Noir was visiting the hospital again, hoping to be able to give her assistance in any kind of help that they might need. The black haired girl made some acquaintances in the hospitals as well after helping them several time, one of them is the old man who was the grandfather of Haohao. Some of them was the herbalists and the doctors that usually count on her to get some rare herbs when they need to make a complicated medicine. But although she knew most of the people in the hospitals and sometime they were enjoying her company, the things that might happen in the hospitals usually was not pleasant at all. They were running out of room and medicine, not only that, some of the patients who were new to the hospital was impatient as well, making this harder for the hospital personnel.
That day, something that was a little bit expected by most of the hospital members happened. A lot of peasants complaining outside because they didn’t get to enter the place and get treated, noting this as an unfair situation and threatened the hospital to open a spot for them. The black haired girl wondered why they would be like that, but possibly the urge to keep living and being treated to prevent any further damage to their sick body made them like that and the magician was completely understand. She could understand as well why the hospitals couldn’t let the peasants to enter as well because it was already crowded and if they gave more spots to the other people then it would be bad for them all. Perhaps the thing that Noir could do was to offer her assistance for the peasants, but she might not be able to it in the hospital so perhaps she would need to treat them one by one by using her magic in their own home.
But it seemed that the peasants were impatient, their complain became a messier protest and they were not going to end this protest in a peaceful way. Noir noticed that 6 of them were holding knives and their face was darkened. The guards were doing a good job to guarding the front door though or the peasants would be forcing themselves into the hospital. The black haired girl noticed the slight change of their rukh color, she could see that their white rukh was almost being tainted, possibly because of the despair that they felt at the moment. She got no time to wait for the soldier to arrive at the hospital so perhaps she needed to stop them no matter what.
The girl stepped outside bravely, her gaze was intense but her expression was flat. “Greetings.” She said and the peasants suddenly shouted at her the things that they have been shouting since they came. “Let us in! It’s not unfair!” Said one of the peasants, seemed angry because she couldn’t enter the hospital. “There is no more spot in the hospitals and this hospital prioritizes to heal their existing patients first. However—“ One of the peasant held a knife and walked towards Noir, cutting her words before attempting to stab her. “We are tired to listen to your words! Let us in! You shall be the example because we are going to hurt everyone if they not let us in now!” Said the man who was attempting to stab Noir.
The girl used her exceptional speed and stepped aside, getting in the range where she could use her elbow and aimed it downwards towards the peasant’s back. “Please. Let me finish.” Noir said coldly but it seemed the other armed peasants didn’t want to listen. All 5 of them would be running towards Noir with a sloppy movement while pointing their knives towards the magician, possibly because they thought it would be easier to finish the girl off if they were together. But they were so wrong, the black haired girl was not only capable to use her fist but she could bring them down together at once. She would be using her natural skill to communicate with the rukh and grabbed the staff that was hanging around her back before. She would point her staff towards the incoming peasants and whispered to the rukh, commanding them to create a static magic that was wide enough to deal damage on the enemies.
Right after all of them was down because of the static energy, Noir would sighed and took all the knives from their hand. She would then stare at the peasants who was now staring at her with a complete silence, afraid that Noir would harm her as well. “I was going to ask if I could list what kind of sickness that you are having, I can ask one or two volunteer from the hospital to treat you in your own home or perhaps in a safer place.” The peasants didn’t expected to hear that from Noir and would turn around to see each other, seemingly not sure about what to do. “If you don’t want take up the offer, then please don’t come to the hospital and do this kind of mass protest anymore. There’s a lot of people that are still being taken care of inside that needs to rest.”
They all nod solemnly, showing that they agreed to what Noir had offered to them. They would all make a line after the magician instructed them to do so, listing what kind of concern that they might have. For the minor injuries that they might have or even a broken ribs, Noir volunteered to use her magic to heal them although for a really severe wound they would need to wait for the expert to take care of them. Two of the doctors from the hospital would also volunteered themselves to do a quick check up and gave them some prescriptions that they might need. However Noir thought to herself that things like this might happen again in the future because the situation in Kou was not that good. People was suffering... and the girl wondered what she could do to make it all better.
