RACES

Currently there are four races which one can choose from not counting Dungeon Beasts and Halflings. A race does not dictate what country you are affiliated with, but simply what group you were born into and what your general capabilities are.

IMUCHAKK

Those of the Imuchakk tribe are massive goliaths. Their race’s primary residence is in the Northern Continents. The Imuchakk race has a natural resistance to the cold, and they thrive in the harsh environment, prizing both strength and warrior spirit. The average male adult stands at a height range of 213 cm to 274 cm, whilst the average women can range anywhere from 152 cm to 213 cm. They are also known for their characteristic blue hair.

MAGICIAN

A magician is a special breed of human who is “loved by the rukh” from the day they are born. This grants them the incredible power to command the rukh, bending them to their will in order to perform various types of magic. Despite all this, their physical bodies are naturally very fragile. This however, is generally taken care of by the powerful “borg” every single magician is born with. A powerful barrier that will appear when put in immediate danger.

Dungeon Beast

Dungeon Beast is a term used to refer to someone who has undergone a transformation into something inhuman. Despite the name, a Dungeon Beast (or DB) might have never entered a Dungeon, but their transformation can always be traced back to the magic lifeforms - or Dungeon Creatures - found within. As such, the types of Dungeon Beasts will be divided into Magical and Artificial.

Categories

Magical: This type of Dungeon Beast is directly transformed by a Dungeon when a Djinn transfers their blessing to a chosen candidate. If someone with a Household has undergone Assimilation, they will also be included in this category. In these cases, they are not biologically changed into the Dungeon Beast, hence a Household member will revert to their humanoid form if their King Vessel dies and someone with a Djinn's blessing can ask another Djinn or Magi to undo the magic. This category may have access to the magic type of the relevant Dungeon.

Artificial: If someone has not acquired their transformation from a Djinn, they are most likely the result of experiments involving Dungeon Creatures. For instance, they might have had parts of a Dungeon Creature grafted onto their body or been manipulated via magic to mutate into a Dungeon Creature. In rare cases, the transformation might be entirely artificial and result in a man-made Dungeon Beast, such as a zombie. Once transformed, however, their physiologies are forever altered into the image of a Dungeon Creature. This category does not have access to magic types (unless previously a Magician), but their unique physiologies can grant similar effects. If they have affiliation with Tartarus, however, a Dungeon Beast can be granted an advanced magic type at A Tier by engraving a special magic circle onto their body.

Examples:

Hybridisation

Tartarus grants unique perks as regards Dungeon Beasts, allowing someone to transform into an artificial Dungeon Beast from a select pool of Dungeon Creatures via Hazard magic irradiation. At D-C Tiers, if they have chosen a Dungeon Beast from this pool, the transformation causes mostly aesthetic changes to their outwards appearance, before they mature and gain access to the racial traits at B Tier. Once their physiology has matured at B Tier, any Dungeon Beast affiliated with Tartarus may undergo further Hazard magic irradiation and choose to exchange one of their racial traits with a trait of equal tier from another Dungeon Beast in the pool. They may switch up to two racial traits at A tier and three at Ω Tier. This process is called Hybridisation and uniquely available to those affiliated with Tartarus.

Physiology Template

Code:
[b]Trait Name:[/b]Dungeon Beast Physiology
[b]Trait Tier:[/b] -
[b]Trait Requirement:[/b] Dungeon and Djinn's Blessing (Magical) / Dungeon Creature Experiment (Artificial)
[b]Trait Description[/b] You should describe the form and how it changes the user, list possible options of things that could be changed and things that permanent about the form or it's traits.
[b]Trait Effect:[/b]
[list]
[*] It should have unique effects equal to 3 A-tiers for its physiology, from strength, movement enhancement, a special type of attack (or access to special ability slots, max 5) or another such special effect. These effects may be split up as well, such as having two A-tier effects and two B-tier effects, but it can only have a max of four effects.

[*] If the race is magical, then it may be given access to spells related to the Dungeon's magic. If the race is artificial, it cannot have access to magic (unless the character is a Magician), but may have abilities able to simulate it related to its unique physiology, like how Beasts are treated.

[*] Each race also comes with a weakness or some type of sacrifice, whether it be restricted to a class, lose any human form or have some specific vulnerability.

[*] For each additional effect for the trait outside its standard amount of up to three A Tier effects, there must be an additional weakness to the race to balance it.

[*] The race may instead be given only two effects up to A Tier with no absolute weakness or downside effect, but will still need to be balanced with a natural drawback to one of the effects.

[*] Each race should have its own magoi and stamina pools, having either its own unique values or values equivalent to another race based on the creator’s discretion.[/list]
