The first thing that Rashid had to do was mop the deck of the ship, and it wasn’t the easiest thing to do. Ok nothing was easy, but this part was pretty tedious, going through the mop and getting it across the surface of the ship. Going back and forth, Rashid was kind of doing his best not to think of this as degrading, he had a purpose in life that was beyond this. In the meantime, he would take a look around the ship to see if there is anything of value worth knowing about it. That was one way he used to cope.

The second thing that Rashid had to do involved carrying a few barrels to the storage, which proved to be something that raised Rashid’s interest. As rashid carried each and every barrel that was assigned to him that involved the storage boat, Rashid figured that they must he handling some sensitive shipment that could be involving a very rich client. Opening one of the barrels, the smell of ale filled the room, high grade ale in fact. This made Rashid thing about what kind of escort service the owner of the sailor ship was running , and he ended up taking a small shipment note and sneaking it into his pocket.

After that he had to organize the storage, which gave Rashid more of a reason to sneak around and find some things out. The storage room had some things that involved precious metals, crates and crates of them. Metal can be melted down and crafted into just about anything, so it made Rashid wonder what the metals were for? “Hmm, interesting…….” So they also dealt with deliveries that involved the local blacksmiths of the area. There were also the military blacksmiths to take into account for as well, so Rashid also had to check it out. Taking one of the ores, Rashid sneaked it into his pocket.

The last thing that Rashid had to do was to tighten the ropes of the ship. That didn’t necessarily involve anything of the sort when it came to his hidden agenda. He already got everything he needed from this boat, and can explore a different number of things in that regard. While tightening the ropes, Rashid did loosen a few so that it could possibly sabotage the boat so they stay a little longer, but he did it in secret. After finishing, he returned to the lazy sailor. “Thanks for the money….” Rashid would say as he got paid, but it wasn’t over yet…
