Before descending down the mountain, Zion found a cave to leave his large sack of valuables as he simply had too many things with him to be inconspicuous. Once he had hidden the bulk of his items away, buried under stone and dirt, it was time to head into the city. After trekking down the mountainside and through the forest, a plain opened up the view and Zion paused to take in the sights. The was long set, but from the looks of Reim on the horizon the people didn't know it or didn't care as controlled flames kept the city well lit. Torches and braziers weren't as impressive as the magical lighting of the magician's city, but it moved Zion all the same. The foxdoll took a moment to adjust his tails and ears making sure they were hid well enough to fool a passing glance. He then wrapped the sack he'd been storing his items in around himself as a makeshift cloak to better hid his ears and backside.
With his preparations complete, the eager foxdoll suddenly began to fly forward, his feet kicking off the air as if it were solid ground. Each step, casual though they seemed, would cause the storm kistune to accelerate in his flight until reaching a blur like top speed. In the dark of night the white figure traced a shadow across the plain before abruptly stopping just before the wall. A strong gust of wind shortly arrived chasing after him which passed over the wall, but the breeze was all the guard on duty had noticed in the darkness. Truth be told, Zion's heart was beating wildly as he had almost run into the wall at full speed. All that training he'd been doing was at high altitude and Zion wasn't used to reacting to obstacles when flying at top speed yet.
Scolding himself for his foolishness, Zion quietly muttered a spell as he flicked his staff through the air before tapping himself on the head with it. A veil of orange rukh shrouded Zion rendering him unseen and unheard as he stepped off the air once more resulting in a swift clean leap over Reim's walls. The fluttering of his clothes in the night air would be undetectable as another step off the air carried Zion forward towards a darker part of town away from the well lit areas. Landing in a dark alley, Zion sighed in relief as he made sure nobody was around to see the light rukh peel away revealing the young magician's form. He didn't know how difficult it would be to enter Reim "officially" but sneaking in had its own stresses.
Still, the famous Reiman city was at hand and Zion felt excitement as he walked out of the alley looking like a cloaked traveler were it not for the staff in his hand that clearly marked him a magician. His goal was to head towards the festive well lit side of town, but even in magnostadt, Zion had always flown everywhere and he quickly became lost trying to navigate the city streets be foot.
