The events following his discovery were those he had to escape from. No matter how well he hid his habit, it always seemed to attract the noses of those who could lock him away somewhere darker than his own mind. A voice told him in the back of his head to run away. He gave no notice of his departure but it was clear to him that he wouldn't be allowed in Magnostadt any longer. The trail of bodies he left were massive and would soon be discovered. There was a certain type of magic that could link the blood to him.

Setekh found himself looking at his hands. They were dripping with blood. He could hear the tormented screams of those he preyed upon. It was all for his own development. Blood was the key to everything. There are many things linked to it. Like his sister. Images of her flashed through his mind. He had wondered what she looked like after all of these years. The thought of her had kept his evil at bay as he dredged himself out of the depths of his mind.

The fact that his other side was melding in with his own began to cause him to worry. His lust for death and power over others grew stronger as his kindess and empathy moved further away from his understanding. He would not face his sister a monster but in order to ease his pain, he needed to go back to his roots. The sands of Heliohapt would be his salvation. He thought, perhaps, the gods would show him some sort of light.

If there was any place he would find her, it would be the place of their birth. His sister would eventually return home even if it took her years. He would wait for her. Setekh had hidden himself on a trading ship to Heliohapt. He kept a mask of ice over his face to conceal his identity along with a black, silk cloak. While it wasn't very comfortable, the ride wasn't long and there were a few others to keep him company. They would soon arrive in the scorching city in the middle of the desert and Setekh would start his new legacy there.

As they drew closer to the capital, he could feel the dryness in the air draw the moisture from out of him. The heat blazed hot against his dark, golden skin. He was finally home. For the first time in a while, he smiled out of pleasure. The city was beautiful. He could see the black pyramid off in the distance and the beautiful palace that shined brighter than ever. Setekh knew he was finally home. There was much to do.
