Yushin vs Giana Antonius 0DSOvQD
Enemy Name: Giana Antonius
Rank: C
Needed damage to take down: B
Description: Giana Antonius is the daughter of a Reim noble family who had been sent to Kou for schooling as her father wanted his daughter to experience more than life in just her home country. Giana returned to Reim shortly before conflict between the two countries broke out. Much to her father’s horror, Giana had completely absorbed Kou culture and insisted on dressing in Kou fashion, even using Kou designed weaponry and techniques! Too infatuated with her newfound independence to take care of her duties as a noblewoman, this young lady headed to the coliseum to prove her worth to her family. She is a first time competitor, and confident in her skills.
Abilities: Giana runs at 6 m/s and sprints at 12 m/s. She carries a pair of bladed fans that impart D-tier basic damage.

Rising Moon - Flicking her wrists, Giana tosses both fans at the same time at 20 m/s. Each fan deals D-tier damage.

Falling Moon - Raising both fans above her head, Giana brings them down in an X-pattern at 20 m/s to deal C-tier damage.

Resting Moon - Twirling one of her fans around her body at 20 m/s, Giana deflects up to B-tier damage.

"You're not Kou by blood. Who are you? Slightly perplexed by his upcoming opponent's attire, Yushin confronted the woman to ask about her garments. "By the looks of it, you even possess the features of a Reim native." The woman, Giana, humphed and raised his hand to her mouth in an overly apparent eastern fashion. "Is there an issue with that? I just sort of adopted another culture's habits, is that a sin? She refused to speak of the matter any further and turned his attention away from the white haired man to prepare for their match. "I'll show you, I'll show everyone, especially mother and father."

Yushin inwardly sighed at the apparent immaturity of his upcoming opponent. He knew that this coliseum was quite the flexible arena, but to allow a child such as this to fight, wasn't this a little too much? Then again, he himself was a child as well, barely an adult by the world's standards. However, he did his best to keep his dignity in tact, even if at times he failed.

His particular waiting room was bland, quite bland, almost purposefully bland. He had noticed it earlier, due to the implications of his "eastern" attire, many of the organizers showed particular "hospitality" towards the young man. And by hospitality, contempt. The guards outright ignored many of his requests, and they settled him in more of a prison cell than that of a waiting room. It was understandable though. To his knowledge, Reim and Kou possessed fresh scars through the war they raged against one another. Some of the locals and civilians gave no care to the matter, but many still held strong distaste to any of those who even resembled a Kou mongrel. And to them, I'm that mongrel. He sighed once again. He noticed this treatment towards him in his last match against the fighter Rufi. It was unfortunate really, Yushin in no way shape or form was or was ever in relation to the Kou. He had nothing to do with them. But, his eastern external appearances and his biological disposition led many to believe that he was associated with the Kou Empire, or at least by blood. It wasn't racist, merely ignorant. The racism was held towards the Kou people, everything else outside of that realm was ignorance, and it was an ignorance that gave Yushin much pity for the people.

Dwelling on these thoughts, he made a note to do something about this in the future. At this time, a knock was heard by the "waiting room" and he was called to the arena. "Come on then, you're up." The guard gave no other indication of care after he let the white haired youth out, and after doing so, he promptly ignored the Sangju man.

Once again, the roar of the coliseum was deafening. This time, the spectators recognized Yushin from his previous bout and a mixture of reactions could be heard from the stands. "Hey! Don't hesitate to kill this time!" One such remark could be heard. "Fight hard! Lemme see some blood! It's honorable to spare your prey but at least some some more guts!" Again, Yushin found himself shaking his head at the blatant differences between this coliseum and the duel ring. The honor and dignity was no where to be found here.

Giana stood opposite to him in the arena, her Kou-like gown fluttered aimlessly in the hot wind of the day. He took immediate notice of her weapons, dual fans that appeared to be capable of more than just cooling oneself off. Her posture was a determined one, almost as if she had something to prove. Still, all he could see was an immature child. At that moment, he made a quick on the spot decision, he would end this quickly, much quicker than his bout with Rufi.

"Come at me then- huh?!" Come at her he did. Unlike the previous fight, Yushin initiated the fight and the crowd went wild as he did so. He leaped and within a mere seconds he found himself running and sprinting towards the girl. He opened with a snap of his leg and struck true to the girl's temple, most likely disorienting her for a brief moment. In a flurry, he unsheathed his geom and hwando and struck a cross blade at the Kou impersonator. Giana tried futily to deflect this attack with resting moon but she was only successful with deflecting the hwando as the geom hit true.

She tried to rally back with her own attacks, raising her own two fans above her head, she brought them down in an X pattern , unfortunately for her, Yushin was an agile fighter. Relying on the balls of his feet, the Sangju man leaped sideways to avoid the fans, and now with her flank open, he brought his geom and used his guard to create a heated friction before striking Giana across his front body. All he could hear was a cry as once again, he felled his opponent.

With sorrowful eyes, he did not celebrate his victory. He had struck down such a young girl. Obviously she had something to prove, to someone. Had he just stripped her of her determination. Again, he helped his opponent to up, and without a word, he carried her to the waiting room where she would be treated.
