Primary Profession

Related Class: Magician
Profession Title: Witch
Description:
A witch is a magoi weaver that can create enchanted objects (magic items) or place enchantments on objects (items, weapons, clothing, or armor). These enchantments are rather time consuming and require the witch to perform a job or chain of jobs to create. The enchantments are nearly limitless on their possibilities as long as they fall in the system of the site. A witch can create positive enchantments such as boosting one’s natural strength or they can be negative like a sword that weakens an enemy upon striking them. Enchantments are rather finicky though, an item is rather limited on how many enchantments they can have or the type. For instance a sword would not give a person an enchantment to reduce damage. Once again it should be said that enchantments must be approved by the staff before they can be created and must follow the rules for other magical items. The witch cannot create items or enchantments that are higher tier than their primary class. Only 2 items, 2 enchantments, or 1 item/1 enchantment can be created a month due to the crafting rules. A witch may sell their wares IC or be commissioned to create something for somebody. Cannot create anything over B rank.

Profession Perks:
  • Magical Item Creation: Can create items by doing jobs/missions. These items will take the place of the huang rewards. Items cannot be weapon based but can be items and trinkets a person could use. Ex: A broom that can fly at the same amount that a flight spell can of its tier. These are capped at B rank due to the crafting rules.
  • Enchantment: Can enchant an item, weapon, clothing, or armor to give it an ability that when magoi is placed into it will activate. These are capped at B rank due to the crafting rules. Ex. A sword can become engulfed in flames for a short period of time while magoi is placed into it.
  • Inspector: Be looking at an item the witch can deduce the ability/elemental affiliation it has, though this is limited to their rank. The witch needs at least to look at an item for a post to learn this information though they do not have to touch the item, if they do it will allow them to auto learn the information.

Points for creativity but there are a wide array of problems and issues with your perks. I'll try to cover them all briefly:

Profession Perks:

-There is no global court that could compel rulers of two different countries to abide by any contractual agreements.

-Staff will not force a player to keep to a contract, as their characters should have free choice to break them. Nor will staff seize any huang, items, or other forms of compensation for you.

-Not all countries follow the same systems of law. Imuchakk for example, probably wouldn't recognize any authority behind the contracts you make unless you met with village chiefs and got their agreement first. Even then, they might not honor those agreements.

-In short, your contracts would only have plot uses and even then, they would not really be all that binding in some scenarios.

Document Creation:

-As nice as it is to find one time use tomes in Elder Scrolls that teach you a new spell, that kind of logic doesn't really work in the Magi universe.

-You won't be allowed to create vouchers.

-Maps and books are fine, but once again this will only really be useful as plot devices. You're welcome to sell maps of an area in the shop at whatever price you'd like. But you'll need links to IC justification as to why you have knowledge of the area you're mapping.

Language Master:

-There are only two languages in Magi and to learn the uncommon one, you need to be taught by rare missions or by players who already know it.

The other language is the Torran Language

Unfortunately, these are all a no go v.v

-The ability to create magic tools is not yet known to the world IC. That will be a plot related discovery later on.

-Enchanting is literally just making magic tools.

-It would be impossible to tell the magic type(Magi doesn't have "elements" of a magic tool just by looking at it unless it were actively being used. But then you wouldn't need a trait for that.

I think you had a much better angle with the stuff before and using it for plot purposes. Profession perks are mostly supposed to be for plot purposes anyways.
