Job:

A brand new season was upon Trently, the summer. With it, brought a time of rejoice and celebration. The former bandits he recruited into his guild were doing well, and begun to become comfortable with Trently. It was not all great yet as some were not fully set in but in due time, they will. Coming down from the mountain, Trently and his men were to begin to set up a new camp closser to the village, fortifying the camp with wood walls. The men were looking to create residences of their own here by the nearby village. Trently supported their decision to want to move into the village slowly but he had to keep a close eye on them. These men needed someplace to live rather than camps all the time. Some of men opted to wander instead however, and try to never stay in one place for too long if they would want to succeed as mercenaries. For the time being though, they set up camp together while the construction of the guild hall began. The purpose of the guild hall was to attract anyone looking for help or mercenary assistance, with a job board inside for people to post their jobs on. It would also be for guild members to visit frequently, being called for whatever they are needed for or coming to just hang out. Trently would create himself an office inside the guild hall on the top floor to look over any business ventures or jobs being offered to the guild. This was the start for Trently's strife of helping the Kou Empire recover from the civil war. On the topic of the civil war, Trently had got good news it ended. He did not know what to say beside that he hopes Yoshiro Zu can help restore the country to its former glory with post war recovery campaigns. Trently did not know how possible this was however. The civil war left a great impact on the country that may very well continue to be felt years from now. Trently could no nothing but try his very hardest to help the country get back on its feet but he was by no means loyal to it, he chose the life as a wanderer when he departed from the country a while ago to go on an adventure. The young leader hoped Yoshiro Zu would bring his home country prosperity again. He could not rely on him him though. If he sought for the great Kou Empire to succeed again, he had to take action himself!

The men and Trently were able to start to sell the fortune of wood logs cut down from the forest, and a trader luckily was very interested in the masses of wood Trently had to offer. Trently did not know if the price he would sell the trader was accurate of what it is worth but Trently would sell a great sum of wood to him, in the hundreds that would be transported out of the village by large transport caravans. He sold them for just enough that the guild needed to hire an architect from a nearby city and material for the guild hall and new settlements for the village. Trently could not sell all of the wood he chopped down, as he wanted to later sell the rest of what he had for a more accurate price but for now even if the price he sold them for was bad compared to what he could have got, that is fine. He only needed enough. Trently were to get to work with his guild the same today they received their building materials and hired architect. The location of the guild hall was to be set nearby a route entering the village, with it being nestled in the valley village between two mountains. It was a good location considering the occasional travelers and frequent traders that often did trade here with the locals. Furthermore, this was good for Guawei and his soon to be wife, now that they were much closer to his fiance's mother who had been worried sick about her. It was all going good, and everybody was working hard. The architect hired was experienced, and knew just what kind of guild hall Trently had in mind. It was still their first guild hall however and so it was not be anything amazing, but it sure would be great.

Helping in construction, Trently were to do some of the moving of materials and heavy lifts. It was a labor intensive job but they could do it together in no time with teamwork. Guawei was a major asset to the team with his impressive strength and stamina. In a couple hours, they were to have got done quite a lot. The men were dedicated, even in the blistering sun. Trently had begun to have a newfound respect for these men who just over a week ago were petty thieves. It was progressing well and Trently and the guild had started to even get villagers come by to see how it was coming along. The guild hall may not be able to be complete today but could be tomorrow with how quick and hard his men worked. Trently himself had to take a short break to eat and drink some water. Welcoming some of his men to eat and drink, Trently and a couple of the guild members who had been at work for a while sat down on a nearby hill. It was a nice view from this hill, a very breathtaking sight to behold. The mountains and valley looked so vast and mighty from this hill he and his men rested atop. Other men who had taken a break earlier were to start working on the guild hall again, and it looked like it would be going nice. Birds were tweeting, the village kids played out, and it was a relatively quaint time. Replenishing their bodies to get back to work, their break were to soon end.

The day had begun to come to an end and with that came time for the men to finish up their work on the guild hall. Upon coming back, the guild hall were to have progressed a fair amount and it were to look like it may be able to be completed by tomorrow evening if they continued to work diligently on it. Delegating men to certain positions sped up the construction a lot and Trently overseeing the project with the architect, the guild hall was almost done! The first floor had been completed an hour ago, and the second floor and other additions were being started on. Night was arriving and lots of the men were tired, or starting to feel the fatigue of working hard since the break of dawn. After a while of helping and looking over the construction, Trently himself were to decide to call it a night for the workers and himself. Guawei was a large contribution to the construction of the guild hall and undoubtedly would be more tomorrow. The sun leaving the sky, night fell and with it, another star shining night sky. Tonight, Trently would sleep in the camp with the other guild members. However, it was not to be no usual night's sleep but instead, Trently would fake him sleeping in his tent and stakeout his own tent during the night. He wanted to protect himself against any traitors and get rid of anyone that looked to have him dead. Furthermore, the guild members knew the value of Trently's magic tools and some potentially may want to get their hands on them. An hour or two into the night when lots of the men went to sleep in their own tents, Trently were to escape his using his ninja magic necklace to make himself invisible. Hiding within an empty barrel, he poked a hole through it and were to watch his tent veey closely for the next three hours. It was important he did this. Trently did not want traitors in his new guild. Nightly stakeouts were essential to ensuring his guild members were trusting.

In the empty barrel, Trently sat and waited patiently with his eyes focused on his tent. It could be that everyone were trustworthy people, and none of them were traitors. However, this was very optimistic thinking and that has led people in the past to be fooled easily. Trently was no fool like he was in the past. He had learned from his naive ways and was much more on guard and calculated than before. An hour having gone by since he begun the stakeout, he were to feel too cramped and bothered by his lack of space. Sighing loudly, he tried to adjust himself.. when he were to then see three men silently congregate near Trently's tent. Oh my god! Trently was sadly correct! There are traitors among his guild! It was a horrible thing to see with his own eyes but nothing that greatly surprised him. Creeping toward Trently's tent, they brandished their blades and axe, about to try and kill Trently in his sleep. Sadly for them, Trently was not there, but instead a decoy dummy under a blanket! The men quietly entering the tent and attempting to kill Trently, Trently were pop out of his barrel and begin following behind them. His katana in hand, Trently readied an attack to hit them with. A traitorous man striking the Trently decoy dummy with an axe, the actual Trently were to speak up and startle the men. "You traitors! I am always watching!" Roared out loud the dissapointed Trently! Slashing his katana at the men as he channeled magoi into it, a blade of razor wind were to form from the edge of the katana blade and target the men. Reacting with no time to spare, one of the men would attempt to dodge the attack. The man dodged most of in time but was grazed by the blade as with the man with the axe behind him. Both men begun bleeding, but were to continue to stand and fight with C-Tier cuts to their torsos. They were lucky to have dodged or been partially missed by it. However, it had appeared the third of the bunch had slipped past Trently and got behind him! Trently reacted quick before his opponent got the chance to attack his back, ducking, side stepping, then turning toward the man very quickly. Dodging out of the way of the stab in the back the man was trying to hit him with, Trently stabbed his blade into the abdomen of the traitor trying to stab him in the back. Falling to his knees and grabbing his wound, he tried to run away but was more like stumbling away. Trently darted his head back to the other man with the other long dagger and were to find himself being attacked by a barrage of slashes. Jumping back at moment's notice, he were to be slightly cut by the man's rapid slashes. Trently was cut on his forehead, and begun bleeding slightly. He had received a D-Tier cut wound to his forehead. Channeling magoi into Kutter's Katana, he let out once again another blade of razor wind from the edge of his blade. The blade traveled quick, severing the long dagger equipped man's torso in half. It was graphic, and a bloody scene. Trently could not feel bad for the man after what he just had tried. The body of the man cut in half, the blade of razor wind would slash who was behind him next. Not having the speed to dodge the blade of razor magic, he too, the man with the axe, would succumb to the brutality of the attack. The blade severing a part of his abdomen, he would bleed out right then and there, dying. The evil hearts they possessed had resulted in their deaths. However, despite that, Trently were to respect them and bury them later that very night. It would be hard telling the guild tomorrow morning that three of their members died, but not without reason. Trently usually left men alive he fought but he could not allow traitors who sought to kill him live. Perhaps they could have changed their ways, but if they didn't his life would be at risk. Furthermore, Trently allowed them the chance to walk a path of good but they rejected it.
