1 The End of Yoshirou [Mini-Event] on 01/04/18, 11:51 am

At the beginning of this blasted civil war, Yoshirou knew that there was always the chance that his father would best him. That his forces would be opposed by something stronger and more fierce; that he would lose. It would seem that day had, unfortunately, came upon him, but the emperor could never expect it to arrive like this.

He could hardly believe his eyes when frantic guards raced into the war-room. They blabbered of a large mass of never-before-seen soldiers marching upon their capital. The most surprising thing: they carried no banners of Gao's troops. The news forced the inexperienced king to his feet as he rushed to see the terrible foe before him. And oh, did he see.

A telescope revealed to the man that yes, their enemy was certainly not of Gaos. Nor were they human. An army of primates, ones that he had never even heard of, closed in on all sides of his magnificent city. Their defenses could do nothing as they breached their walls, their guards the equal of twigs swallowed up in a tornado of furry fury.

Smoke spiraled upwards as panic run amock. Screaming, both human and primal, filled the air as their invaders rampaged through the streets. Homes, businesses, everything was subjugated to their anger. The people fled through the streets in desperate attempts to escape the monkeys, their feet leading them desperately to his palace in hopes of surviving the massacre.

The mighty Kou empire was to fall not to Gao, but to silverbacks and baboons.

[Note: Yoshirou will appreciate any help in subsidizing these enemies. Even Gao soldiers for they will be the next targets if he falls.]

Smoke pillars covered the sky like iron bars, Eight could finally tune in to the suppressed clamor. He recognized it as the screams of the families of Kou. Even the terrain beneath his feet began to tremble as if producing a trembling fear that resonated from the Earth itself. Had Gao launched a sneak attack on Yoshiro's palace, here in the capital?

Alexander could already picture the armies at the front gate, razing everything in their path. Killing children, burning homes and salting the crops, because everyone imagined Gao as a ruthless man, who would do anything to win. The Fanalis had to get a better view of the situation so he could plan his escape.

Using his speed and strength, he bounded himself onto a pair of stacked barrels behind a home and then from their climbed his way to the roof. Resting an arm on the chimney, squinting to get the best sight he could see. Even if he could see all the details, there were some definite things strange about this. There was no military fanfare, banners or the order. The army that was marching forward was in complete disarray and armorless as far as he could tell since nothing was gleaming with sunlight... Honestly, it just seemed like a bunch of apes, but the destruction they were causing was quite real. Alexander saw the people running for their lives... and even motionless bodies in the army's wake. It was time to escape, he didn't have the means to fight back in this scenario. Alex glanced around the city perimeter to see which way would be safest to take.

Alexander would find himself in need of escaping the roof quickly. The "smaller" of the troops quickly swung themselves onto the tops of buildings, jumping between each one in order to transverse through the city quicker. The ground wasn't much safer either as the invaders rushed through alleyways and streets.

There was only one clear "path" the Fanalis would be able to see - towards the palace. There was no indication if their enemies had circled around them, but that left only another option - facing the mass of fur and anger. Perhaps Eight would trust himself capable of going against them, but even the city guards found themselves struggling.

These "soldiers" moved at incredible speeds - some of them even rivaling those of the strongest Fanalis. Their strength too was nearly unmatched. The larger of them were capable of ripping up chunks of buildings (even entire walls) and throwing them forwards. There was another weird aspect to the invaders - some of their heights was easily larger than the stout buildings. There was no doubt that they would be incredible but challenging foes.

Enemy Name: Main Force
Enemy Tier: ??
Damage Required to Defeat: ??
Description: An army of primates of all sizes and species. There are silverbacks, gorillas, baboons, and more. They each look intimidating in their own right, but due to their intensive rage, they focus more on the destruction of the capital than actively targeting the humans.

Never had the flames of war been accompanied by the chilling sound that rang in the ears of Kou’s citizens. Thinking on the sound by itself, it was not exactly what one would call ‘chilling’, it was merely the grunting of some vaguely irritated monkeys, but the potential comedic value of the situation was wasted on the terrified people who were running from a quite real threat. Wasted on most, for there were those who were suffering quite a fit of laughter despite the circumstances, one such of them being a certain Fanalis captain who had happened to be doing business at the behest of his employer, a purple-haired woman who had helped with evacuations during this sudden onslaught.

Rufus was now perched on the tallest spire in the town centre, the remainders of a smile fading from his face as he attempted to take things seriously while he rained down arrows upon the primate horde that was wreaking havoc upon the marketplace beneath him. He had aided those fleeing by setting up traps in the alleyways, and hoped that might buy time for Zubaidah to flee or do whatever she must - it does not help one’s pocket if their primary source of income was dead and unable to pay the necessary income. And so, in order to warn her of the proximity of the incoming wave of apes, he tied a message to his arrow with all necessary information, including coordinates, and fired it straight forwards with all the strength he could muster from his laughter-wearied limbs towards the palace for Zubaidah to receive. He grinned as he saw it soar across the sky, thoughts of the strange situation they were in filling his mind, and questions about whether Zubaidah would be able to escape the apes who were closing in on the palace.

The red-headed boy a top the roof had been taking steps back filled with fear, the populations reaction was contagious. There a certain smell to the panic. Finally, his heel felt the edge of the roof top, forced to make a choice with the little information he had available. Alexander had next to no combat experience whatsoever, and while his Fanalis strength was formidable, he had no technique and he could witness that even the guards of the capital were falling to even the vanguard of the Monkey Army.

He sucked on his teeth "thchip," - and took the only choice he felt he had, to hole up in the most fortified place and possibly help out, perhaps they weren't even fully aware. He could share the little information he had with them, about the two types of forces. Unfortunately, his taming skills weren't up to par to handle and help out in a situation like this.

The smaller monkeys were already closing in on his location, so he pivoted and leapt to the next rooftop going at his full fanalis speed after a few seconds. His running was smooth, but the shingles on the roofs would give way, sliding down the roof occasionally. As he continued his stride, everything seemed to be okay. Timing every jump, the adrenaline keeping him focused with the palace directly in sight.

"WOAAAH," Completely focused on the palace, he didn't notice the footing on his intended jump spot from one roof to the next was completely unstable. The shingle slipped under his foot, cutting the distance of his jump in half. Alexander reached with his hands but he wasn't even close. He rolled as he landed, taking a few spins before tumbling to his feet. His mind was racing, he still had to get to the palace and getting back up would take too long.

He dusted himself off and ignored the minor scrapes for now, beginning to run down the alleys in the general direction of the palace, looking up when there was a clearing to help orient himself. But the direct path was blocked off, he made a right in the corridors, attempting to head to a main road towards the palace,

Looking off into the distance whilst atop a moving caravel, it would seem as if a city of Yoshiro's was in a time of distress, being invaded. Yet, by who was this city being attacked by? Trently didn't really get a good view of the attackers. Staring at the invasion as it was happening, Trently decided to take action. Immediately, upon sight of these creatures, Trently hopped out of the caravan. Running over to the invaders, hoping to get a better look at them. "Did I see that right!? Am I really seeing apes!? I think I am!" Trently exclaimed as he got a better view of the invaders. "For a second I thought those were soldiers of Gao, yet it seems I'm wrong! How in the hell are apes invading a city!? Is this the work of magic!? I need to find out for myself!" The warrior said to himself, thinking out loud. Rushing to the city's aid, even if a city under the banner of Yoshirou, Trently would help the innocent.

"Arashi Denki~!" Trently yelled, flicking his shuriken down twice, activating its ability. "This is insane! These apes have gone bananas!" Flying above the city on his magic carpet, it was time for him to get to work. Lowering down his magic carpet to about 15m above ground level, the boy began to attack. Shooting rains of lightning at the Main Force, Trently would make sure of it to not accidentally attack any innocent bystanders. However, there was no for certain that Trently would succeed at not hurting a few innocent here and there as it was somewhat of a given.

Anyway, after raining down the sparks of lightning, that was all for Trently, for now at least. Proceeding to fly back up into the sky, Trently was going to look for other targets besides the Main Force. Since many of the Main Force was among innocent bystanders, the boy had to be mindful.

Weapons and Tools:

Meinu [Magic Weapon]:

Name: Meinu
Tier: B-Tier
Type: Sword
Magic Type: Light
Appearance: An ivory sword with black accents and adorned with precious crimson stones. The hilt is 16cm in length with decorative tassels hanging from it. The blade itself is made entirely out of steel, reaching out 73cm past the guard.
Function:

  • Shine Bright - Feeding magoi into this sword will create a glimmer of light that travels up and down the blade rapidly, giving the blade a "vibrating" visual effect that could potentially throw their enemies off guard. They are then able to release the light within the blade, creating a 5m "solar flare" around them. If anyone within this "solar flare" has their eyes open, including the user, they will be completely blinded for a very short period of time. After the blindness fades away, the affected people will then have to deal with extremely blurry vision for the next 3 posts.

Universal Sheath [Magic Item]:

Name: Universal Sheathe
Tier: A-Tier
Type: Magic Item - Sheathe
Magic Type: Strength
Appearance: Normally a 75 cm long, 10 cm wide sheathe with aesthetics reminiscent of Kou style. This sheathe probably belonged to a regular soldier of the Kou Empire who ventured too far, but now the sheathe has been altered by the dungeon's power. The strangest aspect of this sheathe, aside from the magic, is the inside; it looks like a whole universe is encased within the sheathe.
Function:

  • One Size - If the user tries to sheathe any weapon into this sheathe, the sheathe will contract, shift, and warp its shape, size, and form in order to perfectly fit the weapon. Removing the weapon from the sheathe will revert the sheathe to its original shape, size, and form. No cost.

  • Fits All - If the sheathe is not in use and the user feed magoi into the void sheathe, then a powerful vacuum is created inside the sheathe. The vacuum force is in the shape of a 5m wide fan up to 1m in front of the sheath. Anything that weighs less than paper will get sucked into the sheathe, never to be seen again. No matter the size of the objects getting sucked in, the sheathe will compensate. This is generally useless against physical attacks with mass due to the weight limit, but is very effective against intangible attacks such as flames or gases. 10 Magoi to activate | 5 Magoi to sustain.

Flying Carpet [Magic Item]:

Item Name: Flying Carpet
Tier: A
Type: Magic Item
Description:
A magical flying carpet that allows the user to soar through the sky. It measures 2 meters in width, 3 in length, and about 20cm in terms of thickness, making it quite flexible.
Function:

  • This magical carpet gives a 25% word count reduction on traveling topics.
  • The carpet can fly at great speeds equivalent to an A-tier flight spell, up to a height of 60 meters. The carpet can hold up to 5 people at a time before being weighed down. This function is free in social situations but costs magoi to be used in combat or when under attack. 10 magoi to activate | 5 to sustain.

Kut's Katana [Magic Weapon]:

Name: Kut's Katana
Tier: A-Tier
Type: Magic Weapon - Sword
Magic Type: Razor (Wind + Strength)
Appearance: This 100 cm long katana once belonged to Kutter, an adventurer from Kou who lost to against Caim's traps. The body of the adventurer was swallowed up, but the sword remained, absorbing the magoi of the dungeon and eventually gaining powerful magic. With a 75 cm blade length, 1.5 cm blade thickness, 25 cm handle length, and a 15 cm guard diameter, this sword is indeed as beautiful as it is sharp.
Function:

  • Subatomic Slice - The user feeds magoi into the sword using two hands, causing the sword to coat its blade in an immeasurably sharp razor edge. The next slash of the blade will send a flying edge of razor magic up to 20m through the air severing things with A-Tier damage. Things cut with razor magic are unable to be put back together again regardless of healing spells used on them for a minimum of 3 posts. 10 Magoi to activate | 5 Magoi to sustain.

Shuriken of Storms [Magic Weapon]:

Name: Shuriken of Storms
Tier: A
Type: Weapon | Throwing
Magic Type: Storm [ Wind + Lightning ]
Cost: 10 magoi to activate | 5 to sustain
Appearance: This shuriken is approximately .5 meters across and the magic circle is inscribed on the blue gem in the center of the blades. The blades appear to have streaks of lightning through them.
Function:

  • Stormfall - When the user throws the shuriken after feeding it magoi, it causes a 2m diameter disc of storm magic to spread from its center. The shuriken will stop above the target and the disc of storm clouds will glow brightly for a brief moment. The space directly beneath the shuriken is then struck with a giant lightning bolt capable of covering the entire 2m diameter. Anything caught by the bolt is dealt B-tier damage and electrical paralysis that lasts for one posts. The range of this attack is 10m.
  • Tempest Zone - The user activates this function by keeping the shuriken held in their hand with its center placed against their palm. Feeding magoi into the tool with that condition met causes thick storm clouds to form around the user. The clouds grow to cover a 10m diameter spreading throughout the area blocking the vision of anything within the area unless they are at least 1m away from each other. The electricity within the storm cloud detects the electromagnetic fields of living beings and informs the caster of their location.

Flora Rose [Magic Item]:

Name: Flora Rose
Tier: D-Tier
Type: Magic Item - Necklace
Magic Type: Life
Appearance: A rose encased in a special gelatin to keep it preserved forever. The magic circle is within the gel substance.
Function:

  • Healing Pulse - When fed magoi, the rose will glow light purple and emit a 1m pulse around the wearer, healing D-Tier damage to anyone within that 1m. - 10 Magoi to activate | 5 Magoi to sustain.

Atarashi Kishi Ude [Magic Item]:

Name: Atarashi Kishi Ude
Tier: A-Tier
Type: Magic Item - Artificial Arm
Magic Type: Strength
Cost: 10 magoi to activate | 5 magoi to sustain
Appearance: A standard prosthetic arm, made up of 100% pure titanium. The arm seems to adjust it’s size and weight to fit any user. The magic circle is directly on top of the hand, and will glow a faint black color when fed magoi.
Function:

  • Force - By feeding magoi into the arm, the user is then granted a powerful form of telekinesis; via strength magic. The telekinesis allows for simple radial movement but lacks the accuracy to perform any complicated tasks. Any inanimate object they may have touched within their last post becomes eligible to be controlled by them. As long as the object is within exactly 40-meters of the user, they are able to control it freely, moving it anywhere within the set range. If the object is to go past the set range, the user will lose complete control over it.
  • Handy - As long as the user has at least 20 magoi left in the current thread, this magic tool will work as a fully functional arm. If the user is below the 20 magoi threshold, the arm will no longer function until their magoi is restored. Additionally, this arm is capable of applying A-Tier basic damage equivalent to A-Tier enhanced strength. This arm does not feel pain, but will take damage like any other item would.

The ground rumbled beneath the life Magicians feet as she walked the streets of Kou. There was a problem arising, a big one. One she had not seen coming. They were being attacked by apes? The APEx predator species. Lestacia had no prior knowledge or information of the beasts but it seemed as if they attacked indiscriminately. Luckily she didn't have to alert those nearby as she was relatively close to the palace and guards scrambled in place to engage them. Grasping tightly onto her Deep Edge she took a deep breath taking a deep breath and exhaling for focus. She'd point her Wand towards the enemy and cast a spell. "Reveria!"

Almost upon Command the hand would swipe at the monkeys charging into the city. It would swat them against a building however more would simply come and charge right past her. She'd Channel Magoi in her wand extending it's range as salt water formed the blade. She'd prepare  herself once more for the oncoming wave She'd jump over an ape charging at her and cut down the Nape of it's neck. While she landed she'd slice and dice through the smaller monkeys as best she could dancing with her salt water sword, however it wasn't enough! She was getting pushed back!
She decided to make a full retreat towards the palace. There she would have back up however she would need to buy time for them to prepare. However she herself didn't have that same time, she'd rethink about it when she arrived at the palace. Stabbing her staff into the ground she'd cast seedling transport. A seed immediately enveloped around her and dug under ground heading towards the Palace.
To her it didn't matter whether she was friend or foe. All that mattered was saving kou because what would she be fighting for if there wasn't a Kou to save?

@Zuzu Mansur

The hoard of primates did not take kindly to twigs battering their backs. An alpha took it upon himself to deal with the annoying human in order to make it quit. The male, who was a terrifying 15m tall gorilla who went by the name Rollo, booked it towards the spiral tower. His massive strides left behind craters as primates before him cleared a path.

It was obvious that to any onlooker that the ape was aiming for the human archer. He roared as he charged forwards, saliva flying out of its open mouth.

The smaller monkeys spotted the blur of red that jumped ahead of them. With happy screeching squeals of excitement, they immediately began to give chase. However, the primates were not entirely focused on the actual race. They jumped around, swinging happily as their hollering filled the air.

But despite their frank tom-foolery, they continued to make grounds against Eight. The Fanalis's slip up allowed them to make up for lost distance, briskly catching up. The bouncing beasts followed suit after Eight, their antics increasing the closer they got.

At the dead-stop that would force Eight to the right, the head monkey suddenly lunged forwards. It nabbed him around the waist, tucking into a roll. Its horrid breath stank in the Fanalis' face as the monkey, politely named Mr. Duck, gnashed its teeth at the red hair. Windy fingers poked and prodded almost painfully in a teasing manner.

Eight would not have long to break out of the primate's grasp before its comrades caught up. However, the close-up did allow him to feel a soft underbelly and gave him a position close to it. The real question was whether or not it was a bright idea to aggregate his current captor...

Description: A 5-meter tall Lesula with dank breath and sharp fangs. It has a long tail, a squat face, and wriggly fingers.

The barking of monkeys was replaced as screaming howls as Trently attacked the main force. A portion of them fell, frozen as electricity coursed through their now helpless body. While it did good in restricting some numbers of the monkeys, it only served to agitate them further.

At the attack towards them, the monkeys suddenly divided themselves. Two groups continued with their barrage against the capital of Kou while a smaller platoon remained to fight the man who had harmed them. Immediately, a 10-meter tall mandrill separated itself. The monkey, a brawler named Colonel Cappuccino, was aiming to receive glory back in the Reese Homelands. Jumping onto a rooftop, it now easily had access to the floating soldier.

It jumped on the carpet, teeth pulled back in a menacing snarl. Its claws sunk into the fabric of the carpet as the Mandrill scrambled on board. There was little room to maneuver upon the magic carpet, leaving Trently a small variety of options as to what to do as Colonel Cappucino tried to tackle Trently.

Description: This massive mandrill is a fierce foe. It has long, sharp fangs that can deal up to B-tier damage, brute b-tier strength, moves at A-tier speeds, and is an acrobat.

The monkeys were swat aside by hands, washed back, and were smacked around by Lest. While her efforts were valiant, it was apparent that her foes were great. They would not fall so easily, especially not Sir Tambourine the Proboscis monkey of Howler Legend.

The monkey with a well endorsed-nose rose to his feet, fur sopping wet from Lestica's barrage. The primate suddenly then revealed why it was so famous among the Banana Republic of home - his way of moving.

After closing the distance between them, the monkey began to stomp its feet, the shockwaves destroying the transportation spout. However, the most outlandish way behind this was its method. Its legs flung out to either side with each step, arms rising and falling in beat to his dance. It did this all the while as its head remained fixed in place, eyes staring into Lestica's soul.

Once it was done, the monkey immediately launched itself at Lestica. His claws swiped at the Magician, an untrained but potentially dangerous attack.

Description: A 6m tall Proboscis monkey with a very large nose. It has squinty eyes, long arms, longer feet, and reddish fur while the fur on its face is of a whiter shade. It has B-tier strength except for its legs - which has A-tier strength.

As the Seed formed around Lestacia, it dissipated back into Magoi almost as quickly as it formed. "What?!" She stood there dumbstruck for a second as the last bit of what remained of her seed dissipated. There in front of her stood a Proboscis Monkey with a fairly large nose. The young life magician snapped out of her disbelief realizing the situation at hand. It looked as if it were throwing a fierce tantrum from her point of view. She was confused but steeled her resolve and prepared to face the Monkey head on. They stared each other down for a short while, as chaos ensued around them. The guards would be busy defending the Palace so she was on her own for now. Once it finished throwing it's tantrum the monkey would Launch itself towards the readied Lestacia with her weapon brandished in her hand.

Lestacia would take a readied stance as it would charge towards her and Lean backwards as it attacked. She'd hold one hand down for balance but as it was right above her, she'd lift her Raging tide upwards in hopes of slashing his underbelly. Regardless the monkey would pass over her and land behind the Magician. So after it passed she'd lift herself back up and face him.

"I don't know if you can understand me or not but I would very much like to resolve this peacefully. Otherwise I will use force if necessary."

She readied her wand and held it an a sword stance imitating that of Trently from what she'd seen of him. "I can't continue wasting my time with you here!"

Rufus’ smile widened as he continued to release volleys upon volleys of arrows into the horde below, swinging around the steeple as his fit of laughter gradually dissipated into a serious expression as he saw the hulking mass of primate flesh leaping its way towards him in a rage. Only starting to take the situation with the gravity of deserved, he narrowed his eyes and waited for the ape to barrel its way to his position, two arrows ready to fire. Leaving only a pace between him and the ape, he would suddenly spring upwards and perch himself on top of the steeple, letting his two arrows loose one after another in a [Twin Shot] into the ape’s head and back who would hopefully be lured into running face first into the steeple from his momentum.

Spoiler:

Twin Shot

Tier: B Tier

Class: Ranger

Type: Offensive

Range:Medium

Requirements/Drawbacks: This ability must be utilised while standing still for the added stability and ability to be able to reach for two arrows without anything hindering them.

Scaling: Damage

Sustain: 0

Cool Down: 3 post

Cost: 30 stamina

Description:

The user fires two arrows in rapid succession, each dealing C tier damage separately, for B tier damage in total. The manner of this shot introduces a large chance of inaccuracy, as it is designed to monopolise on the number of arrows fired and the strength of them at a closer range of 10m or so, rather than an accurate shot at a longer distance.

Grunting as he pushed against the monkeys grip, followed by coughing as he finally caught a whiff of the beasts hair. "Man... gonna need to bring some mint herbs in case I ever deal with this again." He flailed a bit as his mind began processing the course of action while simultaneously looking for a break in the commotion.

He began inhaling slowly and as quietly as possible as not to arose suspicion. When he saw the rest of the monkey posse approaching, he knew it was now or never. "AAARHH!" He let out a dominating Fanalis Roar to hopefully stop the monkeys, albeit briefly. As he shouted, he used the intensity to kick the beast in underbelly, hopefully it was a weak spot, but he wasn't sure as he hadn't had the time to study any primates as a tamer, but it was definitely food for thought now.

Using the kick as a distraction, he would claw into the Lesula's grip, prying it off. As he fell to the ground, he would continue leading the chase to the palace, now finally on a main road with a straight route to the safety of the palace.

@Lestica

Sir Tambourine was knocked out of the air as the torrent of water hit his stomach. However, the attack only seemed to further annoy the monkey as he rose to his full height. His fur was drenched and he obviously shivered at a frigid breeze of air.

At Lestica's words, it tilted its head to the side. Bright eyes scrutinized the magician before him, his foot seemingly tapping in thought. But a distant screech from his nearby allies made the decision for Sir Tambourine. With a large holler, it ripped up a chunk of the street and lifted it above its head.

In a fearsome feat of strength, he then threw it at the Magician as a B-tier ability. It would soar for 4m, giving Lestica a small window of time to deal with the incoming attack.

Ability: Boulder-ball.

@Zuzu Mansur

There was a terrible roar as Rollo barreled head-first into the building. His large stature served to collapse the building around him, though that didn't seem to deter the massive primate. He crawled out of the rubble, shaking the dust off his body.

An arrow stuck out of his shoulder, something that Rollo fixed by snapping off the shaft. The gorilla then preceded to look around, eyes searching for the puny ranger that dared to shoot at him.

The Fanalis Roar effectively put a stop to whatever plans the monkeys had for Eight. They came to a stumbling stop, their hands flying to their large ears to block the painful screech. Eight's plan had worked, giving him a window to force his way out of the situation.

However, his actions left a look of anger and betrayal in Mr. Duck's eyes. The monkey simply wanted to play with a new toy! How dare it attack him! It would surely feel his wrath; next time, he'd pry its devious arms off its body.

Having recovered from the brief effects of the Fanalis Roar, the monkeys burst off in hot pursuit of the red-haired toy that attacked them.

"The hard way it is..." Lestacia said sighing heavily. She ran towards the Monkey seeing that the best way to dodge the boulder was to go under it's arc, which she did. Leaning back she'd slide spectacularly under the boulder and as it passed over she'd immediately stand up and point her wand towards the ape.

"Impulse Art: Polarity!"

A beam of electrical energy focused onto the Monkey dealing no damage but instead would send it shooting upwards 4 meters into the air where it would hover for a short while.
Looking up in the air at the Monkey Lestacia would away from it and towards the guards. She'd walk about 20 feet away from the Hovering monkey and take out her Essence of Dawn. Channeling her magoi through the item orange liquid would pour from the flask held up right under where the monkey was stuck hovering without his control. From under the monkey came a pillar of searing hot flames 20m in diameter. She'd be causing in incredible amount of property damage but hey, 2 birds one stone right? She'd be damaging a numerous amount of Monkeys while taking care of her main problem. If it died that is..." If The monkey found some way out of all that then she'd initially just back up towards the boulder that was most recently thrown at her.

She'd have to apologize to the emperor later. She was dealing with a frankly annoying threat. Lestacia would sigh heavily. She really did dislike violence.
Items and abilities used:

Impulse Art: Polarity
Tier: D-Tier
Class: Magician
Type: Supplementary
Range: self/long
Requirements/Drawbacks: The spell is a targeted ability. So it will Lock onto and affect the target hit. However, while the polarity is reversed the affected party cannot touch the ground until the duration. They will be repelled up to 4 meters into the air.
Scaling: duration
Sustain: -
Cool Down: 1
Cost: 10 Magoi | 5 Magoi
Description:

The caster orders the rukh to charge their staff. The Caster then shoots a beam of lightning toward themselves or a person or creature, reversing their polarity for a short period of time allowing them to fly in the air. The beam of light will lock onto the target. While their polarity is reversed the affected party gains wings made of pure electricity and is not allowed by any means to touch the ground until the duration is up. The earth is literally rejecting you and your polarity. As the spell nears its end duration they dim and when the duration is up, they disappear completely. The duration of the spell is 1 post.

Name: Essence of the Dawn
Tier: A
Type: Magic Item
Magic Type: Sunseer [Heat+Light+Clairvoyance]
Cost: 10 magoi to activate | 5 to sustain
Appearance: On the outside, it is an ordinary flask that is roughly 20 cm tall and 7 cm wide. During the day, the inside is filled with a warm, fluorescent golden liquid that seems to come alive at the touch. It's warmth reminds you of the kiss of the sun on a summer day or a mother's loving embrace. In the night, the liquid turns blue and cold, shining brightly like the moon.
Function:

  • The Wrath of Apollo - After channeling magoi into the flask, keeping the flask upright, the liquid sunlight will drain out and seep into the ground. A pillar of scorching light that is 20 meters in diameter will erupt from the ground underneath the target and deal B tier damage in the form of burns as well as applying the effects of the magic type.
  • The Gift of Diana - After channeling magoi into the flask, turning the flask upside down, the liquid moonlight will drain out onto the surface below, creating an icy mirror that is 15 meters in diameter. It will show any past or present the user wishes to see. However, it will be silent and the user many only look into a maximum of 1 threads per use or sustain.

With the time he had bought himself, he stuck his tongue out at the monkey and dashed away. Eight had made it to the castle walls, and he yelled out to them, "HELP, I NEED TO GET IN. HELP" He pounded his fist against the gate. He was strong enough to even destroy stone structures, but he held back his strength so he could use it as a temporary fortification against the multiple monkeys. It was obvious there was one of the group that had particularly wanted to chase him down, and he had only made the beast angrier.

If the gates would not be opened for him, he would have no choice at this point but to destroy them and allow all the monkeys into the palace altogether. He was too much in a panic to give the guards an ultimatum and he wasn't even sure if they were there.

Ooc: Castle guards are on you, right? :D

The tip of the boulder would manage to smack the Magician in the face; while not particularly fatal, it would leave quite the red mark and small bits of gravel. Regardless, the boulder would fly off, hitting a wall and plopping down uselessly.

Seeing as his attack did not go as plan, Sir Tambourine bounded back, screeching for his fellow Monkey-mates. However, it seemed as if time was running short for the poor fellow. The beam of electricity struck him, tossing the poor creature with a dreadful wail into the air. It flailed uselessly, trapped in the sky.

Moments later, the dreadful stench of burning monkey meat and fur could be smelled. It filled the air with a dank odor, attracting even more monekys. They seemed to be quite outraged by the unceremonious death of their beloved comrade.

Three of the new monkeys -Lady Citrus, Sir MacApple, and Toofie- would promptly throw themselves at the nearby guards, which included Lestacia.

Details:

Enemy Name: Monkeys x3
Damage Required to Defeat: B-tier each
Attack: x3 basic B-tier attacks

[Note: you failed to use an ability to counteract the one used by Sir Tambourine. As such, you were dealt C-tier damage since basic actions (from what I can see, what you used was one) < abilities.]

The guards, hearing Eight's cry, looked at each other before tossing over a rope from their stand. It was too dangerous to open the gates completely, as it offered a chance for the monkeys to scamper in, so this was their alternative.

Eight would either have to destroy the palace, and a safe place for himself, or take the ladder upwards. But there was little time, for Mr. Duck and his tailed comrades were soon approaching.

They seemed to have heard him, which disappointed Eight a bit, he was hoping to punch down the wooden doors. He could hear the cackle of rabid monkeys getting closer, seeing the image of the monkey that had pinned him down, seemingly able to rip him apart. His hands latched onto the rope, thankfully his fanalis traits made this feat easy, his strength supported his body weight and his speed allowed him to run up the castle wall like a goat.

As he reached the source of the rope, he thanks the guards and climbed into the castle, but took a glance outside again to see what was happening to the country. There were so many primates invading... and worst yet it seemed as if the country couldn't maintain a proper defense against them. Was this related to a dungeon?
Now he would have to try to do his best to help with the defense of the castle, because once this fell, it was over for Kou.

The pillar of fire erupted burning all nearby monkeys in the vicinity to a crisp. "I guess he couldn't stand the heat!" Lestacia said wiping a bit of sweat off her forehead. She couldn't rest now however there were more monkeys and people she had to help. A she turned around she could see 3 More monkeys jump her way to attack herself and nearby guardsmen.

"REVERIA!" She put extra magoi into the spell scaling it up in strength swiping at anything within the 2 Meter Arc. With those monkeys dealt with she would demand the guards retreat back to the castle and hold up there. At this point in time Lestacia's Fire pillar should have fizzled out. She needed a secure area to protect herself. Where exactly was the emperor? Why were they having so much trouble fighting Monkeys? These questions flew though her mind. It didn't matter she needed to push back these monkeys. She was running low on Magoi.
