Range: Long
Requirements/Drawbacks: Stationary if shot from bow with the necessary preparation time if shot from the bow.
Scaling: Affliction - Volatile Concoction - 10 Stamina - May Increase, Maintain or Decrease the effect by a tier. (Dice roll)
Sustain: 0
Cool Down: 4
Cost: 40 Stamina/20 Sustain
Description:

    Upon the Volatile Mixture going off and scattering above and over its target in its 6 metre radius scatter. It causes a rapid drop in temperature in the area of its effect. The effect of this is as it rapidly warms to return to standard temperature it causes Ability Damage of its Tier to Items/Equipment and causes Reduction to Damage Resistance for a period of time.


These arrows are created from the remaining scavenged material Vodarara painstakingly found after his return to the Ancient Frost Dragon's Lair.

The effects need to be split evenly in the ability. You can't have ability damage to items / equipment AND "reduction to damage resistance" if they aren't split evenly. You would also need to specify the tier these effects deal / debuff.

The scaling can't be done as we don't support dice rolls of any kind.

Regarding - the statement of damage to equipment or Damage resistance (damage resistance is a trait of creatures we have to fight as part of a job - they do not normally have their equipment listed on them)

Unless we have a statement on how a technique that hits equipment rather than a person affects creatures etc.

-I presume it will have to be hits for scaling then. I was hoping for a rather interesting mechanic with doing a dice roll.

It doesn't matter. It needs to be split evenly to fit within the ability tier. A technique deals the tier of the abilities damage as item / equipment damage. It's in the systems.

In jobs and some events, if it states that the enemy takes B tier damage to defeat, you must hit it with at least B tier damage. However, I have hardly seen, if I ever did, any sort of damage resistance on an enemy in a job. Regardless, this ability would apply to players as well. Such as Imuchakk.
