He yawned, strolling through the city with a bored expression. His insatiable desire to fight resonated through his bones. His hand itched to throw his spear at a random stranger in hopes it might grab the attention of someone - or many someones - willing to battle the crazy fanalis. The idea floated in his head despite his attempts to push it away. He recalled the last time he tried inciting a crowd of angry, violent citizens. Basically the opposite effect of what he aimed for happened. So that was that. He sighed and knocked on his skull as if to tell it to shut up or come up with a better idea. Unfortunately, the brain did not exactly work that way. He could not just bang on his head and command it to conjure a better idea. Although, he could try. One had to give him that. He tried. He always tried. If he tried any harder, he might kill himself in the process.
He noticed someone approaching him. He weaved through the crowd in what they thought was a sneaky manner. Rain wondered what he possibly might want from him? He hoped a fight. He wanted a fight real bad. He flipped his spear around like a baton, weaving it through his fingers in a surprisingly beautiful display of skill of which no one expected bloodthirsty Rain to possess. He fidgeted impatiently. Hurry up! Suddenly, losing all of his little patience turned to the side and began towards his stalker. He was met with an uncomfortable stare before the stranger took off in the other direction. Rain frowned instantly before following after. As a fanalis, he caught up quickly. That and crowds parted for him more easily. No one wanted to happen in the way of the user of a spear.
"Hey! Wait for me!" he called out.
He tracked the stranger to an alleyway. The stranger stopped and turned to face the fanalis. Whom Rain assumed were his friends moved to the side of the stranger.
"You shouldn't have followed me. Stupid kid," he growled.
Rain smiled ever so cheerfully. "Is that so?" he murmured. He shook his head and laughed.
"What's so funny!?" one piped up.
"Let's have fun, okay? Okay!"
He rose his spear and twirled it above his head. The strangers took it as a sign of a battle commencing. One of the thugs took a running start and struck his dagger out. Rain swiftly dodged to the left side of his attacker. He flung his right leg out, colliding it into the man's stomach. As his leg retreated, his enemy's body fell with it.
