Imuhulk: Origins II [Chain/Hohotaro,SolomonxKing]

Quest:

What the chase would be in Hohotaro's mind and in reality is vastly different. Hohotaro imagined that Solomon and him would swiftly weave through the crowd unnoticed but all they did was stepped on a few feet and bump on a few stalls as they chase after the assassin. Even once Hohotaro accidentally stepped on an innocent chicken that he have to stop and pay for the damages to the owner.

"Excuse me... Sorry... Sorry... Oops didn't mean to step on your chicken..." Is all that comes out of Hohotaro's mouth as he navigates through the crowded streets of the bazaar. Even though he is being drastically slowed by his awkward to being a ninja he can still see where the assassin is going.

After a while of trailing the assassin they managed to leave the bazaar proper and continued out towards the wilderness. The assassin doesn't seem to be in such a hurry. Actually at times the assassin would purposefully stops and stretches from time to time until Hohotaro and Solomon catches up to them.

Hohotaro is a little thrilled because this is the one time he's managing to stalk someone. He always tried to stalk the wild life in Imuchakk but most of the time he is being left in the dust or being lead straight into a trap. Hohotaro tilts his head a little when he thought of the word "Trap" but quickly dismissed it from his mind. Hohotaro feels that everything is going according to plan.

Hohotaro tiptoes from tree to tree trying to make as little sound as possible, for an imuchakk at least. The assassin finally lead them to what seems to be the headquarters of the operation. From the outside it looks like an ordinary cave by the beach but Hohotaro knew in his guts that in there would be something that would be what Hohotaro thinks of when he thinks evil organizations base.

Hohotaro stopped just at the mouth of the cave and slowly peeked inside. He motioned for Solomon to come if he still not already with him and peeking.

"Can you see anything?" Hohotaro asked Solomon.

Hohotaro squints his eye trying to look beyond the darkness that is within the cave. "I can't see anything... Maybe we should get a little closer..."

Hohotaro's ears twitched in excitement as he saw a stack of barrels on the side of the cave. He is familiar with these things because his grandfather is a merchant. He remembers in his youth playing hide and seek and using these container as his prime hiding spot.

"Barrels!" Hohotaro exclaimed. Hohotaro motioned for Solomon to follow him to the barrels. Hohotaro smiles as it's just the exact size for him to fit inside, he grins and as an idea popped inside his head. "Mon! Follow my lead."

Hohotaro took an empty barrel and put it over his head covering his entire body except for his legs. "Nobody will see us coming! hehehe..."

Hohotaro walks forward and *THONK* "Ow!" Hohotaro hits the wall of the cave.

Hohotaro knew that there is a flaw in his plan... He forgot to put a peephole on his barrel... But thanks to Hohotaro's quick thinking that comes from his brilliant mind, this flaw can be easily remedied. Hohotaro drills a small hole in front of the barrel using his arrow. "Am I a genius or what? haha!" Hohotaro laugh echoes inside his barrel as he continues forward deeper inside the cave.

Solomon would struggle with Hohotaro just to make it through the wave of people at the bazaar, most of the people Solomon would just charge through knocking them down, Solomon only did this to the people that noticed him running towards them and did not take the moment to move out of the way as it slightly angered him but for the people that didn't seem to notice him he would attempt to make his way around them. As the two of them chased the man, they would seem to fall behind at times but then catch up again almost as if the man was purposely just staying out of reach but wanted us to follow him. "This is most definitely at trap Hoho", he would say but the warning fell out of mind quickly. They would both eventually come to a cave, Solomon remained cautious as he knew that the man wished him to be there, "I do not believe it to be wise to go in as again this is most definitely a trap.... But if we do not go in we will not figure out what is going on." Knowing Hohotaro, Solomon knew that he would not be able to wave off his curiosity of what is going on and Solomon did not really take interest in the situation or what may be going on here but if it meant protecting a friend he would go ahead and follow him till they were safe.

Solomon would follow Hohotaro to barrels, but when they reached the barrels Solomon just stared at Hohotaro as he got into a barrel that would definitely too small for Solomon and watching Hohotaro walk around without vision made him sigh, as he would slowly just walk behind him as he knew at that point there was no point at all in trying to be stealthy. Even as they traveled further into the darkness Solomon did not attempt to hide at all, and from time to time he would just kick Hohotaro over while he was in there barrel as he became bored.

"Hey stop that!" Hohotaro's voice echoed inside the barrel as Solomon kicks it. "You're drawing too much attention!" He would continue onwards deeper into the cave in his little barrel. After a while of walking they started to see light. They arrived into a stairs that lead down wide open space that looks to be made into a storage house and harbor of some sort. But instead of crates and barrels, all they see around are empty cages.

"What is this place?" Hohotaro thought out loud as he peers through the peephole of his barrel. "Slavers?" Hohotaro flashed back to the recent past he tried to forget. He saw in his mind the blood soaked tribal village. He saw the image of the tribal elder disemboweled and hanged to dry like a common animal.  He remembered the burning caravan and the way he watched helplessly as the slavers rounded up his friends and killed those that they deem not worth anything or too much trouble to capture alive. Simon, Khaleel, Kheema, and all the other mercenaries tied and rounded up. Ahmed, the mercenary leader and the caravan leader all killed in front of him. And it's all because he was too weak, he can't protect anyone other than himself. He tried to forget everything because back then he knew that he can do nothing and he feels that thinking about it would just lead him into depravity. The dam of memories seemed to break and the deluge come rolling drowning Hohotaro's consciousness. Hohotaro screams in pain and tries to get those back behind the wall that he made to protect himself from falling into depravity.

Hohotaro loses his balance from the pain and fell forward rolling down the stairs in front of him. The barrel broke and what appears is Hohotaro clutching his head. Hohotaro grits his teeth so hard that blood spills from his lips.

At this moment 8 men that have masks exactly like the ones from the clinic appeared. Two Assassins appeared behind Solomon, 3 assassins seems to block the stairs and the other 3 surrounds Hohotaro that is laying on the ground. They knew that the two imuchakks are coming and have their weapons at the ready prepared to charge forward towards Hohotaro and Solomon.

Solomon laughed as Hohotaro told him to stop, as the walking barrel probably would draw much more attention then someone randomly kicking a barrel, but Solomon would stop as it now seemed as if Hohotaro was worried about something. As Solomon turned to look around the room he would see the cages Hohotaro saw and not much else other then the stairs as it was too dark, suddenly behind he would hear a thump as he turned he would see that Hohotaro had fallen and fell down the stairs. Solomon would immediately begin to run towards him as he wished to check if he was ok, but he would then stop as he notice 3 of the men with the same design of masked surrounded Hohotaro, and he knew there was someone behind him but he was not sure of how many, then jumping in between Hohotaro and Solomon three more men appeared centering themselves on the stairs.

Solomon would slowly draw his weapon as he said, "How can we help you guys?" after waiting a moment with no reply Solomon would then begin his sprint toward Hohotaro again, immediately using Onyx Wall behind himself to clear himself of view from those behind him and then he would immediately have to use Round Robin as two of three men that stood between himself and Hohotaro shot out Acu Therapy. After smashing the two small pins aside he would see that the third man would then already be in motion to Basic Attack with his wakizashi which would only meet with Solomon's Rampaging axe as a Basic Attack that clashed with one another swinging each of the blades away from the body, allowing Solomon to then drive his opposite fist into the face of the enemy as a Basic Attack dropping the man easily to the ground like a doll. Solomon did not even look at this as he then spun around and leaned back slightly as he would then use Double Round House Kick lifting his right foot first the smash the left side of the mans head and then the left to hit the right side, Solomon would be able to see the man stumble back and forth before tumbling down the stairs towards the others.

Not being quick enough to take out all three of the men the final man would end up slashing his wakizashi down the left side of Solomon's back as a Basic Attack this would make Solomon cringe as he was still bring down his left foot from his kick earlier. He would then turn swinging his axe towards the man using a Basic Attack targeting his head with the flat part of his axe, this would have the man spin slightly before falling. One would notice that Solomon did not kill any of these men but knocked them out with each attack. That left only 5 masked men left the two that still remained behind Solomon and the three that surround Hohotaro, he would pause to see what was happening over by Hohotaro and would sprint to his aid if need be tackling who ever may be about to attack him. If not Solomon would then be on the defensive for those that stood behind him.

Abilities Used:

Hohotaro feels his skull splitting open. This is different than just trying to repress unwanted memories. His whole body feels as if it's burning from inside out. Hohotaro screamed in pain clutching his head as if trying to hold it together keeping it from bursting open. He can hear whispering from the back of his head. It's like a legion of different voices mumbling incoherently but there is one voice that stands out above the rest.

"Power... It is what you lack. It is what you need." the voice echoes inside Hohotaro's head.

"No! Get out of my head!" Hohotaro is now struggling to maintain consciousness. His vision is spinning and his sight is getting dim.

"Justice... It is what you seek. It is what I'll give." the voice inside Hohotaro's head continues.

"Justice...?" Hohotaro's guard inside his head dropped for a split second and this is the opening the curse inside Hohotaro needed. Hohotaro's eyes rolled back he is now fully unconscious but instead of just laying down immobilized. Hohotaro stood up.

At this time Solomon just finished with the last assassin that was blocking the stairs. Solomon paused and see Hohotaro standing in the middle of the three assassins.

The three assassins that surrounds Hohotaro attacked simultaneously with their poisoned wakizashi. Hohotaro ignored the assassins that was attacking his flanks and charged straight to the assassin in front of him. The two attacks from Hohotaro's flanks was just blocked by the shield of magoi that surrounds him. While Hohotaro just catches the attack that's coming in front of him with his bare hands that's protected by magoi grabbing it mid swing. He kicks the side of the assassin and sent him flying towards one of the cages. The force of the impact bends the bars of the cage.

Hohotaro turned and started walking towards the other two assassins. They tried throwing their needles aimed towards Hohotaro's legs in an attempt to immobilize him but the needles just bounced off of Hohotaro's magoi shield. The assassins staggers backward and looked at each other.

The assassin hesitated to attack as Hohotaro charged towards him. The assassin attempted to slash at Hohotaro but it was too late. Hohotaro caught the assassins arm. The assassin still managed use his free hand to get a needle and tries to stick it in Hohotaro eyes. The magoi shield coating Hohotaro's whole body still manages to block the attack. Hohotaro then grabbed the assassin's head and pulled it aside so that he can bite down on the assassin's neck. Hohotaro managed to bite out a large chunk of the flesh. Hohotaro then shoved his hand inside the wound and pulled out the assassin's jugular vein. Blood that spurts out of the vein bathed Hohotaro in crimson.

The last assassins held his wakizashi on top of his head and screamed as he charged towards Hohotaro. This is unusual since they haven't heard a single sound from these assassins before. The assassin swings the sword down with all his might but Hohotaro is still unfazed because of his magoi shield. Hohotaro grabbed the assassin's head and slams it towards the ground in one single motion. Hohotaro then stood upright and lifted the dead assassin and crushed his head.

Hohotaro drops the assassin and stares directly at where Solomon was. If Solomon looks at Hohotaro he would notice that he looks exactly like the Rampaging Imuchakks they have fought before. Veins are clearly visible on Hohotaro's face and his eyes is devoid of all emotion except that of rage. Hohotaro's teeth is visibly gritting from anger and it is still dripping from the piece of the neck he bite from one of the assassin.

Hohotaro bears down towards Solomon.

Abilities:

Charging the two men that stood behind Solomon since he noticed that Hohotaro did not need any assistance, he noticed they did not bother removing the wall that he put up to block their vision. As he came to the wall there was no one behind it, but what he did notice was a shadow flicker in the distance behind just down a single tunnel neither of them noticed before. He was about to turn and say to Hohotaro that they should follow down this path to find the remaining men and see what was going on but he noticed something was off about Hohotaro, Solomon would notice certain traits of that of the other rampaging they had dealt with before. Seeing this Solomon sighed just before turning and sprinting down the path he saw earlier as Hohotaro followed him.

Running down this small tunnel that was 15 m wide, Solomon tried to think of what do to about his friend that was acting strangely but he knew that he also would not be able to deal with the two men ahead especially if they laid in wait with a trap, so Solomon would then turn around to deal with Hohotaro first by immediately creating a pool of lava between them using Molten Spill creating a gap of 20m between them and would go wall to wall. Solomon would wait at the edge of this pool to see how Hohotaro reacted, if he attempted to jump the pool he would meet with Weapon Basic Block as Solomon knew that he would either attempt an attack in the air or if the rampage had not made him lose some of his senses he would use his bow, then immediately Solomon would then follow up with Wardens Grasps to grab Hohotaro's arm that held his weapon if across in attempt to damage the primary arm used. If he still remained on the other side he would then use his rampaging axe to block any other ability that came his way as a Basic Attack. He would keep there distance till he had come to his senses.

Hohotaro covered in his enemy's blood and is still clearly out of his mind chases after Solomon through the tunnels.

Inside Hohotaro's head he is waging a war of his won. He is trying to push back the curse that is spreading through his consciousness. "Get out of my head!" Hohotaro screams in the recesses of his mind.

"Accept the power I give and you will be reborn." The mysterious voice speaks directly in his mind. Hohotaro starting to recognize the voice in his head. He remembers the man that's with the slavers that attacked his caravan. The man did something to Hohotaro but at that time he seems to forget what it was. The only thing he clearly remembered that day was getting hit by a sleeping poison and then standing in the middle of the ruins he believed he had done himself. What happens between was all fuzzy.

The raging Hohotaro bounds towards Solomon in an incredible speed jumping in quick succession. Solomon turns around and casts a lava in hopes to slow down Hohotaro. But the Hohotaro right now doesn't care about his well being. He jumps through the lava burning his feet but his face didn't flinch at all.

Hohotaro jumps up with clinched hands over his head and brings it down simultaneously towards Solomon. The Imuchakk escort expertly blocked the attack with his axe then Solomon grasped Hohotaro's right wrist with the warden's grasp.

Hohotaro tries to wriggle out of Solomon's grasp but he failed. The sound of cracking bones on Hohotaro's wrist can be heard audibly. But Hohotaro's rampage is still not over, he lift his left knee and tries to bury it on Solomon's torso.

Ability:

It turned out just as Solomon had planned he did not expect however that it would get to the point that he would break the wrists. Something was seriously wrong with Hohotaro and what more he was still not done as he would then go to smash his knee into Solomons Torso giving him time to use Fortress Wall Stance he would take it  as he looked a Hohotaro, "You little dick, snap out of it!" Solomon would yell in his face. He would then let his grip go free from his wardens grasp but as it released he would also bring his head back and smash it into Hohotaro's as a Basic Attack, if that did not make him fall he would then follow up with smashing the side of his axe bluntly against the side of his head as a Basic Attack, then allowing it to fall throwing two more hay makers with his right and left fist as Basic Attacks.

If that was enough to make his friend unconscious as he was not trying to kill him he would stop his attacks, that drag him forward through the tunnel with him. As he traveled forward he would then see a light and he would realized that the tunnel lead to the outside, and he could smell the ocean breeze. Solomon would come to the edge of the exit and then put Hohotaro against the wall, as he would then peek around to see where the two that had left went afterwards, as he looked out he could see that they were preparing a small row boat, "The bastards mean to run!? After they brought us here?! HELL NOO!" Solomon would sprint from the cave entrance to see that the two men would then begin rushing pushing there boat out into the water, you could see as Solomon would run faster as they rushed they would rush more and Solomon would run slightly faster as they increased their pace. By the time that Solomon got out into the water up to his knees they were about 18 m away, "Close but not close enough" Solomon would then use Onxy Wall just infront of the boat so it would angle over top of it, and then immediately would use Molten Spill just on the wall so it would fall off of it and onto the men below. If he could he would have like to kept the men alive, but he was not willing to let them go either. Solomon could easily see where the men were heading for he would notice a ship just at the Horizon, and he knew that everything that had happened here and perhaps with Hohotaro has had to do with the Rampaging Imu he had fought before.

Abilities Used:

The rampaging Hohotaro's knee drives through Solomon's torso but he is not shaken at all. Solomon then releases Hohotaro and brings his head down towards Hohotaro for a headbutt. But as soon as Solomon let Hohotaro go he tackles the bigger Imuchakk and renders him imbalanced and the head butt lost it's power.

Hohotaro let out a guttural growl and sends his broken fist flying towards Solomon's face. But Solomon saw this coming and he takes the blunt side of his axe and hits Hohotaro squarely on his temple. It was a solid hit and Hohotaro's head and body spins from the momentum. Hohotaro crumples to the ground before Solomon's next two attack making his fist miss completely.

Hohotaro fell unconscious, his face returned to normal and he's sleeping peacefully snoring on the ground.
