The wind blew teasingly through the foggy streets of Balbadd, a fishing nation, situated on the coast of the continent upon which it was located. There was an almost ominous feel to it, the sensation one experiences as his spine begins to tingle and he can detect a faint evil approaching. There was indeed trouble afoot in Balbadd; however, it would not manifest just yet.
A lone figure stood tall in the shoddily paved streets of the city's most densely populated area, almost completely desolate of people given the early hour. This figure, once the light adjusted, was seen to have an exquisitely, almost inhumanly handsome face and beautiful locks of blonde hair. He ruffled his mane with his hand (it had become moderately moist due to the heavy fog) and attempted to smooth it down, not realizing that his struggle would be futile and the moisture in the air would soon clog up his golden hair once again. This man's name was Adam, and he knew he would one day make history.
Adam had wandered from the port of the city to this little area when he had arrived, a few hours ago (just shortly after midnight.) Some merchants had began setting up shop, preparing for the busy days they would most likely be having. Whilst they did this, Adam browsed the wares they would be selling later on, when the sun beamed down more brightly.
