Personality:Endolf’s personality has taken a darker development since he left Reim. Gone is his carefree, childlike façade that he used as a fighter in the coliseum. Now he has become more bitter and even down-right resentful of the people who he has felt have “used” him or faked their alliance with him. He’s given up on “trusting” other people and now will only use them like he feels he’s been used himself until proven otherwise. His numerous betrayals from his “friends” and “teachers” have left him with a thirst for revenge against them. This thirst for revenge coupled with his Fanalis blood leaves Endolf to be a dangerously violent person. However he remains capable of enough self control to leave his explosions of fury for fights as opposed to simply exploding during social interactions, making him a savage fighter that no longer finds enjoyment out of fighting but instead now goes for fast wins that involve utterly destroying his foe.

But not all of this rage and fury is a bad thing for him. In fact it has produced a powerful drive and sense of willpower in Endolf that fuels him. While in truth the main subject of his drive is his goal of revenge this doesn’t mean that it can’t be put towards other things like his goal of conquering dungeons.

Likes:

  • Fighting: He's good at it. Endolf didn't want to fight anymore than during his time in the coliseum but since leaving Reim he's only gotten stronger and fiercer as a warrior.

  • Magic Items: As far as Endolf is concerned finding out about magic items and weapons have been the best thing to happen to him. He finds them to be incredibly useful.

  • Animals: Despite how he feels about humans Endolf could never bring himself to hate, or harm, an animal if it wasn't an absolute requirement.


Dislikes:

  • Being beaten: Endolf only grows further enraged if there's a prospect of him being beaten in combat.

  • Backstabbers: People who get close to someone and make them think they've got their best interests in mind before using them and betraying them. Having dealt with one too many people like this Endolf has grown bitter and furious towards people who act this way.

  • Spoiled people: Endolf can't stand people who get everything handed to them without an ounce of work.

Aspirations: Dungeon Capturing: Endolf’s childhood, post-escape, had been spent listening to the stories the other coliseum fighters would tell when he wasn’t training. Among these stories were those about their amazing adventures outside of Reim as well as the mysterious towers called “dungeons” that seemed to appear at random around the world. The prospect of having adventures like those and taking on dungeons himself drove the boy with a passion. Now as an adult, and having actually challenged a dungeon once already, Endolf’s drive to explore dungeons has evolved to a desire to conquer as many of them as he can and gather as much of their powers as possible.

Phobias/fears: Becoming a slave again: Having been born into slavery and grown up in the position Endolf enjoys his newfound freedom that he fought so hard to obtain. He had even risked his very life by gambling it the way he did in the Reim Coliseum. The idea that someone or something would be able to take that freedom away from him again is enough to send Endolf into a fear induced rage directed at whatever triggered his fear in a mad frenzy for survival.

Appearance: Endolf has gone through an intense growth spurt over the years since he left Reim. Now longer a tiny, skinny bean sprout that could still be mistaken for as a child. Having gained about a foot in height he now stands at a strong six feet five inches tall. In addition he has gained about ten pounds in muscle weight, bringing him up to a max of one hundred and seventy pounds and gaining a sculpted, athletic physique. Outside of his new height and muscles not much of Endolf’s appearance has changed. His hair is styled rather impressively, with the black hair on either side of his head cropped close to his scalp and the crimson hair on top of his head spiked around.

History: Endolf was, like most known Fanalis these days, a former slave in servitude. However he was not a Fanalis that had been captured but had rather been born into his position, his mother being the only parent he knew and she herself having been in servitude as a slave to their master. It was from his mother’s being forced into the act of a prostitute, servicing their master’s guests on command, that Endolf was born and because of this his father is unknown. The child would only know his mother’s love as a small beacon of light for only a few years before she would be murdered while servicing their master’s guest when the man in question took to a rage against her after one drink too many. The next several years of his life were harder than he’d have anticipated with his mother’s passing. The tortures were almost unbearable. But he held strong.

Endolf would teach himself to read and learn in secret and try to devise cunning plans to earn himself his freedom but alas the opportunity never arose, that is until he was taken to Reim on a trip with his master. The boy was brought to do his job and attend to his master’s every demand while they were there. With his life as nothing more than a plaything for his master’s amusement Endolf found himself thrown into the Reim Coliseum in what would be his first fight in a long line of them. Using his quick wits he was able to see how it was a perfect opportunity to earn his freedom and faked his death during his match. Endolf found himself lucky enough that his master had cared so little about him that he thought the death to be real and used the chance to sneak off and recover by being dragged away by one of the gladiators.

When he was healed enough Endolf would ask, using his new freedom, to become a gladiator himself. His first test was passed, just by the skin of his teeth. He was then accepted into the gladiator training program and has been there since. Eventually Endolf left Reim behind to go off and train with one of the coliseum’s better known fighters. As it would turn out she would betray his trust on several occasions before finally costing him his life in the dungeon Ronove. This wouldn’t be the first person to treat him this way and after his time in Ronove Endolf would be a different person who would only dream of revenge and power.

Raijin's fur along his back begins to glow blue before a small bolt of lightning is released from his body, striking whatever Endolf indicates to be the target. The struck object is then coated in a layer of lightning that lasts for 2 posts that adds C tier lightning damage to the object.

Weapons

Resentment:


Name: Resentment
Tier: B
Type: Sword and chain
Material: Damascus Steel and Obsidian
Appearance: Looking at Resentment one wouldn't think it had been completely reforged. The sword still holds the same shape, using Endolf's original sword as a base, Resentment improves on the weapon's design and corrects it's flaws. An additional layer of metal has been smithed over the original steels blade, resulting in it ending in a forked shape with two sharp and deadly points. The sides of the blade still as deadly sharp as before and perfect for cutting enemies. Gone are the leather straps Endolf used to swing the blade around wildly and instead they have been replaced by a single metal chain with a small grappling hook object at the end that attaches to the shaped, sharpened pommel at the bottom of the sword's handle, the chain normally remaining wrapped around Endolf's forearm until needed to be attached. The chain now lengthens out to a max reach of 5 meters. Replacing the markings on the flat sides of the blade is an intricate, stylized image of a golden bird. The addition of the sharpened points has brought the weapon's length to roughly 140cm with the width remaining at roughly 61cm.

Appearance: Resolve, being Endolf's second custom made sword, is actually slightly shorter than its predacessor Resentment. Measuring in at 102cm. It does have a greater width however, with a width of 76cm. Visually the weapon resembles a shark of sorts, having been designed based off of the aquatic creature to begin with. On either side of the blade a smaller fin shaped blade extends out by 15cm on either side of the main blade. The overall blade seems to be filled with space where there should be metal, most of the metal instead being comprised mainly from the center section of the blade and the edges that run off of it. The center of the blade is separated into two handholds by a crescent forming along one side of the blade that circles up to a single star before continuing halfway down the other side of the top section of the handle, the inside of this crescent being sharpened edges like those along the blade itself. The true nature of this weapon however is its ability to become a pair of twin blades that are held connected by a 4m chain at the base of each handle.

These spots include the far tip of it's tail and runs all along the back right up to it's snout. When agitated or scared small sparks of static electricity dance through it's fur.

Hand of the Stream:

Name: Hand of the Stream
Tier: C
Type: Magic Tool - Gauntlet
Magic Type:  Water
Appearance: A 30cm gauntlet with a magic circle on the palm.
Function:

    River Dance - Feeding magoi into the tool causes a high pressure current of water to envelope the weapon in its grip, the user is then able to shoot the high pressure water off their weapon up to 10m away in a 3m crescent shape, dealing C-Tier water damage. 10 magoi to activate | 5 to sustain.


Molten Strike:

Type: Magic Weapon - Whip
Magic Type: Lava [Heat + Strength]
Appearance: This whip has a 66cm handle made of cooled molten rock and has two 2 meter long “strings” seemingly constructed of lava, capable of inflicting B-tier damage with its strike. The magic circle can be found inscribed on the handle.
Function:

    Heated Control – Feeding magoi into the whip will cause the handle to wrap around the users fist and temporarily allow them to control it as if it were apart of their own body. 10 magoi to activate | 5 to sustain.



Ring of Xiuhcoatl:

Name: The Ring of Xiuhcoatl

Type: Magic Item - Ring
Magic Type: Lightning
Appearance:This delicate ring is made from gold and there is a small amethyst stone is attached in the middle of the ring. The magic circle is located inside the band of the ring.
Function:

    Static Surprise – After feeding magoi to the item, it will create a static electricity charge that will travel outwards up to 3m in front of the user. The static electricity charge will cost any conductive metal to be covered in a painful but weak charge of electricity. It is possible to hold onto the object in this state with great pain tolerance. However, doing so will deal D-Tier damage to the hand each post held. The effect of the static charge on the enemy lasts for 3 posts. 10 Magoi to activate | 5 Magoi to sustain.


Ring of Striking Snakes:


Name: The Ring of Striking Snakes

Appearance: A ring made up of two intertwining metal serpents that protect a beautiful emerald. Within the emerald, a magic seal could be seen.
Function:

  • Serpent's Grasp - Feeding magoi into the ring, it will release two serpent-like creatures out of it. These creatures will grasp onto a target up to 10m away and begin to pull them towards the user. The hold can be broken by someone with D Tier strength or higher. 10 magoi to cast | 5 to sustain


Flying Carpet:

Item Name: Flying Carpet
Tier: A
Type: Magic Item
Description:
A magical flying carpet that allows the user to soar through the sky. It measures 2 meters in width, 3 in length, and about 20cm in terms of thickness, making it quite flexible.
Function:

  • This magical carpet gives a 25% word count reduction on traveling topics.
  • The carpet can fly at great speeds equivalent to an A-tier flight spell, up to a height of 60 meters. The carpet can hold up to 5 people at a time before being weighed down. This function is free in social situations but costs magoi to be used in combat or when under attack. 10 magoi to activate | 5 to sustain.

Trait Effect:

  • Physical Strength is above the average human's and increases with each rank up.

    • D-tier: The character can now lift large boulders twice their size with ease and deal C-tier damage with their physical strength alone.
