Fighting Black Death [Job/Solo]

It had been quite some time since Dynatos had been in action. As of late he had not been doing anything, but that was mainly because he had been in Zou for to long and had become a man outside of his character. He was never one to stay in a certain place for to long, so coming to Heliohapt was a good change of pace. As soon has he had arrived in Heliohapt he took a job in order to get back into the full swing of things.

This job would be a tricky one to saw the least. The only reason it would be tricky is because the 'prey' for this job was a gigantic snake that only came from it's den at night. That meant Dynatos would have to wait until the night in order to complete this job, but further more he had to remove the fangs of the beast so that he could show them to be rewarded for the job.

Ares was closely behind Dynatos as the ventured further and further into the desert. It was still day light out so even when they reached the canyon they'd have to wait until night fall and even then there was no guarantee that the serpant would run into them. Dynatos shrugged off the thoughts and continued his trek through the endless sands. "Looks like we are going to have a long day Ares." Dynatos said looking down at his furry companion. Ares was totting along happily as if he did not have a care in the world when he heard the voice of Dynatos tell him that they were going to have a long day. He barked happily as he looked at Dynatos.

The day progressed and the sun had finally went down. Dynatos and Ares had reached the canyon hours ago; they had been taking a break, trying to cool their bodies in the shade of the massive gash in the earth. Dynatos had his magic carpet with him, but he decided walking would be better. He did not want to become to unfit due to him relying on the carpet to much. Ares flopped down on the ground and seemingly melted. The fiery furball of a animal let out a sigh and whine mixed together. Dynatos looked over to the pup who had grown larger and larger over the time span of a few months. Dynatos smiled at Ares and pulled a small dish from the sack that he had sitting next to him. He then popped the top of his canteen and poured some water into the dish. Ares jumped back to life and assaulted the water in the dish. Seconds passed and Ares was looking dead at Dynatos wanting Dynatos to give him more water. Dynatos smiled and poured more into it.

Just has the fiery furball was about to demolish the water in the dish a large rumbling began to engulf the canyon. Dynatos quickly stood up and began looking around, while he did that Ares almost jumped out of his skin. Dynatos could only assume one thing. That this rumbling was because of the creature he came here to kill. Ares got over the initial shock of the sudden rumbling and held his nose to the air; not seconds later Ares began to growl trying to warn Dynatos that something was approaching them. "Garrrrrrrrr." Dynatos looked down to the canine then back up scanning the canyon more. Minuted passed, but the rumbling remained. It did however become louder and stronger until something told Dynatos to turn around and when he did there it was the large black serpent that he was sent here for. It's eyes seemed to glow in the darkness as it hissed and circled Dynatos and Ares.

"Ares remain calm and do not let it get a hold of you." The words of Dynatos were stern and commanding, but he was trying to be all to sincere with his words. He did not wasn’t any harm to come to Ares. Dynatos knew that Ares and him could take this creature, but it was about more than just beating it. They had to make sure it's fangs did not even prick them or it could mean death. Before the creature could react Dynatos raised his hand into the air and slammed it into the ground causing the ground around the impact point to break apart. Ares was in the right spot to were he did not lose his footing. Ares then released a stream of Fire towards the face of the serpent.

The rocks crumble causing the serpent to be thrown of balance just enough for the Flames of Ares to connect. The flames engulfed the head of the serpent burning it's eyes. All it could see was a large heat source before it stuck out into a agonizing hiss. Dynatos did not however let up his assault. He quickly opened his mouth and let out a roar of massive proportions. The condensed air struck the serpent head on causing it to slam into the side of the Canyon. It however stuck Ares and propelled him across the dirt. Ares yelped from getting smacked by the tail of the serpent, who had unintentionally done so. Dynatos looked to Ares with a concerned look; then back to the serpent, but this time it was a look of pure anger. Dynatos rushed to the tail of the serpent. He took hold of it in his hands and dug his feet into the ground. Every muscle in the legs of Dynatos could be seen of full display. Dynatos jumped into the air bringing the serpent with him. When he got to his highest point in the air Dynatos slung the beast towards the ground. It landed hard causing a crater to form around it's body.

However Dynatos did not stop the onslaught there. He came crashing down on the serpent from the sky. When he came down it was with authority, and a flurry of punches. The snake wanted to move, but it was dazed and slowly losing it's ability to move. If anyone were to see the look on the face of Dynatos they would say he was a demon straight out of hell. While the snake could still move it flared about causing Dynatos to be launched of off it and into the rocky side of the Canyon. The sturdy body of Dynatos could handle the impact, it just knock with wind out of the young fanalis.

This caused Dynatos to need time to regain his composure. This allowed the serpent to regan its composure. Although it had done so it still was severely injured and had become sluggish due to the attacks of the Fanalis. The serpent however had become furious. It opened its mouth wide in order to be able to sense the heat signatures from Dynatos and Ares. It was still having a hard time figuring out where they were; thanks to Ares that is. Dynatos saw the serpent began searching for the and ripped himself away from the wall. Ares had passed out from the sheer impact of the serpents tail from when it had hit him. Dynatos was more concerned for Ares than he was for himself. Ares was still a pup and could not fight this creature himself. Dynatos rushed towards the serpent making as much noise as possible. The serpent fe;t the vibrations and turned towards Dynatos attempting to slam its body into him. Dynatos saw this and grabbed onto the serpent as it rammed into the canyon wall. The attack from the serpent caused slight damage to itself, but even more so to Dyantos. It did not only do this once, but multiple times until the grip of Dynatos began to loosen. When it could feel this happen it flung Dynatos from itself and into the ground.

Dynatos was in pain with blood running from various places on his body, but this was not enough to make him give up he stood up and faced the serpent head on. The look of a demon still firmly plastered on his face. The serpent circled Dynatos and rose into the air. Dynatos began to reflect on a lot of things; how he met Ares; his friends Yakuroro and Tetsu; many many things. It wasn't until he heard a stern bark from Ares. Dynatos twisted his head to see Ares standing and growling at the serpent. It was like Ares was telling Dynatos not to give up. Dynatos smirked at the pup and began to think of ways to get out of his current situation. It was then that the idea popped into his head. The snake opened its mouth like it was about to attack Dynatos, but instead was met with a very large sword. The sword sipped through the head of the serpent and caused it to go limp. Dynatos sighed heavily and watched as the serpent hit the ground. He approached the mouth of the beast and ripped the fangs from its head. He then gather his things and got out his magic carpet. He was exhausted and so was Ares.
