Kaveh Issa 28s3g3
Name: Kaveh Issa
Country Affiliation: Heliohapt
Race: Human
Tier: D-Tier
Specialization: Intelligence [Heat]
Age + Birthdate: 26; May 19th
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Personality:There are always two sides to each coin, two sides to a story, an actual and a perceived idea. These nonsensical phrases are exactly what SHOULD be used to describe Kaveh. Unfortunately, his negative side is usually the more seen and descriptive. Kaveh is the type of man who, when he really wants something, will go to great--even drastic--lengths to succeed. He has an internal hunger that can seldom be satiated. In his efforts to sate his hunger, Kaveh has been known to manipulate not only the rukh around him, but other people. Finding no remorse in taking advantage of situations if it could help his cause in the end, even if deceit is the path he would have to go.

ON THE FLIP SIDE!! Kaveh is a very down to earth person. There may be a few goals, but other than that he isn't TOO needy. Despite his manipulative nature, Kaveh is frankly quite open and sincere. If asked, he wouldn't mind sharing what he knows with people that he knows aren't a threat to his goal. He is somewhat compassionate and has a weak spot in his heart for children. He refuses to destroy a child's innocence and will not reveal any horrible deeds to them. He has no problem teaching those younger, or less experienced than he, in anything he can.

He is actually quite welcoming to most people, not just the younger ones. He is usually seen with a smile on his face. He also greets and speaks with people in a friendly manner, whether he is trying to manipulate them or not. If he becomes upset, however, he only shows it briefly. A quick sign of irritation that doesn't last for a whole second is quickly replaced by a smile.
Likes:
Learning - Kaveh finds that there is no greater joy in life than increasing the range of one's knowledge. The more he knows and is able to do, the more likely he is to be content with himself.
Teaching - Kaveh, for some strange reason, gets a thrill out of teaching others. No matter if the subject is magic or even reading, if he had some sort of influence on an individual bettering a skill, or learning a new one, he is happy.
Cooking - Kaveh's more unusual hobby... cooking. The heat magician loves spending time in the kitchen trying whip up something tasty that he has tasted before and trying to come up with a new dish.
Dislikes:
Cockiness - Kaveh doesn't deem this a very attractive nor intelligent way of going about life. Despite the smile on his face, this is a type of attitude that would disturb and annoy him instantly.
Suspicion - Kaveh is a manipulative kind of guy. This being so, he doesn't like for others to be suspicious of him. Since he knows that others will, he attempts to ease their suspicions even if it means more lies.
Aspirations: Kaveh would like nothing more than to be one of the wisest magicians. While his skills may be lacking, Kaveh is constantly reading old tomes and more modern books about magic. He wants to learn as much about magic as he possibly can, including the involvement of the rukh. The rukh is also a subject that the young magician has found great interest in. Though he can't find much information on his own, he is making it a goal of his to find out more about the little birds.
Phobias/fears: Kaveh's simplest and biggest fear is not being good/strong enough. The thought of being too weak intellectually or magically is overwhelming for him and often times causes him to revert to a more primal, frenzy like state, attempting to counter being overwhelmed. This is the biggest drive for his thirst of knowledge. He figures that if he continues to learn (whether it be by himself or another), there's not really any chance that he can feel inferior or overwhelmed intellectually.
Face-Claim: Hao Asakura - Shaman King
Hair Color: Chocolate Brown
Eye Color: Brown/Crimson
Height: 183cm (6ft)
Weight: 79kg (175lb)
Appearance:Kaveh has a rather standard height, standing at six feet even. As most magicians, he doesn't have a large amount of muscle mass, but what he does have has been toned through the years to give him a more lean frame. His hair is unusually long, reaching down to the middle of his back. His bangs are styled into two large bangs to hang over each side of his head. His face has a rather soft look to it, making him seem a bit more inviting.

His choice of attire is rather interesting. Most commonly, he is seen in dark red pants, black fingerless gloves, black boots, and a dirty tan hoodless cloak. He chooses not to wear a shirt no matter what climate he is in. On special occassions, Kaveh adds a black shirt and ties his hair into a ponytail.
Rukh Alignment: White
Special Traits: Kaveh has an unusual trait that carried over from his mother. When Kaveh begins to command the rukh, his eyes lighten to a crimson color.
History:
Kaveh's past isn't very extravagant. He was born in Magnostadt, to a magician (his mother) and a normal human (his father). The couple had an interesting relationship. His father was a struggling salesman that obtained the majority of his business from his lover and her family. The man's shop was a simple clothing store. Kaveh's mother, however, was a magician at the Magnostadt Academy of Magic. She progressed to become a second kodor student before she was pregnant with our young Kaveh. Her pregnancy caused her to step down from her studies and devote her time to the family she was about to have.

When Kaveh was born, the woman's interesting trait happened again. Whenever she casted a spell, the irises of her eyes changed from blue to a golden amber. The sight of this alarmed everyone in the room, but there seemed to be no abnormalities with the young babe. The parents didn't pay it any mind and proceeded to raise the young soon-to-be magician as if they were never concerned. Kaveh was raised under the work ethic of his father and was taught primarily by his mother. When the two parents realized their son was a magician, his teachings spun in a completely different direction. His mother spent even more time with him, educating him on the basics of Rukh, Magoi, and how to manipulate each of them. It didn't take long at all for them to realize that Kaveh was a heat mage. They were a little puzzled at the fact that his mother was a water mage and he emerge the opposite element.

When Kaveh turned 15, he and his parents relocated. He didn't know the reason why, all he knew was that he was going to live in Heliohapt. His life there wasn't too much different than it was back in Magnostadt. The main difference was the fact that he didn't use his magic nearly as much. While in the hot deserts of Heliohapt, Kaveh found it rather uncomfortable for him to deal with his heat magic. His mother encouraged him to return to Magnostadt whenever he was old enough and ready to continue his learning of magic. Eleven years has passed and the young-ish magician decided that it was time for him to advance his art while he was in his prime.

[spoiler=Sample]It wasn't long before the Fanalis was back in Reim. He could proudly say, however, that he had experienced his first skirmish. Though it wasn't that successful in his mind. They were on their way to gaining the upper hand in the situation and then the bottom fell out on their heads. They were outnumbered ten-to-one. So, Bahir's group did what was best for them at that time... retreat. Of course, it wasn't the most 'honorable' way to end the battle, but it allowed for the strike force to still be useful to the rebellion in some form or fashion. The assassin had yet to count himself out, and he could only hope that Octavius would be able to use him in the future for more than just being a meat shield.

As he was resting at his temporary home, he received a message from the very man he hoped would be able to use him. Unfortunately, the message didn't come with as good of news as the fanalis would have enjoyed. Apparently there was a veteran soldier training the members of the rebellion so that they weren't all just a bunch of idiots with sharp sticks. These weren't the words in the message, but it is what Bahir's mind translated it to. He knew it to be a fact. Cnaeus, Serelius, and himself were like that on the field. Bahir was trained moreso for stealthy assassinations, rather than head-to-head combat. Perhaps this could turn out to be a good thing. He could use this to better himself and his new arsenal...

Two days had passed since Bahir received the letter and the fanalis felt it time to move. He dressed in his all white outfit, still wearing clothes reminiscent of the standard dress of Balbadd. He walked through the city with his weapons on his sides: his triple stick hanging from his left hip and his shadow's fang hanging from his right hip, heading towards a tavern called the Trusty Steed. When he arrived, Bahir took no time in finding a seat close to the door. He scanned the people around him quickly, looking for any familiar faces from his few rebellion meetings. Unfortunately, none of the people he saw seemed familiar. He did keep in mind that not the entirety of the rebellion were fanalis. There was a completely separate faction meeting.

This made the fanalis adjust his search. Not only did he seek out fanalis soldiers, but those who seemed like they were battle-hardened veterans. His eyes landed on a man who was dressed as a warrior, weapon on hip, and reading some kind of book. Bahir figured that this was the man he was searching for. He smoothly walked over to the man and sat across from him. "Were you the one who sent us all the message?" After a few moments of no response from the man, Bahir reached over and tried to nudge him a bit to draw his attention from the book.
