History: Born in Heliohapt to a wealthy family, Ivris wasn't expected to do much as the only child of the house. But ever since birth, she'd always been a kind and helpful girl, making friends with the children of other families and doing what she could to help out. Her interest in magic was sparked after watching a Lightning Magician employ his craft at a festival in town, and she knew that from then on she wanted to study it. Her time was completely spent between learning about magic, which the famous healing magicians of Heliohapt knew at least the basics about. She discovered that she was a Blue Magician, specializing in Water Magic and decided to use her talents to assist in the growing of crops in Heliohapt's arid climate. The rest of her time was spent in lessons with tutors in singing, for which she had a beautiful and calming voice, and archery, which she'd quickly begun to excel at. She always made sure to make time to help others, however, mostly doing what she could around the house to keep everything clean and orderly. Her father and mother know she has good intentions, and don't think badly of her humble nature, instead encouraging her to do what she thinks is right. Recently she's been hoping to get a chance to improve her abilities by studying magic elsewhere in order to do more in the world, but for now she has been content just living her peaceful lifestyle in Heliohapt.

Ivris has been studying the sub-type of water magic, converting her knowledge into the realm of ice magic. It hasn't been easy due to the lack of ice around her, but she's slowly been making progress at the hand of a magician tutor her parents hired. In any case, she's been wanting to leave her home more and more in order to become a better magician. She's hoping to find someone that is travelling through Heliohapt in hopes of convincing them to take her with them, given they are good people. She's begun helping out a friend at her stall in the marketplace in order to observe anyone who might be able to fulfill her wish of going out into the world.
Role-Play Sample: Raising her silver wand above her head, she slowly spoke the spell she'd learned in order to be able to sit on the water behind her home in Helioptat and meditate. After the incantation was finished, she tested it out, placing a foot onto the calm, reflective surface. Seeing that'd she had done it well, she stepped out completely, staring out over the endless ocean beyond. It was a beautiful sight, the sun not having begun to peek over the horizon yet but the sky beginning to take on just the slightest hint of red and orange. Smiling to herself, she sat down and began, focusing her mind inward and shutting off all extraneous thought. Once she began delving within the reaches of her mind, her eyes began to glow, a strange thing that no magician she'd met had been able to explain yet. But it was of no important to her; she resolved herself to search inward, hoping for peace and tranquility that would last for the rest of the day. She didn't watch as the sun rose and cast its warming rays over the city, but as her meditation came to an end, the spell she'd cast abruptly broke, sending her into the shallow water. Soaked by refreshed, she let out a light and jovial laugh which quickly resided into giggling as she smiled out over the water. She still had a lot to learn before she was going to be a strong magician, but she was on her way.
