Having arrived in Kou, Zadi headed through the port town from which he arrived and decided upon a meeting place for the group in order to discuss what actions they would take within the Kou Civil War. Zadi didn't know how late he arrived within the war so Zadi hoped, just a little, that someone from the group already made a foothold here. Whether or not said person had already helped a side is something to 'worry' about for a later time. In fact, Zadi felt quick thinking and decision making were important, at least in this case.

Anyway, Zadi messaged Job and Trently, the only ones to have responsed to his previous message. Opening his Journey Book, Zadi wrote the following message;

We should all be somewhere in Kou right now. Hopefully we are close enough to meet just outside the port town closest to the capitol. There shouldn't be any trouble going on there, hopefully. If this meeting place is not sufficient, then feel free to suggest something else.

-Zadi

Zadi then headed to just outside the port town he was currently located. If life worked out well, then the group will meet quickly and also decide upon a course of action, quickly. However, life isn't always so convenient.

Journey Book:

Name: Journey Book
Type: Notebooks
Magic Type: Communication [Light + Clairvoyance]
Appearance: A set of two leather-bound journals filled with pages.
Function:

  • The two notebooks are linked using a combination of Clairvoyance magic, which communicates the message from one book to the other, and Light magic, which gives the illusion of the other notebook receiving the message. Can be used to communicate over vast distances. Anything written in one book will “appear” in the other book.

Enlisting into Gao Yuan Zu's infantry, Trently had forgotten to notify Zadi of his decision in siding with the rebellion. As the brilliancy of the sun shone upon Kou, Trently took this moment to check his Journey Book. Inside this particular book was a newly written message by none other than Zadi. Within only a day of travel, Trently was easily able to reach the town Zadi had described as it was near where Trently was previously at. Before setting off however, Trently wrote Zadi a small message to notify him on his departure to the town.

"I will be arriving into the town in less than a day. Expect me there soon, Zadi."

Keeping word, Trently traveled over to the port town and met up with Zadi. "Yo, Zadi! Anyways, I suppose you wanted to meet about our plans with the Kou Empire? I need to let you know first though that I joined with Gao Yuan Zu's faction. Its my bad for not letting you know earlier." Apologizing for not alerting Zadi earlier of his enlisting within Gao Yuan Zu's faction.

I was waiting for the day that we would be leaving for the east. I decided to pack up my stuff and start to head off to Magnostadt again to see my family in case I didn’t come back…anyways enough with the sad talk I had been in Reim honing my magic for a good few months and even better, I didn’t really even know that I could learn a magic type that none of family was an authority on! I’m sure my parents will be pleased with me. I got a message in my journey book saying that the rest of the group was going to meet in Kou, still being in Reim, I would have to make haste if I wanted to be in Kou to help my new comrades. I wrote in the journey book, “Expect me there soon I needed to do something in Magnostadt. Before moving to the east. However, judging from the little bit of news that I have gotten from Kou, it would be best to side with the usurper Gao Yuan Zu. He seems to have a genuine cause to fight for besides if Trenly is already working for them there seems little reason to jepordise him by having us side with the opposing faction. “ I would have to pack quickly before moving on, there is a least a few more spells that I need to work on before I head over to Kou. My eldest brother Seth should be able to help me with this.

"Hey Trently! The other members of your little group will be arriving later, but I have their decisions written inside the journey books I possess. It seems we have all decided to aid Gao Yuan Zu. I'm actually glad that you decided so quickly. You seem motivated to help out, good."

The decisions were made pretty quickly it seems. Both Job and Trently decided to aid Gao Yuan Zu in his efforts to take back his throne from his son, Yoshiro. Now all that was left to do was join the cause. Zadi was split since the beginning about which side to aid, so this quick meeting really helped speed things along. With the meeting over and done with, Zadi would need to make his way to one of the hideouts of Gao Yuan Zu's training camps in order to become a recruit.

"Alright, this meeting was pretty short. I'll inform the other members of our unanimous decision right away. Good luck, Trently."

And with that, Zadi left to do what he needed to do. While traveling, he wrote in the journey book connected to Job's journey book;

"The decision to aid Gao Yuan Zu was unanimous. Take your time getting here. Family is important after all. Safe trip!"

OOC: Alright, that was pretty quick. Good job guys, you may now exit this thread freely. Good luck completing as many event jobs as you want. Doesn't look like Yoshiro's side is very excited about doing anything, so just relax.
