Yushin's head turned slowly towards the harbor from his windowed seat inside the inn, glancing at the freshly docking ships that had returned from likely perilous journey (if the sailors would tell you anything). As much as he hated to admit it, the nation of Kou possessed rather well kept and functioning piers, and it was no wonder that their port towns were to active. Still, the man would have to ponder further if he were to assess its qualities compared to impressive the properties of Balbadd's own such towns. He should go sometime, he thought, it would be a sight to see... and more importantly a good study to dissect.

The man without land had never once lost sight of his goals, his objectives. The size of his ambition outweighed the life's wants of a thousand men. His inner fire burned, torched and fanned by the festering of what could only be fate. All he would have to do is seize it. To many that would seem absurd, but to him it was only so simple. You either did or you didn't. There was no in between. This wasn't for his own sake either, but for his ancestors and the generations the both preceded him, and the very same that would one day succeed him too.

For this grand effort, Yushin would have to unite his people. Again, it was simply said, but it wasn't simply done. Either still, the Uncrowned Prince was no ordinary man and if he did not try then he would never realize his dream. The whole venture into this forsaken land was not for his own leisure despite the bountiful harvest of work available to a sellsword such as himself. No, usually he would not want to be in this hated country, but he had very good reason too.

Eyeing the pier his eyes rested upon a group of men, tattooed... yet rather finely dressed for sailors. They bared the mark of his target, the malicious group who had taken captive a very particular man of interest. Now would be his chance to move.

He paid his fee in a speedy fashion, but never once did he show any indication of hurry of alarm. Like a predator stalking his prey, he e snaked through the crowded streets of the bustling town, weaving and sliding through all obstacles with a dancer's grace, never once indicating his purpose. The hooligans were like bumbling fools, stumbling through the streets in the exact opposite manner of Yushin's nobility. The criminals were flat footed and heavy in their steps and incredibly easy to tail. By the time Yushin had come across their apparent secret base, the men were nowhere to be seen. A simple concoction of a heavy drought was enough to knock them out. Having already been seemingly drunk, the prospect of further drinking was easy enough for Yushin to lure them to an alleyway until the knocked themselves out.

Weeks of study and planning would culminate to this day. Yushin had spent countless hours learning deciphering their codes, learning their system, and understanding their organization. Today, he would finally infiltrate Xuiquang's heinous gang before his people were sold like common slaves in the illegal markets.

He knocked at the door of their hideout and the sliding eye slit immediately opened to reveal an oriental face. It had begun. Yes, today would be the day....

It was a far cry from restored to its original state, rather on the contrary. Kou as a land, a nation, still had much recovering to complete. Trently and his efforts in south west Kou helped the economy and poor, slightly. It was a great adventure Trently would have, to help Kou stand back up on their own two feet. Now was the time in history for Trently to draw his mark on the world, and begin his true legend and adventure. Trently lied in bed, sleeping in his guild office in a port city that often did trade with Balbadd, given their accessibility to one another by sea. While he slept and slumbered, a bright light would begin rising over Kou's horizon, shining upon a new day to be had. Warmness met Trently's guild hall's glass panes, as light radiated through it into the dark and peaceful room. Dreams of becoming his better self never ceased to exist and burned bright within Trently's heart, seeking better for others as he did for himself. Trently liked a challenge, something to overcome and defeat.

Awaking, young Trently would rub his eyes before standing to his feet. Overlooking the port city, with people beginning to populate the streets below, Trently smiled and stared into the dawn of a new story. Trently would breath a deep breath, placing his hands upon his hips, and wondering what lied far out at sea. It looked beautiful, so perhaps beautiful things rest hidden deep within the heart of the southern sea. Trently may never know, unless he set out one day, in search of what beauty it may possess. Then suddenly, a knock upon Trently's door would alert him. He would smile, looking over at his just knocked upon door, approaching it. Responding to the knock, Trently would let himself be known as awake. What news did his people bring him? Trently was curious at the very mere drop of a dime.

Trently: "Yes? I am awake. What news is being brought?"

Asked young Trently, smiling, having returned to Kou and feeling well and energetic. It would be an interesting news report his reporting officer would tell him, sad but something interesting none the less from how such activity was alive, and in one of Trently's home cities none the less. With a quick and urgent voice, his reporting officer spewed out the news. Upon hearing of what news is officer had to bring, Trently's smile softened. It was not great news but good for such news to be brought to his attention. As for the news itself, well, may the officer say himself.

Reporting Officer: "We have received news and a plead from a malnourished young lady who escaped an illegal slave trade occurring within the city. She is asking us to help rescue her people and loved ones. She knows the location. We fed her and gave her some water."

Trently's fist would clench, never not ready to help people in need of assistance. He would step forward and open his door. In front of him his officer stood, prepared to lead Trently him to the young woman in question who just escaped. "Lead me, please. Thank you for feeding her and giving her a drink." Trently said as he finished donning his kimono. He would follow behind the officer down some flights of stairs, to the second level of the guild tower. There, sat a woman in tattered clothes, seeming happy with having just ate a good meal. Trently would sit down and introduce himself, before delving into what happened and how she came here, and her story.

Trently: "I am Torento Yanaihara, or just Trently, and it is nice to meet you. Please, I wish to hear your story. How did you come here?"

Spoke the young man, wishing to hear her story and her voice out. She nodded, unveiling her tale of hardship and troubles that led her here. Her story began as an individual from a faction or tribe known as the Jeonju. Within her faction, the young lady honed her mind by learning strategy, being a student of it until being captured by a dastardly man known as Xuiquang to be sold into the slave trade alongside other members of her tribe. She went on to escape the dirty grasp of Xuiquang, managing to strategize her way out but having to make a quick break for it to escape, thus not being able to free the others. Oh how she longed to have the Jeonju faction reunite, with their freedom. Hearing this brave young lady's plea for assistance and tale would invigorate Trently in freeing the people she loves and cares for. His fist clenched, the young warrior would rise from where he sat, and would ask her to draw out a map if she can to the area she escaped. In a matter of a mere minute, she had a map drawn out, a good one at that. I guess expect great maps from a strategist. Trently would roll her map up, and set out from his guild hall at once. He would take his katana, and some tools before leaving, and off the man was.

It took a moment, but after some following of her map, Trently would find himself at a hideout of the slavers and Xuiquang. With his Necklace of Hidden Arts, young Trently would stalk the hideout carefully, unsure how to approach the prospect of rescuing the people captured. Suddenly however, a person would approach Xuiquang's hideout. A person with them? Trently lied near the hideout door and ready to enter behind whoever was knocking with their fist on the hideout door. It was time to end a slaver, and free a young lady's precious people.
