“Alright new recruits listen up! We are at war! We are at war with the very people we once trusted with our lives! They have killed out friends, they have killed our families, they have burned our fields, and raided our wares! It is time to show the dogs of the government that the people will be victorious in this battle!” As the older man roared over the masses in front of him the people roared back. There was a fire burning in their hearts, though it was just a small ember in Hannah’s she felt the need to allow it to grow and become a full fledge flame. She was one pf the few mages at this camp, most of the men here seemed to be warriors, though the occasional archer and beast tamer walked by. Hannah was in awe of how quickly the people rallied behind their once glorious commander. Hannah really did not care too much about what side would win at this moment in time, she was only here because the now reigning ruler’s side attacked her pointlessly. She had also heard from her family that due to the fall of Gao that her village was quickly plummeting into poverty at a faster rate than before, while it rose in prosperity when Gao was around. This led her to believe that if Gao was once again put in the position of power that her village and family could once again become prosperous.
