A golden pillar formed above the mage and his two remaining pets. That was good enough - Seti didn't bother to sit around, waiting to see if they were dead. Instead, he turned and ran, stumbling a few times as he shot through the garden, hoping to get to a doctor as soon as possible. The sweat was beginning to trickle into his eyes, blinding him slightly as he ran away from the scene.
His hand instinctively reaching out and grabbing onto the nearest thing to hand (a small tree root, as it happened) he thought for a good few seconds that he was safe. The fall had stopped, at least for now, and now he could focus on pulling himself up. At least, that was what he thought before the ground underneath him collapsed, causing his legs to slip out underneath him again, crashing onto the ground.
Weirdly enough, it didn't even hurt. He had just slipped and landed on his face, and yet his face didn't even sting. His nose should have broken, but it was like the fall was cushioned by something. He had no idea what, but that wasn't the important thing - the important thing was that he was slowly beginning to descend the hill even with his hand gripping tightly around the root.
His eyes still slightly blinded by the sweat, he attempted to focus on his hand to see what was going on, and when it finally did the pit fell out of his stomach - his arm was physically stretching, elongating far past what a human arm should be able to. This impossible sight sent his mind into a panic, letting go in his surprise. Of course, letting go meant that the only thing stopping him from falling down the hill properly had just disappeared.
As you can imagine, it was at this point that he began his fall in proper, his speed picking up rather heavily the further he descended, sliding down on his knees, shredding his clothes to pieces by the rocks and thorns that he passed on his way down.

There was one large issue with being in a foreign nation, and that was the fact that he had absolutely no idea where he was, nor where he was going. The mansion wasn't in Mantua, the one city that he had almost come to know decently since his time within Reim, and that meant that he had absolutely no idea where he should run to.
Were his mind clearer, he might have been able to activate a spell like Gravity lift and just fly at a high speed until he knew where he was going. However, he was worried that he would pass out during the spell and fall to his gory demise. That was not something that he was that interested in, so he was just going to have to run on feet.
Wiping the sweat away from his eyes as well as he could without stopping moving, he took his eyes off of the road for a good few seconds, before stumbling as he realized that he'd just moved onto a slope, the ground underneath him collapsing and beginning to send him slipping down the hill that the mansion was on the side of. At the bottom of said hill was a small field, so it wasn't like if he fell he would fall in a river and drown, but it would certainly hurt to roll down that far. He had to stop himself from falling.
