Country Affiliation:Imuchakk

Race:Imuchakk

Tier:D-Tier

Specialization:Strength

Age:15

Birthdate:Nov 10, 1999

Gender:Male

Sexuality:Hetero

Personality:

Some might call him carefree others might refer to it as being irresponsible, whatever it is, the bottom-line is Hohotaro really just doesn't care. He doesn't care what people think. Taunting him or making fun of him is futile, he will never throw the first punch. Even losing or failing means nothing to him, he just brush it off as lesson learned and look forward on trying again if it's entertaining enough.

He treats everyone as a friend until proven otherwise, and even then, he will still be friendly to them just at a distance, cause you know... safety reasons. Because of this he rarely have very close friends, he might seem to be a bit insincere to most since nobody can be that friendly, and they might be right. For Hohotaro though he doesn't think much about it. He just treat anyone how he like to be treated.

If you get to know Hohotaro long enough you will understand that even though he treats everyone as friends he still have people that is special to him. Hohotaro only have one thing that he cares about in this world, and that is his family. If you get close enough to him that he considers you family then you'll see that he will do anything for you and your happiness will be his first priority.

Likes:

  • Being in water:Be it swimming or diving or just staying underwater and meditating. He is at his best when he's in water, it relaxes him and energize him.
  • Family:There is only one thing Hohotaro cares about in this world, and that is his family. And this includes friends close enough that he considers them part of his family.
  • Money:As Hohotaro always say, "Those that believe money can't buy you happiness clearly doesn't have enough or they're using it wrong."

Dislikes:

  • Confrontation:As much as possible Hohotaro will avoid confrontations. As long as there is a possibility of a peaceful resolution he will always try to do it. If a fight does break out he will all of his ability to win... or run whichever is the most logical at the time.
  • Responsibilty:Other than his family, Hohotaro doesn't want to be tied down to anything. He wants the freedom to drop anything if the work needed does not meet the profit gained.

Aspirations:

Hohotaro's aspirations are simple, he just want enough money to live the rest of his life without worries and without working. That means being a king is out of the question, he doesn't want the responsibility that brings.

He also aspires to be the best brother to his little sister. Since his father can no longer function as normal due to his depravity Hohotaro act as the father to her.  There is nothing that he cannot do if it's for his sister. You can say he has a little bit of a sister complex.

And finally he wants to find a way to get rid of his father's depravity. He tried everything even giving his father anything he asked for but somehow that just drag him deeper and deeper into depravity. It's not his first priority though, at least his father is calm now ever since that incident of the Raging Unicorn. It's his wish to get rid of it at least before he dies because he heard that when people die of depravity they become ghosts, and Hohotaro is afraid of ghosts...

Phobias/fears:

  • Falling into Depravity:Hohotaro saw the consequence of falling into depravity first hand with his father. He still love him though even after trying to kill him and his mother and her unborn child then trying to kill himself.

What he fears is the state his father was in where hurting his love ones and himself seems to be the best answer to his problem. He'll do whatever he can to prevent himself to be in that state.

In short he fears depravity and not the depraved. He will still befriend a depraved person as if he's just depressed, maybe that's one and the same, Hohotaro doesn't care.

Face-Claim:OC

Hair Color:Blue

Eye Color:Amber

Height:177cm

Weight:68kg

Appearance:

Hohotaro basically wear the traditional clothing of his tribe. Hanging on his right hip he have two hook swords fashioned from the Rampaging Unicorn horn he accidentally killed. The thing on his head is not really a horn used in Imuchakk traditions, it's just a root crop given to him by his sister asking him to wear it on his head so they'll have a matching pair.

He tends to slouch with his body weight resting mostly on one leg at a time. When he walk normally it's like he's taking a stroll on a park, slow and relaxed. A smile rarely leaves his face but that doesn't mean his face doesn't show his emotions. Just imagine any facial expressions but with hint of a smile.

He's an animated talker and a great story teller. Using big hand gestures and expressive tone of voice makes anything he say compelling and you'll be hard pressed to not just stay awhile and listen.

Rukh Alignment:White

Special Traits:

History:

Hohotaro was born out of wedlock when both his parents was just in their teens. Being young, naive and in-love was hard, both were swept away with a rush of passion and before they know it, Hohotaro was born when they were just barely passed 16 years of age. His father promised the world to Lilika, Hohotaro's mother, but all of that doesn't matter for Lilika, she just want to be with him.

Luckily for Hohotaro's father, Lilika was the daughter of a well to do merchant. Being a well traveled man across the world he was more open minded than most Imchukka tribesmen. He accepted the situation and even helped Hohotaro's father by letting him work in his shop, being a young father who still haven't reached adulthood yet, Hohotaro's father's work choice was limited.

Five years passed and their lives are relatively normal, actually it's like a very good dream for Hohotaro's parents, everything was perfect and they were happy. Now the time has come where Hohotaro's father can do the trial of adulthood and they will no longer be dependent on Lilika's father.

The day of the trial came. Hohotaro's father was full of vigor, optimism and a dream of finally being able to get married and becoming a real family in tribal law. A day passed, then two days, then a week, then a month and then a year. Hohotaro's father has yet to return.

Lilika became melancholic. She always finds herself staring at a distance waiting for Hohotaro's father to return. Then she thought, 1 year was too much just for a test, so she decided to go out and look for him herself.

Her father heard what she was about to do and formed a band to accompany her to go out in search for Hohotaro's father.  Lilika was determined that she will return with Hohotaro's father even if he haven't completed the test yet or worse with his lifeless body, at least she thought there will be closure.

After almost a day of search they have found him. He was battered, bruised and broken but otherwise alive. They found out that Hohotaro's father lost his right arm and left leg against the rampaging unicorn. They also found out that Hohotaro's father was actually in hiding because he believe that he can't possibly come back after such a humiliating failure, his pride would not let him.

Lilika would have nothing of that. She managed to conviced him to come back with her to the village. Unbeknownst to her this was the start of her husband's fall into depravity.

On the surface everything was back to normal. Both of Hohotaro's parents got back to work, and also his mother does her best to take care of her husband. Being a son of a nameless supposed to bring shame on Hohotaro and of course some people do their best to remind him of that every day but he just laugh it off and tune it out. He always have his mothers word to heart.

"Don't let what other people say bother you, the only words that matters are from the ones that matters to you."

Few years have passed, Hohotaro was growing up to be an exemplar Immuchak Warrior. He didn't mean to or strive for it. He just wanted to lower the burden of his parents so he does odd jobs here and there, the more profitable the better. He became a very dependable young man, being known to do the jobs swiftly and efficiently.

Eventually the stigma of him being a nameless' son was slowly being erased. But the new found brilliance people see on Hohotaro just cast a deeper shadow on his father. And his father can see this, he can't help but feel inadequate and useless thus cursing his own fate and destiny even more. And if that wasn't enough another tragedy happens.

Hohotaro's grandfather went out on an expedition and didn't manage to come back. Hohotaro's mother tried her best to keep the company going but eventually it collapsed. Without it the only place where Hohotaro's father felt useful disappeared. No one would hire him, he became a bum and a drunkard.

With Hohotaro's mother expecting another baby they relied more on more on a 10 year old child for everyday expenses and that is close to impossible. No one would give Hohotaro a serious adult job. Their family became poor, sometimes without any bite to eat,. That was the breaking point of Hohotaro's father.

One stormy night Hohotaro was awakened by his father. His father said that he had an idea on taking down the Rampaging Unicorn and he needs Hohotaro's help to accomplish it. Of course Hohotaro agreed immediately and followed his father into the darkness of the night into a cliff overlooking a cove.

Hohotaro's father then set up some spikes by the cliff, using some spears and tying them together so that it will stand in about a 60 degree angle from the ground. He then proceed to tie Hohotaro to a pole at the center of his traps. Hohotaro protested but his father just say to trust him. After he completed setting up the trap he proceeds to shout at the top of his lungs try to lure the Rampaging Unicorn out from the depths.

As his father was shouting Hohotaro looked around the vicinity. On the corner of his eye he thought he saw a young girl hiding behind some bushes inside the jungle. Then a loud splash came from the distance.

Then it appears from behind the blanket of the raging storm a towering Rampaging Unicorn. It was bigger than anything Hohotaro has seen and it was looking straight at him. He looked around for his father but he's nowhere to be seen. Trusting his father completely he glares at the Rampaging Unicorn as it reared its head for an attack.

As the beast close in for an attack a spear hit the side of its head and deflected the attack barely missing Hohotaro. For a moment Hohotaro thought he was not mistaken for trusting his father but when he looked at who threw the spear it was not his father but his pregnant mother.

Lilika ran toward them clutching her womb somehow protecting it, she then jumped and follow the spear hit with two heavy kick on the beast's head. The beast's head was thrown aside by the force and as it was recoiling from the impact Lilika went straight for Hohotaro to untie him shouting.

"What are you doing here? Where is your father? Go on back to the village I wi--!"

Even before she finished her sentence the Rampaging Unicorn whip his head back for a second attack. Lilika was caught unaware but she still managed to put up a magoi defense to lessen the impact, but she was still thrown 5 meters to the side.

Lilika grit her teeth and tensed her legs for a charge to escape. But her magoi was not enough Lilika buckles and coughed out a pool of blood. Hohotaro can see that her eyes was also bleeding.

Hohotaro rushed to his mother trying to help her. Time seems to slow down, the rampaging unicorn's teeth closing in on Hohotaro then there was a flash of lightning and blood splashed everywhere.

Hohotaro found himself wrapped around a familiar embrace. Lilika took the damage to herself, she pushed Hohotaro with her weakend arms to look at him and said.

"I'm glad you're fine."

Lilika collapsed to the ground. Looking at his mother's blood on his hand Hohotaro felt a boiling sensation within his blood. He stood up and ran towards the spear his father tied up as a trap.

The Rampaging Unicorn attacked again but this time he managed to dodge it by sliding towards the spears. The beast reared back again and slamed his head towards the ground. The trap Hohotaro's father set up was immediately destroyed except for one spear on Hohotaro's hand.

As the beast rear up his head again. Hohotaro grabbed his mothers spear that was stucked on the beast's face and used it as a spring to go on top of the beast's head. He tried to use the spear to dig in deep into the its skull but it was too tough he then used the other spear to stab it's eyes. The spear went in and the beast trashed around and Hohotaro was thrown back towards the top of the cliff.

The beast roared in rage and look for Hohotaro with his working eye. As soon as it saw Hohotaro it begin winding up its attack.

Hohotaro looking for another weapon run towards the litter of spears where he was tied up earlier. Not good, all the spears are broken and can't be used. He looked toward the beast and with a glint on its eye he slammed its head toward him.

Out of options he took the pole he was tied up to earlier and angled it. Putting the pole on top of his body, he dig deep to the ground with his feet and braced for impact.

Schug! The Rampaging Unicorn's head was impaled to the pole. Hohotaro's knees gave out and he plomp to the ground, but remembering her mother he forced himeslf to stand up and rushed towards her.

When Hohotaro got to her she was bleeding heavily. Everypart of her body was torn except for her womb. Lilika looked at Hohotaro smiling and having tears mixed with blood.

"I'm glad you're alright honey."

Hohotaro screamed for help. He looked around for his father but he still nowhere to be seen. He then noticed the girl from earlier he screamed at her asking her to go and get some help. The girl nervously nods then quickly raced towards the village.

Hohotaro's mother then grabbed his hand gently and put it on top of her womb.

"You must save her... I've been keeping her safe with the last of my magoi..." Lilika handed Hohotaro a spear tip then nods.

When the townspeople arrived what they saw was a very grisly scene. Beneath a raging storm lies a dead Rampaging unicorn on the cliff of the cove impaled on a pole, a man with his hand on his head and face on the ground paralyzed and shaking in fear, and beside him a woman disemboweled bathing in her own blood, lifeless. And amidst all this stands a young boy bloodied and holding a crying baby on his left arm and clutching a bloody spear tip on the right.

Hohotaro looked up shaking with a stream of tear on his eyes trying to fake a smile and said.

"You should've... seen it... My father killed... the Rampaging Unicorn single-handedly. He can have his name now... right?"

Hohotaro blacked out then all of them was brought back to the village. The tribal elders convened and deliberate on the event. They considered Hohotaro's words, but they can't see how a man broken and shaking just by the sight of a dead Rampaging Unicorn can actually kill it.

Then a witness came forward, it was the young girl Hohotaro saw in the jungle, she was about the same age as Hohotaro. She was also the same girl that called the townspeople to the cove. She recounted everything she saw to the elders. After another short deliberation the elders came to a unanimous decision.

Hohotaro was unconscious for about a week. By then the feast was over, his father was put into incarceration and he wasn't even able to attend his mother's funeral. When Hohotaro woke up it seems that the rukh inside his body disappeared. He had hollow eyes and a blank expression that clearly reflect the state of his heart.

He attended the ceremony, everyone was excited for him, they congratulated him and sing his praises about being the youngest man that passed the trial, but for him everything feels like he was just an outsider looking in. He felt detached to the world, everything was meaningless. He felt black rukh slowly seeping into his heart. He took the horn of the Rampaging Unicorn and started to head home, at least what used to be his home, now he feels that it's nothing but an empty hut.

When he got close to home he saw a bright light inside. His eyes widened and started to rush home. Beyond all logic he thought to himself that everything was just a bad dream, that his mother and father are both waiting for him at their home smiling and with open arms. He started to tear up believing all the lies he told himself.

He reached the front door and inside he saw his mother carrying a baby on her arms. Behind tear filled eyes, he smiled and reached out to her whispering.

"Mom...."

On that split-second he really believed the illusion brought by his wishful thinking, his tears and the bright light inside the room. Eventually the illusion faded with his smile, and standing there was a young girl with a baby on her hands.

The girl noticed Hohotaro and nervously says. "Uhm... Oh hi uhh... Hohotaro right? That's your new name. Have you seen your sister yet? Isn't she cute, though we still don't know what to name her. I'm Ruririko by the way...."

For Hohotaro, Ruririko's voice seems to slowly fade, all he can see was the baby on her arms. He walked slowly towards them.

In front of Hohotaro, flashes of memories comes into view. His father and his mother, the happy memories he had with them. The slow fall of his father into depravity and how his mother still loves him in spite of it. Then her mother's final moments what seems to be ages ago and her final words to Hohotaro.

"....promise that you'll take care of your little sister for me. Take care of Kirara..."

"Kirara. her name is Kirara." Hohotaro whispers as he reached out and gently took Kirara out of Ruririko's hands.

Kirara opened her eyes and let out a little baby chuckle as she extends her hands to Hohotaro's face. It's like there was an explosion of white rukh and Hohotaro's doubts, fears and hopelessness was all washed away. On his face there was a genuine smile. He hugged Kirara with his face on her baby blanket trying to dry his flowing tears and said.

"For mother and for father I swear, I won't let anything bad happen to you, I will do all I can to make you happy, and I will use all my power to protect you, Kirara..."

Five years passed and Hohotaro is now a fully contributing part of the Tribe despite of his age. And here is where his new journey starts.

Role-Play Sample:

"Nii-chan, niii-chaaan wake up!"

Hohotaro feels someone trying to shake him awake. But try as he may he can't just ignore the soft embrace of his warm bed. He buried his head back on his pillow and waved his arm up.

"another 5 mins..."

The shaking didn't stop.

"But nii-chan. You've said the same thing 5 mins ago..."

Hohotaro turned over and opened his eyes lightly. On the side of his bed is his little sister Kirara. She is a 6 year old Imuchakk girl, she's wearing the traditional headband of their tribe and she has a long blue hair that is tied loosely into a braid. Hohotaro pats her haid and smiled as best as he can in his groggy state.

"another 5 mins..."

Kirara pouts then Hohotaro heard little foot steps fading away. Haah... peace at last Hohotaro thought, he made himself comfortable and try to go back to sleep. But he spoke too soon, a little moment later he heard footsteps coming back.

"oooooniiii-saaaaaaaaan!!!Hup.. YAAH!!!!"

Kirara ran back towards Hohotaro then hopped up close to the ceiling then brought both her feet towards Hohotaro's midsection.

"KUH!"

Hohotaro is now awake.
