Job Details:

Abilities & Beast:

Hakaruru clung to Elias' back as the beast slid down the snow dune on its stomach. The Imuchakk's eyes were watering from the icy wind blasting in his face, but he kept them peeled as he searched The Tundra for some sign of food.

Suddenly the Lagombi Hakaruru was riding on pivoted and came to a stop, the action nearly throwing his rider off. But on he clinged to the back of the bear-rabbit, only letting go with the beast started to move to stand on its hind legs.

Taking the hint, Hakaruru jumped off and pulled out his whistle, fingers tracing the engravings as he looked around. Peering beyond Elias, he finally spotted a white beast moving closer.

What luck he had, a mighty wolf who seemed to be in rather fine shape. Raising the whistle to his lips, Hakaruru blew a clear note into the air, the index of his free hand pointing at the canine as he gave the command for Sliding Charge.

Elias gave a sharp bark as its ears perked before lunging forwards with powerful legs. The Lagombi fell onto its stomach and quickly slid towards the wolf, the gap between them closing significantly.

The wolf tried to jump away from the attack, it really did, but Elias managed to crash into the beast. The blow sent the oversized dog crashing aside as Elias whipped around and moved off its stomach to stand on its four paws.

As the wolf rose to its injured paws, Hakaruru started to use his whistle once more. This time the man played a simple tune, and Elias started to bound towards the wolf. But the other creature was faster now that Elias was on its feet and the gap between them were growing.

Hakaruru gave a shrill whistle, and Elias' front legs tucked back as it slid back onto its smooth belly. Within moments the space between him and the wolf was gone, and it was at that moment that Hakaruru started to play a simple tune with his whistle.

Elias, recognizing the beginning of Falling Titan, quickly leaped to its feet as Hakaruru waved his hand towards the wolf, who tried to scramble away.

Crash.

Elias fell on top of the wolf, crushing it beneath his his heavy weight. The beast trapped beneath him could only whimper and squirm before falling still to its wounds.

At that point, Hakaruru walked towards Elias, the Lagombi sitting up as it turned to look at its incoming master.

Hakaruru, kneeling down besides the now dead wolf started to skin it, scavenging all he could from several cuts to different edible organs.

And after that, Elias and him were off again, the Lagombi sliding on the ice as the two hunted for another wolf. And a wolf they found, it prowling the tundra in search of food as well.

Hakaruru quickly leaped off Elias, the beast continuing to charge towards the wolf. The smaller beast spotted its incoming threat in time and managed to jump away, Elias sliding right past it.

The wolf gave an angry growl before turning tail and running away as Elias turned sharply and started to slide back towards the wolf.

It was at that point that the wolf noticed the other beast's master, and started to race towards him. Hakaruru noticed this as well before starting to run to his left, whistle to his lips as he gave a shrill whistle. The note caught Elias' ears, who came to a sharp stop before starting to slide to his master.

Luckily for the Imuchakk, Elias jumped in front of its master and Belly Bumped the incoming wolf away. The canine gave a yelp before climbing to its feet and lunging at the still standing Lagombi.

Its teeth sank down onto Elias' shoulder, the bite digging into vulnerable skin. In result, Elias gave a sharp cry before swinging a paw, his claws scratching at the wolf's side and leaving a deep gash.

The wolf dropped away with a whine and snarled, but the sound was drowned out by two short whistles. Elias turned its head in time to spot Hakaruru swiping his hands before facing the wolf again.

The white beast jumped back as Elias dropped back onto its feet, but the wolf wasn't able to escape the Lagombi's gnashing teeth as it bit down into it's own shoulder. The wolf gave a howl at the Piercing Teeth, but it died in its throat as Elias shook the thing.

When the Lagombi finally dropped it, the wolf was still, and it was at that point that Hakaruru neared to harvest their kill. They had finally caught enough food to contribute for their part in feeding the village, and it was high time that they had gotten out of the chilling Tundra.
