess up in this team." The archer would pause for several second, observing Dalia's reaction. "Aye, Dalia. Let's get this one over with, quickly."

Perhaps it would be the time to use her other bow... she didn't plan to use it any sooner though, but the redhead just thought that now would be a perfect time... Well, she didn't really have any reason though, she was just trying to stick with her old bow as long as she could, but her other bow was much stronger... and it got magic infused within it as well. With a deep breath, the redhead would swap her Monkh to her Topaz Bow before she got ready for the mission.

'Amazing...' The redhead thought to herself, the white powder masked their scent, she might ask about this powder thing later after they were done with the mission... and the rain would also be beneficial for them, it was as if the God was favoring them. Dalia would also meet up with Altan, nodding towards the archer with her usual...silly face. But Altan would nod back towards the girl, whispering that she would take 3 of the soldiers first, then Dalia could just attack her preys while Altan watched her back.

Right after Lagi finished with his own task, Altan would not waste any more time. She would prepare her topaz bow before taking an arrow, quickly shooting an arrow towards one of Morihana's soldier and took one enemy dowm. It seemed she couldn't underestimate her enemy, the soldiers attacked back with their further shot, shooting the arrows towards the redhead. She would activate the crystal rain skill, conjuring 4 crystal shards that would stop one of the arrow as she shot another arrow to parry with the second incoming arrow. 'Alright...' She murmured to herself before using her arrow shot skill after scaling it twice with more strength. It would deal B-tier damage towards the other enemy and took another one down. Altan would also sustain her crystal rain skill to attack another soldier though, leaving only 3 more soldiers left.

It seemed like almost everyone in the room had agreed with a part of what he stated about the clans and the outsiders. The young Fanalis seemed to think that him being self-taught was an excuse for a lack of his spell but in truth, it was he a hard time coming by books and knowing the possible outcomes with magic. So far he had only medical and science to go off of.  It was also funny that a Fanalis was speaking on Magic as if she could even fathom how the ruhk worked.  Instead of going back and forth with the young woman Julius would hear her out and nod his head keeping his smile even though she was showing signs of distaste for it.  How he would love to let loose his Eating of Flesh spell out and show her just how wrong she was, though he was the outsider here. They seemed to have been a group before his arrival.  It was clear, Eight was the brains, Jynx the power, and the two Fanalis were well the muscle.  Where did that put him though? Well, he was the wild card.  Not to say he could go into all roles as he truly did not know these people but he could likely do as much as all of them besides Jynx, the power he showed in the last mission was not an added cost of energy it was real power.

"You don't have to like me, but you should learn to speak respectfully to people, more so your elders.  Though you likely come from the god awful Country of Reim, those lot have no class. They're nothing more than a host for the Ruhk.

The other read haired woman spoke up soon too, she was vastly different from the other fanalis girl. Julius would enjoy that dynamic, they were like salt a sugar. Looked alike enough but had two different texture and purposes.   When all was said and done he returned to his room to Hana.

Like he had instructed she had been hard at work on her magic casting and was able to form the small but efficient zap of lightning from her wand.   "How did it go, Julius?"

His crimson hues looked into her own eyes locking in on them. His smile fading as he removed his hat and coat setting it on the side. "About am well as expected.   They have taken my warning though seem to either not care as its mutual gain or hiding their plans.  They could be a problem if the Kogata is the ones holding your brother.  For now, I'll keep being the Unknow member. Currently, we are set to attack tomorrow we shall see how that goes. "

The night ended and a letter was found under his door, it seemed Eight needed another day of prep time. This did not matter to Julius. When the time came the team would move out, the rain would remove the noise when they walked on the grass, the birds did their part and the bugs, the bugs would be odd to Julius. He wasn't sure if these crickets were the best of ideas but it was what they had.
The ranger of the group and Julius were on the killing detail it seemed, Julius would gather his magoi while commanding the ruhk and spoke his spell out load.

"Wicket Worm beast

Pure magic emits from the caster's stave as it pours onto the surface on the wand. As the Magic consumes it, it would pull from it many microorganisms and combine them into a single being of horror. This beast would be a worm-like creature that travels underground. It lays about 1.5 meters long and .5meters wide. Its mouth is dressed with 12 teeth, 6 on top 6 on the bottom. The creature eats the dirt as it travels for D tier speeds and its bite deals C tier damage. The worm may not move further than 15 meters from the caster. The worm last 2 posts before needing to be sustained or the spells ends. The worm can take up to C tier damage before being dispelled

Julius wouldScale the ability 5 times paying an additional 50 magoi to summon a total of 6 beasts.
"Go my beast and attack your prey! He would command with a serious tone.  The archer of the group had taken out all but three, and they were alert now for incoming attack however his pets traveled underground making it nearly impossible for most to see it coming. From underground, the creatures would appear two per target.  They would rise from the ground biting down into the enemy archers.   They would be taken out without knowing what happened.

The next step was making sure to remove the evidence they were even here. Using his beast he would remove the arrows fired from the Red-haired woman and warriors they had killed. Julius would replace the red-haired woman's arrows with the enemy's. It would look like they turned on each other.

Julius had taken note of Eight's feats as well as Jynx's. They could be possibly allies or enemies he needed to study them closer.
